Wir blieben in Wohnung 408 und es war enttäuschend. Erstens sind die Fotos auf der Website und die tatsächlichen Möbel und Dekor nicht die gleichen. In der Tat sind einige der Fotos irreführend. Die Einheit beherbergt vier Personen, aber es gibt nur drei Sitze im Wohnzimmer, so dass einer immer auf dem Patio sitzen musste. Der einzelne Toilettensitz ist kaputt, und obwohl wir es berichteten, wurde nichts getan. Die Patio-Türverriegelung ist nicht verriegelt, so dass wir uns nachts etwas unbehaglich gefühlt haben. Die Hauptschlaftür, die zum Patio führt, was ein schönes Merkmal ist, konnte nicht verwendet werden, weil es keinen Schlüssel für sie gibt. Und die Fenster brauchen definitiv etwas Reinigung. Wenn der Blick vom Patio auf dem Kanal, der zum Hafen führt, groß ist (es gibt keinen Blick auf den Haupthafen wie impliziert) ist die Vernetzung, die den Patio abdeckt, ein wenig irritierend. Aber das ist verständlich, da es als pro freundliche Wohnung angekündigt wird, aber es ist etwas zu wissen, bevor Sie Ihre Buchung machen. Das Netz stört nicht in irgendeiner Weise die Ansicht, aber es wird sicherlich dem Patio eine offenere Gebühr geben, wenn es kein Netz gibt. Also meine Empfehlung, wenn Sie nicht mit Haustieren besuchen, suchen Sie eine andere Wohnung in PWA. Die Umgebung und Lage ist großartig.

Waren nach 3 1/2 Wochen SA Tour in Durban. Sehr gut, dass wir uns für das Belair entschieden haben. Lage: an der Strandpromenade, 600 m nördlich liegt in auch abends sicherer Fussweite (5-10 min.) das Suncoast Centre (Hotel, Foodstall, Havanna Grill Restaurant). Nach Süden ist man sofort im belebtesten Teil der Strandpromenade, dem angenehmsten Teil von Durban City. In der Innenstadt sollte man sich - sagen wir mal - sehr bedacht bewegen, sicher nicht bei Dunkelheit. Bis hier sind es ca. 10 Autominuten. Wir empfehlen, ein Taxi/Fahrer zu nehmen, das zu den wichtigsten Spots fährt, das ist eindeutig am stressfreisten (das Hotel hat Kontakt). Zimmer: hatten De Luxe Room (40m2) im 9. Stock. Atemberaubender Blick auf den indischen Ozean, kein Balkon, dafür Fenster zu öffnen. Alles vorhanden, sehr gutes Bad, Fridge, Safe, Sitzmöglichkeiten, Top Betten. Frühstück: umwerfender Blick vom 11.Stock, man kann auch draussen sitzen. Frühstück selbst ist auch erste Klasse, Buffet plus warme dishes, erstklassiges Omelette. Service: 1a. Sonstiges: sichere Parkplätze hinterm Hotel für 65 R. WLAN kostenlos. Im EG gute und auch besuchte Bar mit Happy Hour 17:00-18:00, buy 1 get 1 free. Fazit: ganz klare Empfehlung für Durban !

GGastnutzerMy first time at this hotel. Very disappointing. Lets elaborate: 1. The initial meeting when checking in was very pleasant, but unfortunately dealing with the morning crew was just painful. L*nd* was just plain uninterested when I asked about room options, I almost got the impression that he was being spiteful because I was taking up his time. No*iph* was also unpleasant to deal with. Even though I am a gold member she just demonstrated a rigid attitude to any of my requests. Thanks to Basheer who I escalated to and who upgraded and even discounted my parking. 2. It seems that unless you escalate even a simple thing like requesting a towel to a duty manager then it doesnt happen. We were ignored when we asked for liquid soap and a replacement iron and only received towels after escalating. Thanks to duty managers both named Andile for supporting me in this regard but these are really not things that I ask for that require begging. Overall this hotel didnt make me feel like a gold member or like someone who visits Durban on average 8 times a year and is always looking for a hotel. It seems that its only Hilton by name and soap products and not by culture. I would like the Hotel GM to contact me to discuss how this hotel will actually make me feel like a (Gold) guest going forward.

TTraveldairies.A good place to be with a beautiful view.... ”The View” as its name . Closer to a shopping complex , gas station, 5min drive to the beach, closer to the beach there also restaurantswhere you can dine whole having the beach view, Toti Beach. its also closer to galleria Mall.
The place is too steep so be ready for that... Their food is delicious, we had dinner there at their restaurant called Giorgios but its expensive I must say. Not sure about their breakfast and lunch though.
Staff and reception is just ok. I had requested them to add a crib bed for a child and upon arrival they told us that the storeroom is closed because we arrived at 6pm so it's too late.
We then asked them to give us atleast a bedsheets or any linen so we can make a plan for our son, they said ok but never pitched , nothin, not even getting back to us to say what could be the matter. We asked again the following day, they took four hours to bring a bedsheets.
Bottom line is if you have a child do not, I repeat DO NOT book that place because they will lie straight to your face saying they could not reach you since you booked via an APP.
I'm not sure whetherI want to talk about their kitchen in the rooms. You will have to call them now and again to bring things and they take 3 to 4hours just for a simple thing like a spoon.
One thing I can say is they don't listen and listening means you respect your business and your clients
I flew from overseas to rest and have a good time and have treat ourselves since they have a spar but I ended up canceling my plans for a spa because I didn't want additional dissapointments.
The rest I don't even want to mention...and that is my experience after paying so much Money and looking forward to a good vacation 😌 BUT...

