I am in love with their bed!! It’s the best I’ve ever slept on. So in love, I had to investigate to find out who makes their bed: it’s by the natural sleep company. I slept deliciously and I will now get a bed like that for my home. The employees were quite kind and helpful too. Clearly, from the bed alone, they invest in quality. It’s a gorgeous building and exquisitely maintained with a magnificent old world charm. I hope this gem lasts for ages and doesn’t succumb to the boring, overly modern, cookie cutter trope a lot of hotels have fallen into. I will return for sure.

Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit einem Fenster, das dem Innenhof gegenüber steht, das bedeutete, kein Fenster mit Tageslicht. Zu dem Preis, den ich gezahlt habe, würde ich erwarten, ein Zimmer mit einem Fenster mit Tageslicht. Das Spa war nicht sauber und ich genossen es überhaupt nicht. Das Frühstück war auch nicht gut. Ich werde nicht wieder bei Clayton bleiben.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, comfy room, location is great. The hotel has everything such as a pool, gym, restaurant etc. Breakfast was divine, staff very helpful. I want to thank Ryan and Maeve especially, for being so kind and friendly helping us with the bags, and recommendations about the city, and attractions. Highly recommend it and will be back for sure😊

…kann man dieses 2 Jahre junge Hotel in sehr guter Citylage ( direkt neben Bahnhof) bezeichnen . Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter ist unbedingt hervorzuheben…man fühlt sich sofort wohl und willkommen! Jung & modern spiegelt sich auch in der Loungemusik (Terrasse/Lobby/Sophie‘s Bar) wieder. Sehr gut ist das Fitness Center und der kleine Pool/Sauna Bereich…leider wegen Platzmangel ohne Ruhezonen… Was man verbessern sollte: an der Rezeption können keine Ausflüge & Touren gebucht werden …schade. Kein Kleiderschrank im Zimmer und eine kaputte Klobürste die eine Woche lang nicht ausgetauscht wurde…🙄 Lobbybar ohne Barhocker sollte man vielleicht nicht als Bar, sondern als Lounge bezeichnen… Zum Schluss positiv:: Die Dachterassenbar SOPHIE‘S im 6.Stock …TOP LOCATION innen & außens Fazit : SEHR ZU EMPFEHLEN!!! Hotel Issacs Cork City has a good center city location, close to the main sites tourists would like to see and not too far from the bus and train stations. When we were there recently, our room was very spacious, especially by European standards. There were 2 drawbacks to the property I feel visitors should be aware of, however. The first is the parking situation. The hotel has no parking of its own, but rather allows you to park in a church lot that is isn’t particularly close, for a fee. The issue is if you have even the slightest mobility issue, it will be rigorous to get your luggage to the hotel. It’s easily .3 -.4 of a mile away and you have to descend a steep incline and get the luggage down several steps to reach the hotel. Then you have to reverse the process when you leave the hotel. You are entirely on your own to handle this. There is no one on staff to assist you. When you want to enter the parking area to drop or retrieve your car or any forgotten belonging, the gate which guards the parking area is locked and you have to call the hotel to have the gate unlocked remotely. It’s a pain and especially so when the staff is unavailable to answer the phone quickly and open the gate. Right now the road in front of the property is all torn up for repairs, so possibly the situation will Improve when those are done, but that is the permanently designated parking area and there is no ‘set down’ space to leave luggage and go park. It’s enough to make us never under any circumstances return. Additionally, our 3rd floor room was not air conditioned and the sun came in at such an angle that it heated up the room until dark, which was late due to the long daylight hours. The day was only about 65 degrees F, but the room temp was 80+ and never cooled down enough to sleep well. If you visit in the summer, be aware that you will be cooked on the 3rd floor. There was only 1 available room we could have moved into and it was air conditioned, but only had a double bed, which wouldn’t work for us. All in all, we wish we’d stayed elsewhere.

Das Montenotee Hotel ist eine Erfahrung mit seiner eigenen , fantastischen Aussichten auf die Stadt , erstaunliches Innendesign, leckere Lebensmittel und professionelles Personal .. Das Glashaus ist großartig mit Qualitätscocktails und Umgebung. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer (3te Etage) war toll, über die ganze Stadt. Das Zimmer war groß und nun ja latent sauber. Im Bad gibt es eine Badewanne, mit Pressspannumrandung. Durch das permanent runtertropfende Duschwasser wölbte sich diese arg nach außen (ich habe Mal besser nicht drunter geschaut). Der Abluftventilator sollte Mal dringend dringend gereinigt werden. Das Frühstück war leider recht lieblos angerichtet und das Rührei eine Unmöglichkeit. Theoretisch wäre das Zimmer Recht ruhig gelegen, leider kommt früh Morgens die Müllabfuhr (sehr früh) und die Nachts ankommenden Gäste haben sich ziemlich unsozial verhalten (lärmende Unterhaltung über den ganzen Parkplatz). Das Hotelpersonal war freundlich, bei Nachfragen und wir durften unser Auto am Abreisetag noch auf dem Parkplatz stehen lassen (ersparte uns 9€ Parkgebühren, Danke dafür).
