We are just finishing our stay and it has been excellent. The rooms are spacious, the location is great, you can hire equipment right by the slopes and store overnight and the staff are all very helpful and charming The breakfast is sufficient with some hot options and the afternoon cakes are great and served as you relax in the lounge. We had noticed some reviews complain about the lack of a restaurant/bar, but we knew in advance and it’s nice to have a relaxed boutique hotel and there is no lack of restaurants in 1850! As for the price - this is Courchevel 1850 and the hotel delivers exactly what it offered, so we were all very happy

Just come back from a 4 night stay with my husband no kids. They hotel was just ok and not sure we would go back. Positives Great location Beautiful rooms big and done out very nicely. Maid service was brilliant Reception Staff very polite and helpful Negatives The hotel lacked atmosphere. It was basically a nice room and nothing els no bar or restaurant. Breakfast was basic and very unappealing. Room service was poor, we ordered breakfast to the room and it did not turn up. We complained and they where very apologetic and sent us some cakes to the room with a note. Same happened when we asked for some water so we went to local supermarket and bought some. The clientele where a bit odd unfriendly and noisy got woken up at 2am to party going on in the next room. To be fair to the staff they did shut them up. All in all a disappointing stay it was very expensive £500 per night, I would of expected a better experience. I think the hotel has a lot of potential.

Nous avons l’habitude de nous arrêter dans les différents bar des hôtels de la station de Courchevel 1850 lors de nos vacances et décidons pour la première fois d’essayer le Djola. C’est de loin la pire expérience sur la station depuis plus de 15 ans. Le pauvre serveur qui est seul essaie de faire de son mieux pour gérer le service (boissons et préparation des planches). Les planches arrivent après plus de 45 minutes d’attente alors que nos verres sont terminés. La planche Végétarienne est composée de tomates et radis très avancés qui n’ont pas place dans un établissement de ce standing. En prime, les commentaires mesquins et stupides des 2 filles qui sont à l’accueil lors du règlement de la note qui sont totalement inadmissibles. La prochaine fois, je leur recommande d’être discrètes lorsqu’elles se moquent des clients !
