I just want to commend the hotel. We were let down by another hotel and called hoping for a room.. upon arrival with our 3 year old everything was more than expected.. from the play park to the soft play area to the pool it was brilliant.. we were travelling from monaghan and the enjoyment made the trip worth while...would go again no bother

The hotel is beautiful, clean, comfy room, location is great. The hotel has everything such as a pool, gym, restaurant etc. Breakfast was divine, staff very helpful. I want to thank Ryan and Maeve especially, for being so kind and friendly helping us with the bags, and recommendations about the city, and attractions. Highly recommend it and will be back for sure😊

I will start with the couple positives.....the beds are comfortable and the front desk employees are friendly. That is about it however. Our room was a good size and the bathroom looked as if it had recently been updated. Unfortunately there was black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. The shower had no place to put the soap or any other items one usually has in the shower and the hand help shower head could only be used if one held it. (no adjustable stationary setting for a real ”shower” experience.) I went to use the bathtub and found hair around the drain. (short hair..yuck) The rest of the hotel desperately needs a facelift, painting, carpet, furnishing. My shoes stuck to the floor in the breakfast area...something needed to be mopped up. We had bed and breakfast usually a good idea but not here. The selection was poor and meager. We stayed two nights. (in for a funeral and this hotel was the only one nearby that had vacancy and now of course I know why!!!) The second day we went for breakfast at 8:30 (breakfast from 7:30-10am) and they were all out of anything but pink mini donuts and bread rolls in the bread area. I mentioned to a server that they were out of almost all options did they need to restock and she said that was it!!! All gone. Many people arrived after us so it wasn't a case of no one else showing up for breakfast. Even the water pitcher with a lone lemon slice was empty!! The section for the cheese and meat contained two slices of cheese and four of a pressed ham. The cereal section (coco puffs, etc) was just as limited and listless. In an other room next to the breakfast room you could BUY scones and croissants but they were not available to those of us with breakfast included. The manager said you can't have those because those are ”the big ones”. We have travelled all over the world for the past 40 years and I honestly have to say this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have encountered.

Einer von uns verwendet einen Kaninchen und hat sichtbare Schwierigkeiten zu Fuß. Beim Einchecken war es wahrscheinlich zu spät, uns zu einem Raum zu bewegen, das keine Treppen benötigt. In dem Frühstücksraum wurde uns jedoch ein Tisch mehrere Schritte nach unten gegeben, obwohl es mindestens ein Dutzend kostenlose Tische auf der Ebene des Bodens gab. Auch hier ist die Umgebung schön dekoriert, einschließlich eines runden Tischs mit attraktiven und unpraktischen Boxen, die es unmöglich machen, komfortabel sitzen. Jedes Hotel muss herausfinden, wie man Frühstück kostengünstig serviert, während es eine ausgezeichnete Erfahrung für die Gäste bietet. Die im Imperial verwendete ”Vogelkage” Hochtee-Typ-Sortierung muss bedeuten, dass sie nicht ausgewählte Gegenstände entsorgen. Obwohl diese Eigenschaft zu den ersten wären wir bei einem Rückkehrbesuch berücksichtigen, würden wir nicht die Frühstücksoption wählen.

I was cautious when booking as recent reviews were so bad. However, I took a chance as it was for one night and the location was perfect for me. I had a good experience with this hotel. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful, day and night staff. Great location with cafés, restaurants and entertainment in walking distance. I had a good size room with a large bathroom (with a bath). The decor is dated, but bedroom was spotless, the bed was clean and comfy and felt very safe as the door had a double lock. The bathroom a little ”scruffy”, but no mould or insects and yes, you could hear my ”neighbours” up chatting late in the night. Overall a pleasant experience.

Alles fußläufig erreichbar. Zimmer ansprechend. Betten angenehm und nicht zu hart. Badezimmer ok. Waschbecken allerdings gefühlt auf Kniehöhe und die festmontierten Duschköpfe oberhalb des Kopfes an der Wand mag ich persönlich halt nicht so. Frühstück ist vielseitig- englisch aber auch kontinental, mit Obstsalat, Müslis, Diversen Brotsorten und Belag. Der Kaffee ist suboptimal.

…kann man dieses 2 Jahre junge Hotel in sehr guter Citylage ( direkt neben Bahnhof) bezeichnen . Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter ist unbedingt hervorzuheben…man fühlt sich sofort wohl und willkommen! Jung & modern spiegelt sich auch in der Loungemusik (Terrasse/Lobby/Sophie‘s Bar) wieder. Sehr gut ist das Fitness Center und der kleine Pool/Sauna Bereich…leider wegen Platzmangel ohne Ruhezonen… Was man verbessern sollte: an der Rezeption können keine Ausflüge & Touren gebucht werden …schade. Kein Kleiderschrank im Zimmer und eine kaputte Klobürste die eine Woche lang nicht ausgetauscht wurde…🙄 Lobbybar ohne Barhocker sollte man vielleicht nicht als Bar, sondern als Lounge bezeichnen… Zum Schluss positiv:: Die Dachterassenbar SOPHIE‘S im 6.Stock …TOP LOCATION innen & außens Fazit : SEHR ZU EMPFEHLEN!!! Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer (3te Etage) war toll, über die ganze Stadt. Das Zimmer war groß und nun ja latent sauber. Im Bad gibt es eine Badewanne, mit Pressspannumrandung. Durch das permanent runtertropfende Duschwasser wölbte sich diese arg nach außen (ich habe Mal besser nicht drunter geschaut). Der Abluftventilator sollte Mal dringend dringend gereinigt werden. Das Frühstück war leider recht lieblos angerichtet und das Rührei eine Unmöglichkeit. Theoretisch wäre das Zimmer Recht ruhig gelegen, leider kommt früh Morgens die Müllabfuhr (sehr früh) und die Nachts ankommenden Gäste haben sich ziemlich unsozial verhalten (lärmende Unterhaltung über den ganzen Parkplatz). Das Hotelpersonal war freundlich, bei Nachfragen und wir durften unser Auto am Abreisetag noch auf dem Parkplatz stehen lassen (ersparte uns 9€ Parkgebühren, Danke dafür).

Das Montenotee Hotel ist eine Erfahrung mit seiner eigenen , fantastischen Aussichten auf die Stadt , erstaunliches Innendesign, leckere Lebensmittel und professionelles Personal .. Das Glashaus ist großartig mit Qualitätscocktails und Umgebung. Sehr empfehlenswert.
