We had only one night to spend in Córdoba, so I wanted to be near the Mezquita and the old Roman bridge. The Hesperia fit that bill. We reserved a room with view. Unfortunately, trees blocked the view of the bridge from our room, but we still could see across the tree-filled riverbed to the Mezquita and past Córdoba to the mountains beyond. I am glad we requested the view room, despite the trees. I also enjoyed ”people-watching” from our room, as some tour buses dropped people off nearby, and we could watch people walk along the large pedestrian sidewalk opposite the street. We treated ourselves to some drinks at the rooftop bar in the evening, too, and the view from the bar was spectacular! The mojitos the bartender made for us were fresh and delicious as well. I especially enjoyed being able to walk across the Roman bridge to the Mezquita. Even in the rain, someone was playing music on the bridge, and a passerby in front of us started dancing. The next morning, I walked back to the bridge to visit the museum in the tower on our side of the river (which was well worth the small admission fee) and the bridge area was just delightful with music and so many people out enjoying the day. The breakfast we had included was quite good, with multiple stations of foods and beverages, including a peach juice which my daughter and I loved. The room itself was clean and in good shape, with a large window facing the river and town. It originally had 2 twin beds pushed beside each other, but when I sat on mine and leaned against the wall, the bed moved, so I realized it was on wheels and it was easy to move the beds apart from each other, which was nice. A kettle was provided, so we enjoyed some tea as well as some sodas we were able to keep cool in the mini fridge. The tub was pretty deep, so my daughter treated herself to a bath in it. Also, I was surprised to find a nice restaurant in the building next door to the Hesperia. So even though the Hesperia is not on the Mezquita side of the river, we did not have to go far for a nice meal out! All in all, I can recommend this hotel for the good service we received from the front desk workers, the bartender, the housekeepers, and breakfast people, as well as for its convenient location and views.

Alles war fast perfekt. Die Lage ist im Herzen des historischen Zentrums, das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer war geräumig und komfortabel. Das Gebäude ist charmant. Es steht vor einem lebendigen Platz, aber es ist eine Art Sound-Beweis. Sehr empfohlen!

Wir waren an Weihnachten 2019 für ein paar Tage in Cordoba. Wir mussten uns bei der Ankunft beeilen, da die Rezeption ab späteren Abend bis am Morgen nicht besetzt ist. Trotz etwas knapper Ankunft im Hotel wurden wir sehr nett empfangen, und die Rezeptionistin hatte auch noch viel Zeit uns die wichtigsten Orte in der Stadt zu zeigen. Das Hotel ist sehr schön gestaltet: Historisches und modern. Schöner Innenhof bei der Rezeption. Die Zimmer waren auch sehr sauber, ABER: klein und eng. Wir konnten kaum einen Koffer irgendwo öffnen, geschweige denn den Kofferinhalt irgendwo auspacken. Etwa problematisch wenn weder Platz für Koffer und/oder Kofferinhalt vorhanden ist. So mussten wir täglich den Koffer aus einem Schrank heraus nehmen öffnen, und wieder versorgen, was jeweils in diesem engen Hotelzimmer etwas umständlich war... Da hat man so riesige Flächen wie der Patio und die anderen öffentliche Räume (wo sich niemand aufhält...), dafür sind die Zimmer zu klein. Das Bett war auch nicht wirklich gross. Den Wunsch einer zweiten Decke (inkl. Überzug) wurde uns während der ganzen Aufenthaltsdauer nicht erfüllt. Unsere Bewertung 'befriedigend' ist somit NUR auf das zu kleine Zimmer und wegen der Bettdecke bezogen. Sorry...

Super clean, quiet and with excellent firm king sized bed in central location in Córdoba for very reasonable price for the night (reserved same day). Walked from station upon arrival, about 20 minutes. Had to ask for robes and slippers, but otherwise, very comfortable and front desk honored request for a quiet room with bathtub so we were at end of hall facing courtyard. Clean bathroom with good water pressure and tub as requested. Didn't use sauna or have breakfast at hotel. Within walking distance of all attractions. Would stay in a Eurostars property again given our experience. Only stayed one night which seemed sufficient in this town.

