"A beautiful little hotel, I think there are only 6 rooms though. All staff were on hand for any queries and help in any way they can. During my stay it was lovely and sunny and they have an outdoor area idea for a while in the sun 😂. If you have any sort of disability and find it difficult to climb stairs this place is probably not for you, no lift in the hotel and all rooms are upstairs, the car park is at the back of the hotel with steps up to the hotel that has a hand rail but the few steps into the hotel doesn’t. I was in room 6, 3 lots of stairs to negotiate but the view was spectacular."

"Was für ein absolutes Gestein eines Ortes zu bleiben, direkt an den Banken des Sees Coniston. Besucht als Teil einer Werkreise, das Team bei Bank Ground Farm übertroffen sich und konnte wirklich nicht nach uns besser schauen. Das Essen war außergewöhnlich, wie eine gute Hauskochte fantastische Speise, die Zimmer waren luxuriös und sehr komfortabel, überall sauber und voller Charme und Charakter, und das Team war freundlich und willkommen. Wird sicherlich irgendwann zurückkehren."

"Booked to stay here as we were attending the bonfire and firework display at Coniston Sports and Social Club, and wanted to stay local, in an independent B&B. The location was spot on, a short walk to the town centre, and to the lake itself. The room was clean, and the bed was nice and roomy! A full bathroom is always nice, with a shower over a bath, just what you need after a day's walking! Tracy and Michael are great hosts, very knowledgeable of the area, and things to do, places to eat. Breakfast was a good selection of cereal/fruit/cooked items, with fresh coffee bubbling away. Parking on site is always a bonus, and would stay here again if in Coniston."
