The room is not big. And if you turn off the light, you cannot charge. 😅. But the breakfast is very good. Even much better than many hotels. The stuff is very nice. It’s ran by a family.

We were welcomed and even though we were a few family members, we were accommodated. The breakfast was great too and was just what we needed for an active day ahead. There was also the facility to help ourselves to coffee etc during the day, which was useful.

My brother and I have been staying here for about five years. Obviously we enjoy this wonderful Inn, the room is spacious, clean, beds are comfortable and a covered deck where we enjoy wine and cheese. The location is a perfect weekend location as we go to Lime Rock Park for their auto races. We enjoy going back to the Inn sitting on the deck and picking a restaurant for dinner. Our hosts Mark and Stacey; our wonderful inn keepers; let us know of any new restaurants to visit. We have our favorites, Kingsley tavern and Fife N Drum in Kent, the Village Restaurant and more in Litchfield. We enjoy the breakfast; granola and yogurt, fresh fruit salad, and delicious home made dishes. Coffee and orange juice always available. Perfect time to have great conversations with their international and US guests. We stay there twice a year on Memorial and Labor Day weekends. You will not be disappointed enjoying your stay at the Cornwall Inn with Mark and Stacey.

We stayed at the Cornwall Inn for my aunt's funeral. It was perfect. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The grounds were beautifully maintained. I would highly recommend staying there and hope to be back again under happier circumstances.

The Inn is not luxurious, but it's quaint, clean, comfortable, pretty, and exactly all we needed! We got away as a couple for one night, and we would come here again. We would also consider coming and renting the two room suite and bringing our children! It's a wonderful location AND it's affordable.

The Cornwall Inn was just a one night stop for us on our way from NYC to Massachusetts. Communication prior to our arrival was quick and clear. We arrived after check-in time, but easily found instructions and our room. The room was facing the road, but it was very quiet. The bed was comfortable with wonderful sheets! We had a great nights sleep. The continental breakfast the next morning had a nice assortment of fresh fruit, homemade bread, yogurt and cereal. The onsite manager was very friendly and helpful, pointing out a hiking trail for us before we drove north. The area around Kent is just beautiful with small New England villages dotting the landscape. Cornwall Inn would be a nice homemade to explore the area.

I loved my stay at the Kent Main Street Hideaway of the Cornwall Inn. Location was perfect. You can walk to all the restaurants, shops, and enjoy the charm, the quiet and beauty of the town. The innkeepers Stacey and Mark were always friendly and available to answer my questions and the room itself was clean, quiet, private and equipped with everything you need. Super comfortable bed, modern shower and bath. A wonderful home away from home. I would come back in a heartbeat!

The Cornwall Inn has become my home away from home. Recently sold my house in Litchfield and presently in the market searching for my forever home, while doing so I enjoy my stay at the Inn. The accommodations are clean, very comfortable and the Inn keepers, Stacey and Mark are hospitable hosts that provide excellent customer satisfaction.

The room was very comfortable, and we were able to control the temperature. Plenty of pillows and blankets. The breakfast was just great, including homemade granola, homemade banana bread, great cheese, fresh fruit and more. The owner was present and helpful. We were there in winter, but could tell the grounds and the pool would be great in season. Will stay again. Lots to do in the area.
