"Once we navigated the myriad narrow streets of Clermont-Ferrand we found ourselves entering a portal that allowed us to cross the centuries between old world charm and modern comfort. Up the narrow spiral staircase (best not to have a huge suitcase to lug) we found our "flat" to be spacious, modern, and comfortable. After an early evening stroll a few blocks up to the square and dinner we enjoyed the comfortable and cozy bed for a well earned rest. In the morning we were greeted with a wonderful basket outside our door with fresh croissants, yogurt, fruit, etc. to prepare us for another day exploring France beyond Paris."

"The room was a bit small but very cozy and very close to the center of Clermont. The bed and pillow were made of Memorex foam, and we slept wonderfully! There was a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. The only thing I would add is a small refrigerator in the room, which we missed. The receptionist was a bit rude when we checked out due to a misunderstanding regarding payment."

"Durchreise ja - für eine Nacht OK. Meine Söhne haben in diesem Hotel auf der Reise in den Süden übernachtet. Dafür kann man auf allen Luxus schon mal verzichten. Es gibt einen Kostenfreien Parkplatz und die Zimmer sind IBIS-typisch klein. Verkehrsanbindung sehr gut."

"A good value budget hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Gave us directions to the tram, which was easy to navigate into the town centre. The cathedral was well worth a look and lots of pretty streets in the old town and lots of nice shops. The room was tidy, a little basic and quite small, but this is reflected in the very good price. Great for a stop off on our way to Bordeaux and plenty of parking outside which was why we chose it. There is a lovely bakery just down the road, where we bought breakfast patisserie, we also got some delicious sandwiches and cakes for our onwards journey."