Spent 3 nights at this hotel which is rated as 5* - a rating I don’t have any issue with. The building exterior and interior are all architecturally ‘brutal’. All surfaces are manufactured from hard materials (tile, glass, steel) - the exterior is clad in rusted steel. This type of design appeals to me so I quite liked the fact that everything had an industrial, clean cut practical feel. Location wise it sits at the end of a long well maintained park/gardens with orange trees aplenty which stretch from the railway station to the hotel and which is bordered and truncated with main roads. The downside of this is that traffic noise is evident despite the rooms being well glazed etc. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable with jacuzzi bath, two showers, double basins and separate toilet/bidet. Very helpful staff, great facilities including a nice rooftop pool, bar and sunbathing area. Breakfast was really good and well organised and there is a large enclosed courtyard which is partially covered with seating. The hotel is located within a 10 minute stroll from all the main historic attractions and extensive number of restaurants and Tabernas. Have no hesitations in recommending this hotel and would return without doubt.

The room: The room was small but I didn't come to Cordoba to sit in a hotel room; it was perfectly adequate, clean, and seemed well-maintained. The bed was quite firm, which I don't mind; but if that's a deal-breaker for you, then this isn't the right place for you. Hotel: The pool was very nice and had a nice patio area in which to sit and read or enjoy the sunshine. Pool-side service was good and very nice. The food was simple, but that was perfectly to my liking... something to tide you over until you head out to dinner. Staff: The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My Spanish is non-existent, I was relying totally on my DeepL translator app, but they were good enough in English to get us everything we needed and were very friendly about it. I always feel really bad about not speaking the language, but the staff were very friendly. Location: I was very pleased with the location. It was a quick/cheap taxi ride from the train station and then walking distance to everything I wanted to see. Each day, we spent hours walking around the old part of the city and it was nice to be able to return back to our hotel. One night, we walked to the Stadium Nuevo el Arcangel for the football match. I went running in the morning down to the river and then along and back to the hotel, which was a nice distance (~5km). Very pleasant experience in this location. I would absolutely stay here again.

Ich liebe dieses Hotelbudget und sauber. Die wichtigste schließen alle Orte von Interesse und Einkaufsstraße und Supermarkt. Alles durch Spaziergang und einfache Überschreitung. Die Rezeptionistin ist freundlich und hilfreich. Sie versucht, in Englisch zu erklären, was ich während meines Aufenthalts benötigen. Alles war gut, nur keine Kehle, um einen eigenen heißen Getränk zu machen.

Wir haben während unserer Aufenthaltszeit in Cordoba für eine Nacht im AC Hotel Cordoba geblieben. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe der Bahnhof Cordoba und ist innerhalb von 2-3 Minuten zu Fuß leicht zugänglich. Die wichtigsten historischen Standorte der Stadt sind eine gute 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Eincheckung war schnell und der Empfangsmann gab uns auch sehr nützliche Tipps im Zusammenhang mit der „Fiesta de los Patios“ und lieferte uns die notwendigen Karten zu erkunden. Unser Zimmer war auf der zweiten Etage gegenüber der Straße gelegen. Ich empfehle Ihnen, ein Zimmer mit dem Rücken zu fragen, da wir einige Lärmverschmutzung aus dem Verkehr erlebt haben, da die Straße sehr besetzt werden kann. Das Zimmer verfügt über ein schönes zeitgenössisches Innenzimmer und sehr komfortabeles Bett und ein schönes sauberes, modernes Badezimmer. Die Kaffeemaschine Nespresso ist auch in den Zimmern. Meine Frau brauchte auch Eisen, das auf Anfrage von dem Personal schnell geliefert wurde. Insgesamt genossen wir unsere kurze Aufenthalt im AC Hotel Cordoba.

Für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel war dies ein ausgezeichneter Preis für Geld. Ankunft mit dem Zug hatten wir nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß, aber nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel zu Cafés und Geschäften, vielleicht 25 Minuten vom historischen Zentrum, so dass keine lokalen Transport benötigt. Das Zimmer war geräumig und ruhig, obwohl es durch eine besetzte Straße war. Das Badezimmer war auch eine anständige Größe. Die einzige Frage war eine ziemlich hohe und breite Schranke, um in das Badezimmer/Dusche zu steigen, was für eine kleine oder unstatige Person schwierig sein könnte. Auf dem Dach war ein guter, sauberer Pool mit viel Schatten. Sehr schön, etwas größeres als der Postmarke Größe haben wir schon vorher getroffen, so eine angenehme Überraschung. Gute Wahlen für Frühstück, obwohl Cafés Minuten entfernt waren besser für Geld. Der Säuretest - würden wir noch einmal dort bleiben? Ja, sicher.

The room was brand new, the mattress, pillows and bed incredible. We shared a lovely stay there with our child and dog, and enjoyed the roof pool. We hoped the hotel had a proper bar/coffee shop but It has only a dining room for breakfasts.
