Still beautifully decorated for Christmas during my stay. Beautiful property. Only disappointment was the cafe closed an hour earlier than what the sign and web site said (2p instead of 3p). We tried to grab a late lunch around 2:20 and it was closed.

Very nice and friendly staff makes this upscale clean property very enjoyable. They offer personal touch such as free oranges and a nicely decorated game room, complimentary drinks, snack and food vouchers for Marriott Elite Members. Great views of the city with beautiful architectures and very clean area. Only issue is the bathroom water is very hot in both our rooms. But that doesn't diminish our overall experience.

The location is excellent , the hotel property is very grand and kept well. Loved the size of the rooms and the amenities of the building. The obvious cons is the lack of employees, no one picks up- operator , concierge, even in house dining said they stopped taking order an hour before the dining hours finished because they were busy. Housekeeping forgot to replenish our bathrooms with soap the second day and we couldn’t get hold of anyone on the phone, we had to go down to front desk for every request. The hotel is kept well even though you can tell it is a very old and an iconic building.
Shops and dining around were great.
We will come again for sure. Tip for people who can’t walk too much - request rooms close to the elevator, the hotel is sprawling and only one set of elevators to the whole floor . It can be a hike if you get the room further down the maze of hallways.

Lobby not easy to reach as one arrives, its on a different floir and one has ti take 2 different ekevatirs, we stilk got lost. The rooms are a labyrinth to find. Decor is outdated, we stayed fir one night and had the furthest room on the floor, nit comfortable

Start by saying the airport soap and toilet paper were better than what was provided at the hotel. The bathrooms were motel level maintained. Trying to turn on the shower resulted in almost pulling the bathtub faucet out of the wall. The water took 10 minutes to heat up everytime you needed it. Water pressure was low. The room we were in had warped floor boards and the beds slept extremely hot. The room was never swept the entire time we were there and bathrooms were dirty. Constant events going on in the hotel did not provide a relaxing atmosphere. Could hear everything in the hallway what was going on in hotel rooms. Not sure how this place is deemed family friendly. No ease of parking access to/from hotel. Only plus, staff were friendly and mostly responsive. For the price, would not recommend to anyone.

CLEAN! FRIENDLY! EFFICIENT! UPDATED! DISCOUNTS! GREAT LOCATION! GREAT RESTAURANTS AND A COFFEE SHOP IN THE LOBBY! My only disappointment was the quality of the pillows and that the mattress either needed a replacement or a topper.

Staff was terrible. Immediately greeted by valet attendant who basically mocked me for not speaking Spanish. Then the gentleman at the front desk upon check in was also very short tempered and nasty. Will never stay there again which is too bad because the rooms and beds were quite nice and comfortable. Btw, I’m a gold Bonvoy member and travel 3 weeks out of the month all over the world
