Wir blieben hier eine Nacht während unserer vier westlichen Fahrt. Dies war eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft. Alle waren sehr nett und im Hotel untergebracht. Das Hotel ist nur eine kurze Fahrt von zehn Minuten nach Omaha. Es ist sehr bequem in der Nähe der drei ******s, Innenausflugwagen, große Filmkomplex und andere lokale Attraktionen. Es ist wirklich nahe I-80/29. Es gibt viele Lebensmitteloptionen in der Umgebung. Unser Zimmer war sehr modern und sehr sauber. Das Zimmer hatte alles, was wir brauchen, einschließlich einem Kühlschrank. Meine Frau fühlte sich das Bett eines der besten Hotelbetten, die wir in letzter Zeit schliefen. Die Kissen waren sehr groß und fluffig. Die A/C funktionierte wirklich gut und war sehr ruhig in der Nacht. Das Hotel ist in einem Industriegebiet gelegen, war aber sehr ruhig, vor allem bei Nacht. Der Preis war im Einklang mit anderen Hotels in der Umgebung. Wir sind wirklich spät zurück von der ****** und es gab viele Parkplätze zur Verfügung.Das komplimentäre Frühstück hatte zahlreiche heiße und kalte Artikel und alles geschmackte großartig. Es gibt etwas für alle im Menü. Ein- und Auschecken war ein Brise. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam. Wichtigstens, meine Frau hinterließ einen persönlichen Artikel im Zimmer. Wir riefen zwei Tage später, als wir erkannten, dass sie etwas hinterlassen hatte. Das Personal fand es und schickte es nach unserem Haus, das wir wirklich geschätzt haben. Würde diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen, wenn Sie im Bereich bleiben.

Overall, this would be a good hotel property - not amazing - but good. However, the insanely bright flashing light of the smoke detector (compared to smoke detectors in dozens of other hotels rooms I've stayed in through years of work-related and recreational travel) requires a WARNING: Bring a sleep mask. Or you may want to pack some masking tape or duct tape to temporarily cover the bulb of the smoke detector (of course, without doing anything that would interfere with its operation). This may not be an issue if you are not a heavy sleeper or if you find flashing lights restful. Even sleeping in a position that faced away from the detector, the intense, flashing, green light (about every 10 seconds) lit up the ceiling, walls, and sides of the pillow. I've experienced issues with flashing smoke detector lights before - but none like this one. Who was the unqualified buffoon at Marriott who selected this model for a room intended for sleep?! Apart from this [significant, for me] flashing-light-in-room issue, the hotel was decent. It seemed safe and reasonably clean. The rate was reasonable. The front desk staff were professional and competent. Bedding was comfortable. The location is convenient for accessing nearby downtown Omaha. The setting is a little bland - in the middle of an area of parking lots and sports venues. You'll need a car to get to more interesting areas of Council Bluffs & Omaha for meals, etc. The soundproofing is not great. We could hear our neighbors TV clearly most evenings as well as noise in the hallways. The hotel provides coffee but does not offer tea - in the rooms or in the front lobby. I guess the same genius who saved money by buying a combo smoke detector/lighthouse decided that lowering service another notch in order to save $0.50 per guest (on tea) was a smart idea for a business in the hospitality industry. A final note on the smoke detector. The light bulb on this model illuminates both on the outside (like most models) but also (deviously!) within the inside of the plastic frame - and the frame has a big grating. So even if you put a small piece of tape or a band-aid on the exposed, outside part of the bulb, you will still get to see some flash from within the grating. With apologize to the reader if this review seems a bit obsessed with the smoke detector, but I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotel rooms and not experienced a flashing smoke detector light THIS intense before. My primary goal for my hotel room is sleep, and it boggles my mind that someone chose a model with a very bright flashing light for a hotel room. Come prepared.

Ich habe durch eine der vielen Rabatt-Hotel-Websites gebucht. Die Website bewertete dieses Hotel 8.5, aber es sollte bewertet werden um ein 5. Wir wurden gesagt, dass es sich um ein ganzes Nichtraucherhotel handelt. Aber unser Zimmer war von früheren Rauchern wieder rauchen. Ich bin extrem empfindlich mit schrecklichen Allergien, so habe ich versucht, Lysol zu sprühen, aber es half nicht viel. Die meisten Hotels lassen den Fan ins Zimmer gehen, um es aus zu sitzen, aber dieses Zimmer war heiß, als wir eintraten, was den Geruch des Rauchens viel schlimmer macht. Das Zimmer war “ok” aber sehr grundlegende. Ich hätte ein viel besseres Hotel für den Preis erhalten, den wir hier bezahlt haben. Auch, die Website reklamiert “Frühstück inbegriffen” aber als wir fragten, wir wurden es’ bah mmh “kontinental” Stil gesagt. Insgesamt könnte dieses Hotel sicher von einigen großen Rauchen und mehr Upgrades profitieren. Besonders die Betten!

Wir genossen uns 3 Tage im Hampton Inn Council Bluffs. Starten Sie direkt mit Kaffee und einem Cookie, wenn wir angemeldet sind. Dann half Jessica an der Front-Desk uns einen guten Pizzaplatz in der Nähe zu finden, und sie erzählte uns auch über den Shuttleservice, der überall innerhalb von 5 Meilen vom Hotel verfügbar ist. Das war fantastisch! Wir wurden in einem schönen neuen Wagen nach hinten nach dem Zoo und nach dem Old Town Market geführt. Das Frühstück hatte eine Menge Sorte, genügend zu essen und Menü verändert jeden Tag. Wir genossen, die Zeit zu sitzen an den Stühlen und Tisch außerhalb der MIssouri-Flotte. Unsere Tochter empfahl uns dieses Hotel, und wir sind so froh. Wir werden wieder sein.

Die Klimaanlage war schlampig und wurde manchmal sehr, sehr laut. Unsere Tochter und ihr Verlobter schliefen auf dem ausklappbaren Schlafsofa. Als ich versuchte, ihnen eine Decke zu besorgen, wurde mir gesagt, sie hätten keine und ich bekam ein Laken. Das Kingsize-Bett war sehr schön. Schöne Lage und an das ****** angeschlossen.

Tried to check in, but they didn't have the reservations, asked if there were any rooms available and was told no, we are sold out. Had to wait for other family members, so we went online and guess what, they had rooms available???? Made reservations and went back in, they then found a connecting room. Amazing. Later checked on the rooms and 1 was for only one night and the other for 2 nights. So I went down to the front desk and was told there were no rooms available for the next night, so one couple would have to check out. Went back to the room and again checked online and would you believe it, they had rooms available for the next night also, but it wouldn't let me reserve it because I was already there. Rather than go down again and listen to the lies, I waited until in the morning and Lisa at the front desk took care of everything.
