The Titan

Great place to stop on my way right up North, Easy check in friendly helpfully staff Clean rooms with every thing you need, Good Wifi, Lots Parking, Lots hot water Single rooms are small but perfectly fine your sleeping in it not having a party. Hungree Horse next door food was fine nice and tasty and did t he job ... Over all good value

Was in the restaurant tonight (6.7.24) and 2 of the staff were rude and 100% out of order with the way they spoke to our party and also the party at the next table. One female in particular was so very rude the way she spoke to people, actually demanded 2 grown adults handed over their vapes (seriously put her hand out as if they were children) even though one of them was vaping outside & not inside the restaurant, she was so disrespectful to one of the people at our party that they left and at that point she went over to a barman & they had a laugh and a joke at the situation. Manners and customer service were defo 100% not on the menu tonight!!!!!!

We booked 2 of the single rooms as we are friends travelling from Norfolk to the Isle of Skye and just wanted a break. We were checked in by a very friendly man who said he had only been there a few months (apologies as I do not remember his name) The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. The restaurant offered very affordable meals and the staff member who checked us in got us a table for our evening meal and also breakfast. Positives - very friendly welcoming staff, fantastic value for money, comfortable bed, good parking, nice and clean Negatives - doors in the corridor do bang quite loud but this did not go on all night and I slept well.

Thought I would try this pub with my Autistic daughter and her support worker for some lunch on Friday 29th. Pub was quite noisy due to it being the holiday weekend and children being present. We were looking around for as much of a quiet spot as possible due to my daughter's sensory problems and I spotted a table that would have been suitable for her. As I attempted to approach the table, we were approached by a member of staff, who I now know to be Jack, and asked if we had a booking. I said no we hadn't and I asked if we needed one to which he replied no. I pointed to the table I was heading for and he stopped us from using it . He said he was keeping it "incase 4 or 5 people came in" and tried to direct us to another part of the pub. I said those seats weren't suitable and attempted to explain why. He wasn't listening and rather aburptly said we could sit at another table that was further up the pub, and right under a speaker, and walked away. Had he taken just a few minutes to listen, we would have explained why we were trying to find a fairly quiet spot to sit in. It should have been evident to him that one of us had a disability. My daughter is an adult who was clearly being supported by 2 other adults and was wearing ear defenders. We decided we would not eat here now and only stayed for a drink in order not to cause any upset or confusion to my daughter by turning round and leaving immediately. The service towards a customer with a disability was poor and we will not be back.

We had our son's 21st party in the function area. The staff were great and very helpful. The hall was perfectly suited for the 100 guests we had. Drink prices were great. Everyone complemented the staff and the DJ that was booked through Titan too. Great night

I turned up the night of a Christmas event to realise I had booked the night before in error, despite The Titan being full they went out of their way to find me a room. The gentleman who served me was polite and efficient despite it being obvious he had so much else to do than deal with my mistake. The room and preened is were very clean and warm with a massive tv and a comfortable bed and firm pillows. I ate at the bar and the food was quick and tasty. The bar staff were polite, quick and thoughtful despite it clearly being very busy! I will be back. Far more than expected for what I paid! Thank you for a lovely experience guys