Ich mag das Restaurant/ Zimmerservice-Menü nicht besonders, da es nur Milkshakes auf ihrem Getränkemenü hatte. Sie müssen über andere Getränke wie Wein, Saft, Kaffee usw. fragen. Es wäre schöner, wenn alle Getränkepreise aufgelistet würden. Die Kessel in meinem Zimmer war schmutzig, aber Hausaufbewahrung und der Vordertafel waren entschuldigt und ersetzte sie schnell mit einer sauberen Kessel. Jedes Café oder Restaurant um das Hotel öffnet sich bei 9a.m, so empfehle ich Ihnen, für das Frühstücksbuffet zu bezahlen, wenn Sie ein früher Vogel wie ich sind. Ich habe von Ladevorrichtungen gelernt, nachdem ich von einem Tag aus zurückgekommen war und keine Kraft außer einem Licht und dem Fernseher in meinem Zimmer gefunden. Für ausländische Gäste, die es nicht wissen, könnte es ein schöner Kontakt sein, wenn das Hotel den Ladezeitplan in den Gästezimmern platzieren könnte, so dass es nicht als eine unweltbedingte Überraschung kommt. Das Bett war komfortable und das WiFi war normalerweise schnell. Insgesamt hatte ich einen guten Aufenthalt im Hotel.

This is a comfortable business hotel. Rooms are decently sized and bathrooms are okay too, the washbasin is a small one though. Couple of bummers : Gave one glass bottle of water, replenishments were in the form of plastic bottles. If you ask for the same glass bottle (which I do because of environmental reasons), they don't give it. Breakfast was very decent and overall service was good. A big issue is that they dont have room service for food. They have only beverages that can be ordered to your rooms! The reason is 'we have many restaurants around us'. I found this to be funny. Hotel is well located and opt for higher floors for good views.

GGuest UserI'm sorry but this place may look nice on pictures and superficially nice but everything is cheap and service is quite poor. The plastic wood everywhere is tacky, windows are so thin you hear all the traffic on the roadside while on the yard side there is LOUD partying til very late. The staff assured me it would stop at 23, but this was not true, it continued til 2 am. The staff in reception seems truly clueless at most things, this is probably because they have no training and hardly any salary. The poor manager on duty seems to constantly have to rush and make right the various mistakes made, she seems to do nothing but apologise all day to costumers. The owners of the hotel clearly prioritise their own pockets over providing service. A few examples of cheapness: 1.No folder with information in the room - I am referred to the website. The tebsite says iron and ironing board in your room. I looked and looked, couldn't find it. I called reception and they said I can fetch it from the lobby (another hotel would have brought it to my room...). I went down to lobby, carried the ironing board up in the elevator etc. to my room and then found the iron to be old and dirty, it dirtied my blouse and the steam function didn't work properly there was just a lot of water coming out, leaving water stains on my other top.... Just replace the iron when it is old? If a guest calls, deliver the iron and board to the room? Change the information on the web... not so difficult things if you want to make a good impression.. 2.My collegue had a paid and booked transport to the airport that had been forgotten by the staff despite that he reminded them a few hours before and they ensured him it was settled. Once it was due - no transport. He nearly missed his flight. The poor manager lady had to book an uber for him and give him cash... 3. I gave them laundry one morning, thinking it would be finished by the evening or the next day, like all other hotels. By next evening it was not finished (it was 3 small items, no dry cleaning). They seemed to be looking for it as if they had lost it. When I was checking out 2 days after handing in the laundry, the woman in reception admitted one of my tops had been lost... When I complained about this and point 4 below, they did offer compensation, but I had to send a recepit of a new top and fill in forms etc. hassle. 4. After a long week of work staying at this hotel I was looking forward to sleeping 8 hours until leaving on Saturday. The Friday partying however started already at 4 pm with a DJ. I had the room facing the courtyard and asked the manager how long the partying would continue. Oh we have a curfew at eleven in Durban, she said, it will definitely be quiet after that! I’m not from South Africa so I believed her and felt OK I can sleep from 11 to 8 am, that’s OK. My room turned out to be just above the party and it felt like it was IN my room. I was trying to finalise my work from 21.00 to 23.00 with the boomi

CcornflakeDas Hotel ist super praktisch, gegenüber der Shopping Mall, es gibt ein sehr gutes Steak vor der Tür, und das heimische Circuscircuscafe öffnet um 7 Uhr, das Frühstück ist sehr lecker. KKash2309The resort has good facilities although there is no longer access to the nature reserve. The rooms are dated. Bath tubs seem to be from the 1990s. Furthermore, there are several rules and restriction’s about use of facilities, visitors and room allocation which are subject to management’s discretion. Some rules are enforced by smooth talking security guards who can ‘help you avoid a hefty fine’ for a small service fee. I understand the importance of rules in running a large resort however leaving their enforcement to the discretion of *****s is even more dangerous.
