PlayaOlid All Inclusive

Cannot fault this hotel in any way.This was our first holiday abroad in five years and it did not disappoint.The suite was lovely and everything was in good working order,any problems we had were minor and dealt with quickly. All the staff from recently right through to the cleaners were extremely quick and efficient.A shout out must go to Fabian and Hector who always had time for a chat and seemed to always be on duty day and night.The restaurant staff were amazing especially the manager who would take time to chat and keep the young children amused. Reception were extremely helpful trying to help us when we didn't get picked up for one of our trips and we managed to rebook it with the company we originally booked with. All in all we enjoyed our holiday and would visit this hotel again.

PlayaOlid Suites & Apartments is well located in the sunny and beautiful Costa Adeje, Teneriffe. The hotel is a bit complicated building, noisy pool in the inner yard and another - more quite one - outside the complex. Music is playing loud all day 10am-6pm on the inner yard pool with numerous activities. Food in the buffet restaurant is good (we had breakfast and supper for two weeks) but the eatery space is far from enjoyable: busy, noisy and it has very bright lights. The hotel might be good for families with kids but for others would not recommend.

Stayed here for 6 nights mid January 2025. The room was cleaned once in 6 nights, the standards of cleaning around the hotel are generally poor. With no urgency to give the room a once over for guests. Had to request fresh towels from reception on 3 separate occasions. If you are looking at all inclusive options for this hotel, if you only drink beer; happy days. If you want a cocktail be prepared for a weak flavourless slush puppy. No fresh alcoholic drinks prepared on site apart from lager on tap. I could type all day about how atrocious the food was but to put it simply, you’ll more than likely find something more appetising in the bin outside 👍🏻 Basic English speaking staff are very sparse and are rude and reluctant to help, one accused me of spitting at them in the dining area after giving myself and my friend tons of abuse and Aggro in Spanish for not putting a slice of toast on a plate, extremely bizarre and not what you expect on holiday - when complaining to reception, they told me to complain to the third party booking company and they couldn’t do anything at all about our experience and held zero accountability for it. If you’re looking to come to Tenerife and want a self catering option, and spend little to no time in the apartment - it’s probably worth looking at as a last resort due to its location (5 min walk to adeje strip) However if you’re looking at all inclusive options and want a pleasant stay it would be avoid at all costs and look elsewhere or you’ll be severally disappointed and underwhelmed.

Text: Spent a week at the old apartment what a mistake, food awful even breakfast asked for an omelette it was undercooked and disgusting. The tea and coffee of poor quality and the eggs leave a lot to be desired. The drinks are watered down so much you would not bother having it, ate out and drank out every day so don’t pay for the all inclusive. The rooms are dated and stains all over the sofa bed it needs to be burnt, definitely wouldn’t sleep on it. The floor needs a good mop and the towels are shabby and old. Also each day we would lock the patio doors only to come back to the room and find them open, a thieves paradise. Finally don’t expect any help from the management or reception staff they pretend they don’t understand when they clearly do as they have to be fluent in languages to be on reception. So be warned do not book this hotel save you’re money book elsewhere.

Food so bad cold and same stuff every night . Beer watered down , pop cheap brands . Hotel up a hill . We eat out every day as it’s so bad . They don’t really clean up at night rounds the sunbed near the bar , same cups there for a few days . Cleaner took all my granddaughters nappies and went my daughter went to the reception they just laughed . Been coming Tenerife in jan for years and it’s the worst hotel I have stayed at , so many better hotel with better food and nicer hotels . Group of 9 defo not recommend to anyone

Just returned from here for a 3* hotel it is very good, its spotless, the staff are lovely food & drink are ok although we did go out for a few evening meals. An upgrade is a good idea for an extra £70 you get a full mini bar on the first day, 2 cans of coke 2 cans of orange 2 fresh orange 2 cans of beer 2 packets of crisp 1 large bottle of water & a coffee machine hot tub in room & bath robes a lounge & a bedroom plus you dont pay for a safe which is £20 a week. The only thing we found bad was nothing to do with the hotel but some hotel guest who got very intoxicated and allowed their off spring to run riot unsupervised throwing food from the pool bar around.
