Danke Diana, die sehr hilfreich bei der Ankunft war. Nicht großartig: Kein Aufzug! Wir liebten unseren Aufenthalt in Hanul! Für so wenig wie 50€ pro Nacht, insgesamt 25€ pro Person, hatten wir ein großes Zimmer mit einem kleinen Wohnzimmer und einem großen Badezimmer unten und dann ein oberen Bereich mit unseren beiden Betten und sogar einem Fan! Der Hof ist schön. Alle Ein- und Auscheckung wurde ohne Kontakt durchgeführt, das Team schickte mir Anweisungen vor meiner Ankunft. Gute Lage 12 Minuten zu Fuß zur Altstadt und 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bahnhof. Nichts für den öffentlichen Verkehr als von der Flughafen zu gehen. Danke!

This was a great pick to stay. It was a bit far to walk to the centre but a taxi was 10 minutes and cost nothing. It has free onsite parking if you hire a car. You can walk to the centre, just takes 40 minutes or a bus stop is 5 minutes away. The room was a great size and it was really clean. Everything was new in the room. There wasn’t much to do in the hotel, an eating/drinking area is the most you’ll get but it’s a city break so you don’t need anything else. I’d definitely stay again. Staff spoke really good English and were really friendly. Good value for sure

After much deliberation on choosing our hotel in Cluj, we were not disappointed. We had found our hidden gem! The hotel was perfect. It was very clean Our room was well equipped and great bathroom with a wonderful power shower The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was possibly one of the best I have ever had in a hotel stay. Lots of choice, well displayed and good quality. Elena our waitress wad very cheerful and is a credit to your hotel. Thanks for a wonderful stay

Wenn Sie im wunderbaren Cluj (ganz enstpannt nonstop mit WizzAir von Berlin aus erreichbar) nächtigen wollen, dann ist das DoubleTree eine excellente Wahl. Zu Fuss lässt sich die sehenswerte Altstadt erkunden. Das Hotel hat einen grossen, schönen Rooftop Indoor-Pool, der gratis von den Hotelgästen benutzt werden kann (in Transylvanien nicht selbstverständlich). Das Frühstück war sehr schmackhaft, allerdings waren ein paar recht ungezogene Kinder am Start, die - von ihren Eltern und vom Personal ungehindert - auf's Buffet gehustet haben, das sollte nicht sein. Sie können Ihren Mietwagen direkt am Hotel parken. Unsere Junior Suite war sehr geräumig, excellentes Wlan - DoubleTree Cluj - wir kommen definitiv wieder!

I stayed at the Grand Hotel Napoca for 3 days as part of a larger delegation that arranged our accommodation there. Despite being an old hotel, it has been well renovated; the lobby, hall, restaurant, and bar all look new. The room was spacious, partially renovated, but comfortable and clean. The biggest issue was the level of service provided by the hotel staff. Upon entering the hotel, you are not greeted at reception, and the breakfast in the restaurant is very basic. Out of 4 waitstaff, only one young waitress made an effort to be attentive. The other old-school waiters do not speak English and communicate through gestures, which is quite uncomfortable. They do not but rather maintain the buffet and clean tables after guests finish. Nobody tries to bring you coffee or assist you when you ask for something. For example, when I requested hot water for my muesli, the waiter pointed to a thermos that had been sitting there for 2 hours, and the water was no longer hot. When I mentioned that to the waiter, he directed me to the coffee machine to wait in line and pour hot water myself. There is no option to have an omelet eggs made to order; breakfast choices are quite limited, with only bananas apples available. The coffee from the machine tastes terrible, so after breakfast, we decided to sit in the hotel lobby and order coffee from the bar. I received an Americano smaller than the cappuccino my husband was drinking and asked bartender to pour it into a larger cup with a bit more water because I prefer my Americano more diluted. He reacted aggressively, gave me a plastic takeaway cup to pour it myself, did not respond when I thanked him, and then started banging metal dishes loudly and expressing anger about my request. Then, a supervisor by speaking Romanian, and the supervisor kept saying calm down, calm down. Finally, a problem arose with the air conditioning, which stopped working on the last day before our departure. It even felt like the AC was heating the room to 30 degrees! We asked the housekeeper, who said another room had a malfunction, and since the ACs are connected, the entire horizontal line was not functioning. I would not stay at this hotel if it were not booked organized. The staff need serious training because, unfortunately, all the good and comfortable aspects (such as free and very convenient parking in front) are overshadowed by the subpar service of the employees who do not seem happy to serve guests.

Ich habe während einer Geschäftsreise viel Zeit im Hotel Platinia verbracht und es war fantastisch! Die Zimmer sind geräumig, modern und äußerst sauber. Das Hotelpersonal könnte nicht netter sein und wird dafür sorgen, dass Ihr Aufenthalt sehr angenehm ist. Der Reinigungsservice ist beispiellos. Ich hatte einen ungewöhnlichen Nachtschichtplan und sie konnten mein Zimmer zu ungewöhnlichen Zeiten reinigen. Das Frühstück ist großartig und die Kellnerinnen waren überaus freundlich. Ich würde dieses Hotel jedem empfehlen.
