Hotel service is good, breakfast is mediocre, you can eat. The facilities are a bit worn out

Die Ausstattung entspricht dem Status, das Personal war sehr gastfreundlich und aufmerksam. Probleme waren unkompliziert mit der Rezeption zu lösen. Bedingt durch COVID war das Angebot im Restaurant eingeschränkt, bei einem langen Aufenthalt und den lock downs wurde dies sehr monoton. Ansonsten hat sich wieder mal eine alte Regel bewahrheitet: Gibt es Probleme spreche mit dem Hotel oder Restaurant und es wird versucht zu helfen. —- The equipment corresponds to the status, the staff was very hospitable and attentive. Problems were easily solved with the front desk. Due to COVID, the offer in the restaurant was limited, with a long stay and the lock downs this became very monotonous. Otherwise, an old rule has come true again: If there are problems speak to the hotel or restaurant and they will try to help.

The Room is very unsecure, no extra-lock to secure the room when you are inside. Mi room was open during the night by someone else without explanation. The toilet doesn't work properly. Everything looks old in the property.

I did not like the stay at this hotel at all. Room 304 is falling apart. Old, no dresser, no space to move around, smelly and dirty bathroom. Not worth the price I paid for. I would not recomend staying at this hotel

Overall, the Hotel is wonderful, beautiful gardens and architecture is very nice. The breakfast buffe is delicious and the customer service is really good. We had a long trip and still, the receptionist kindly gave us our room at mid day instead of making us wait till 2:00 pm

This is supposed to be one of the best hotels in Cochabamba. It charges as that but it’s far from it. For starters the hotel has a sort of 2 different hotels within. The “new block” which costs 50% more than much better hotels in more expensive cities in Bolivia (Los tajibos in Santa Cruz for instance) and the “patrimonial block” which costs around the price point of the better hotels previously mentioned. This last mentioned block is standing for several decades and has never been refurbished. Everything in the room is tired and failing, in room 304 the toilet is broken, the bath tub is absolutely disgusting “yellow” and worn out, the AC remote doesn’t work, there is no sound isolation and you can’t use the work desk because the chair provided won’t fit between it and the bed. To continue the nightmare they will charge you an additional 25$ for registering a second person in your room (this is highly unusual anywhere else in the world) and the breakfast service is terrible. The restaurant, Supay, used to be good but bc they parted separate ways with the chef now it is hideous. Just so you know there is a new 4 star hotel two blocks away called Catena, they charge you 30$ less per night and everything is new and better than in this over hipped, overpriced property

A classic historic hotel in Cochabamba. Only spent one night but enjoyed its atmosphere. Great breakfast and clean rooms. The satisfaction killer was that the AC did not work in the room and it was very warm that night.
