Al Duomo Guest House

Don’t be conned by the photos . We stayed 3 nights at this place . Firstly they did not provide the family room we booked but we were out in an attic room . The smell of damp was potent and the whole place was run down with water damage stains everywhere . Dreadful condition, surprised this place has permission to rent out . I have never stayed in such. Run down poor state of repair property . Inhave photos nas videos To show . Unfortunately booking. Com would not help Me get any refund . Shower broken Dirty bags left to put rubbish in that smelt Kitchen floor filthy sticky Tv broken No water flow from taps Could not stand up in bedroom Balcony door locked coukd t open Tarpauling to keep rain out in bathroom Key lock damaged nd. Whole in door Floor /paint work all in dreadful repair . This property should not be renting out rooms don’t be taken in by the photos it is NOTHING like this ! It need to be fully renovated and cleaned .

Sono stata per una settimana nell'appartamento Al Duomo un carino bilocale per tre persone ,posto proprio in piazza Duomo vicino a un bel Mec Donald's.Il luogo è perfetto per visitare Como e le sue famose località poste sul lago.L'appartamento ha a pochi metri un grandissimo supermercato Carrefour per fare un pò di spesa e cucinare qualcosa nel delizioso appartamento che è fornito di tutto,ha veramente tutto,lavatrice ,lavastoviglie, aria condizionata,wi fi ,un grande frigorifero,ferro da stiro,e la signora Miranda (persona squisita) ci ha fatto trovare anche l'olio,il sale,lo zucchero e il caffè tra le tante cose che ci sono.I letti sono comodissimi,non abbiamo sofferto per nulla il caldo e anche se la casa è in piazza Duomo non si sentiva nessun rumore.Vicino all'appartamento ,a pochi metri ci sta l'imbarcadero e noi ogni giorno prendevamo il traghetto per andare a visitare le splendide località del lago come Bellagio,Varenna,Bellano,Menaggio,Villa Carlotta,Villa del Balbianello,villa Monastero,L'orrido di Nesso.Ho passato una splendida vacanza che rimarrà sempre nei miei ricordi più belli.Consiglio a tutti l'appartamento Al Duomo ne rimarrete molto soddisfatti come me
