Before I get to far into this we enjoyed this hotel not a bad spot it actually should be a 5 star hotel if someone put some love into it. Staff-Fabulous View-Stunning Location-Easy Access-Easy Vibe-Nice Clean-Yes Service-Good service Great vibe watching everyone on the beach playing sports and music playing Arrival entrance-Tired-Plants growing on the room-White awning black & dirty Front desk reception-FABULOUS welcoming to the resort Next door is a fabulous marina to help with the venue as the boats come in and out as you enjoy your patio Why in the world someone has not updated this hotel obviously I will never know but hopefully someone reads this and updates the place. Food-Its ok just not a lot of love put into the food but the venue is great watching sunset WOW Furniture to dine-Its OK you just dont want to hang for a long amount of time-Tables all wobble Furniture thru out the resort-Tired Entrance via car-Tired Landscape-Tired Exterior spots for relaxing-Tired and a mess Trash area-They dont use proper trash facilities they stack the trash on the side walk with rat traps all around the area Food delivery truck-As we waited for our taxi the delivery truck for the food for the resort was emptied and then the trash loaded into the same van. We felt that the hygiene was not there. A food delivery truck should not be the trash truck. This resort needs that one person to come in and give it some love. With out spending 1 cent on construction the resort could have the exterior cleaned up and this would make this resort a 3.5 with out even trying hard. Bring in a new chef that is all about some flare and hygiene and this resort could be a 3.75 quickly.

Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal, Zimmer mit Meerblick über 2 Etagen sehr schön, gute Klimageräte in den Zimmern, Sauberkeit ok. Einziger Minuspunkt: Frühstück - ital. Frühstück grundsätzlich ok, aber Eier auch frisch grundsätzlich kalt, ab 9.30 Uhr kein S*****en, keine Eier mehr, keine Joghurtauswahl mehr für Müsli. Nur noch süße Kuchen. Frühstück geht bis 10 Uhr - Auswahl sollte bis dahin einigermaßen bleiben. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden auch wieder kommen.

Ich musste irgendwo vor einem Kreuzfahrtschlaf schlafen. Hatte einzelne Betten, sie waren ok. Es gab keine Kehle im Zimmer. Sie mussten den Lichtschalter bedienen, um die Schleifen in den Zimmern zu wechseln. Das Frühstück war ziemlich schrecklich, auch für italienische Standards. Ich würde nicht wieder bleiben.

We spent one night here and loved it. It's a small botique hotel and is family owned. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the dock where we were leaving on a cruise. We took advantage of their airport shuttle service and it was perfect. The fee was very reasonable, the driver was waiting for us when we got our bags and the ride to the hotel was very pleasant. We also opted for the prepaid dinner option they offered and it was fabulous. Coffee was available at all hours and was excellent. The breakfast buffet was very good. They also had free shuttle to the dock in the morning. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Traghetto's proximity to the Civitavecchia Cruise Terminal couldn't be better -- it's literally right across the street from the terminal gate. Also it's an easy 12-15 min walk from the Train Station - even with a roller bag. Everyone in Reception was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants, etc. The complimentary continental breakfast was plentiful and well-stocked throughout the morning -- fresh fruit, delicious pastries, breads, etc -- and the made-to-order espresso drinks were absolutely wonderful!! There's a mini-fridge in the room stocked with a few bottled water which is a nice touch. This is an older hotel and although it isn't luxurious, it's clean and comfortable and definitely staffed with wonderful people that are happy to help you in any way they can. Civitavecchia is a cute city with a daily street market, lots of small shops and vendors, and a beautiful waterfront ideal for just strolling or relaxing. I was happy that I chose to arrive two days before my cruise and I will definitely stay at Hotel Traghetto when I get a chance to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Residence Stendhal. The room was perfect. It was very large and the bathroom was well appointed. The air conditioning worked well. Our host attended to our every need. We would stay there again. The only drawback was the number of stairs to get to reception since there is no elevator. Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. We appreciated the exercise!
