Villa de Adeje Beach

We just come back from a short break at the hotel Villa de Adeje beach in Tenerife. I will try to keep this short with dos and don’ts. Villa de Adeje it’s not very bad hotel it’s in a good position with lovely views from the 4th floor and above and 5 minutes’ walk to the beach with lots of bars and restaurants around. I go direct to the rooms most if not all rooms have kitchen living and bed room all separate but we coming to the don’ts now who I find it not so good as you have to pay extra money first you have to pay for TV if you got kids or you want to watch some news absolutely disgusting this is the first time in my life on holidays the hotel charge for tv. Second you got kitchen but you have to pay for kettle it refundable by the end of your holidays, third you pay for safe fair enough every hotel charge for safe and last the most important you have to pay for WIFI or make sure you have enough DATA to use your phone as I never ask the prices the reception recommend to use your data. Go back to facilities the hotel is clean reception was good restaurant only one serving good breakfast ok lunch and ok diner don’t expect 4- or 5-star service, there is one bar by the pool serving drinks and snacks drinks only sangria is taste and beer everything else don’t bother is tasteless there are 2 pools and one for kids and to be honest I don’t like to think in the summer you been fighting for beds and you are on top of each other. 2 more thinks they make this hotel bad to my opinion there are no outside facilities to the restaurant or the mane bar to sit outside and have your food or your drink not ever smokers’ facilities. We were there Christmas time and I can say the Christmas night was very good the only day we have lovely time, the hotel provide entertainment every night some is good some is bad the bad one is all the singers they fail on BGT try to make it in Tenerife. This is my review for the Villa de Adeje beach, are we going back to this hotel no never very disappointment in many ways please feel free to ask any questions and we can’t wait till our next holiday to lovely Greece as I know where we are going and I do know we are going to have a fab time. PS beds are very comfy but pillows my neck still hurts

Arrived 30.12.24 for one wk . Upon arrival the entrance looked lovely and we were greeted by the reception staff with a very warm friendly welcome . The room we were allocated was attached to the pool side bar . The room was very dated and looked tired and would describe this as a one bedroom apartment due to the facilities . The main bar area was fine lots of seating areas and comfortable . Entertainment most nights and was ok . The food was good not a lot of choice apart from New Year’s Eve as this was fabulous but what was on offer was good food and very tasty . The eating area was clean. Location is good not too many hills and lots of shops bars eating places around the hotel . The worst thing about this hotel is the pool area . It looks very depressing and does not give you the uplifting feeling that you are on holiday . The floor is covered in artificial grass which reminded me of a cheap Christmas tree it was dreadful . Plus there are big concrete pillars everywhere . Which I feel would look better classed in mirrors with wrap around bar table and stools . The pool area also looked very tired . The best thing about this hotel is the staff , location and food . Room 411 had the most amazing view of the sea and a sunset every evening as good as Santorini but without the crowds . Loved loved that view . We didn’t pay a lot for the holiday and if this hotel was renovated it would be amazing because of the location , views and food . Big thank you to the staff who made us so welcome .

We had 2 weeks for my wife's 60th birthday. Arrived about 6.30pm. Quickly checked in by lovely reception staff. Our room(706) was a spacious studio room, I had previously requested a higher floor so not to get a basement room as reviews had suggested. Nice big room with large bed(or 2 large singles put together) a kitchen area,not that we needed it apart from the fridge, and a large bathroom with big powerful shower,we and bidet. Good balcony with a view of the mountains at the back including Teide. I would prefer a sea view which would also get the sun all day as we were in shade but I believe they're 1 bed apartments. Everything was clean, room cleaned daily. Looking at pictures before we came, the pool area didn't look very big with little room for many sunbeds, however, it was deceiving, 2 pools,the larger being about 30 yards long and plenty room for beds. We always got two if we'd been out the day. Although there are signs to not save beds,there were towels on them from early morning. A good pool bar,also doing snacks(burgers pizza etc) from 4.00. The bar area is a good size but needs more chairs as there weren't enough when busy. Entertainment every night, some good some not so! Bar staff very nice,as we're all hotel staff. We were all inclusive, and despite some bad reviews on the food we found it just fine. Always found something we liked, some good choices. Fish, chicken, pork etc. A great location with a pleasant walk down to the beach and shops. A great pub very close (the rumpot) which we visited a number of times despite being all inclusive, some great acts on there daily. There is a very nice jacuzzi, a squash court and a small gym which i used once, although this could do with a revamp as the equipment was past its best.We will be looking for a return to tenerife next year before Xmas and would definitely consider here. Returned from our holiday a few days ago staying over the U.K. half term period. Really enjoyed our week here. Value for money to bring a large family of 6 and experience all inclusive benefits. Did our research before coming and so had brought plastic cups for the pool bar with us. Thought the excursion picnic provided by the hotel as part of the all inclusive price was a nice touch and did the job. We are all our meals at the hotel, we have a couple of fussy eaters but everyone ate something at all meal times. The view from our 8th floor were amazing with sea, pool and land from the same balcony!

Let me start by saying this is my view and is unbiased, I have just returned from a ten day stay and I have to say the room we were given was amazing , beautiful views across the harbour and beyond, the room was cleaned everyday and the staff worked tirelessly to ensure standards are maintained. The chicken man was really funny and made sure everyone had a great time. Now the not so good, the food is not great , pork nearly everyday and various low cost fish options, the food I would class as budget food, we took the decision after the first day ,of eating out for the remainder of the holiday as did many other guests as we see them in the restraunts along the strip . The dining hall is in the basement which makes for a very unattractive ambience. Let me say that we did give the food every chance and we are open minded however it did not improve which was disappointing. The room made up for the food. Pool area was to small for the amount of guests.Note of caution be mindful when crossing the road outside the hotel as a lady got knocked over by a taxi on the zebra crossing, badly injured. Don't be put off by the food as this hotel is in an excellent position and will suit your needs if you need a great base .The reception staff were really helpful as was the life guard. The staff are amazing the location is brilliant, make your own mind up.

Hotel was clean and tidy. It is a very basic hotel. I would not recommend to come here with kids. There wasn't many food options to suit. The food on the other hand was better than i expected and was changed daily. There was no repeats which was good. The drinks are served in paper cups by the pool that are tiny. The cocktails were awful served from a machine. I got them to make a set on the beach by giving them the ingredients which was nice but had to be split between 2 cups as they make everything very strong! The sangria was very nice. The entertainment seemed more for the adults than to children. We didn't attend any evening entertainment to comment on these just the daytime. The hotel is in an ideal location and was a at a great cost. This hotel could be amazing if they changed a few minor things. The pool was always very clean and was a nice touch they had inflatables for everyone to use. The beds were very comfortable the bedding needs a more modern look. The cups and drink options would also help make this hotel better. We loved that the offered water in 500ml bottles not many AI hotels offer this! We stayed in room 303 even though this was below the swimming pool this still had a lovely view of the sea.
