Wir waren im Zimmer IIWI, welches sehr liebevoll und schön eingerichtet war. Alles war sehr sauber und schön. Ausserdem gab es viele Handtücher und sogar Seife und Schampoo. Die Atmosphäre der ganzen Anlage ist wunderbar. Der Gastgeber ist äusserst freundlich und nett. Das Frühstück, das im Zimmer bereitgetellt wurde, bestand aus sehr leckerem selbstebackenem süssem Brot und Früchten, Kaffee, Fruchtsaft und Tee. Das Hotel ist direkt am Eingang des Natioalparks und neben den Restaurants. Wir empfehlen es unbedingt weiter und würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen.

I give Kilauea Lodge a 5/5 until today when my husband & I were packing up to leave. The lock system for the doors is a code that is entered to open the door from a built in lock system linked to the door. I had just showered & was packing my bags & my husband was showering. The lock on the door was unlocked & the door was opened by a staff member. There was no knock or announcement of this happening. I was startled & clarified about check out being 11am. The staff member stated they were told to move stuff in our room. I questioned that & they then realized it was the wrong room. I was shaken by this incident & immediately let their text system know. Of course they apologized & offered free breakfast. We were not interested in that, we just wanted to make sure this unfortunate incident never happened again. We were also told the GM would be notified. Staff members are trained to knock & announce when opening a door (even when knowing the room is vacated; which our room was not). This did not happen. We suggested a lock should be set up on the inside of the door for the occupants to use to avoid this accidental incident. We hope this precaution will be installed.

Liebe unser Aufenthalt! John hat sichergestellt, dass wir nichts wollen! Unsere Unterkunft war sauber, komfortabel, gemütlich und perfekt für meinen Mann und ich. Das Frühstück im Zimmer war der perfekte Weg zum Beginn des Tages und dass Kona Kaffee war nur die richtige Mischung von warm und wach! Die Art und Weise, wie jede Unterkunft von dem umliegenden Regenwald privat gemacht wird, war etwas, das wir wirklich geschätzt haben. Es war eine perfekte Art und Weise, sich mit Privatsphäre auf unserem Deck zu setzen und die Zeit, um nur die Klang der Natur zu genießen, zu entspannen. Die Dekoration und die Einrichtungen machten unser Aufenthalt komfortabel und die Unterkunft ist nur wenige Minuten vom Volkan Nationalpark entfernt. Dieser Ort ist wirklich speziell und ein Aufenthalt in Ihnen ist in der Gegend!

We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast. It is minutes away from the Volcano National Park and not far from other attractions like Hilo or Papakolea Green Sand Beach. My husband and I stayed in the Ohia Ranch room. The location was quiet and private with lots of animals (goats, sheep, donkey, ducks, hens, etc.). It was fun to sit out on the balcony and watch the animals (or go down and pet them). The king bed was very comfortable and had a heated blanket on it as an option. There are lots of windows for great sunshine. Every morning, Theresa would bring a delicious breakfast to the room per your request/order. There is a table/chairs in the room to eat; plus the balcony has a small table. The breakfast omelets were incredible. Theresa also has many extras in the room like beach towels, robes, slippers, picnic basket, heating rack for towels and drinks. The information book had lots of ideas of where to go along with restaurant suggestions. We found all of them incredible. She also sent detailed instructions to get there. Overall, Theresa was a warm and wonderful host who helped us with any questions and offered great suggestions.

Die Hütte ist ca. 1 km vom Studio entfernt und fährt sehr schnell. Das Auto kann auf dem offenen Platz vor der Tür geparkt werden, die Kabine ist sehr sauber, das Wohnzimmer ist beheizt und der Deckenventilator läuft. Es scheint, dass der Temperaturunterschied zwischen den Bergen und dem Wald sehr hoch ist. Es gibt auch eine chinesische Familie, die zusammen bleibt. Es ist nur so, dass jeder chatten kann und sich nicht zurückgehalten fühlt. Das Zimmer ist nicht groß, die Toilettenartikel im Bad sind sehr komplett. Glücklicherweise gehört das Zimmer im Obergeschoss unserer Familie. Niemand teilte sich das Badezimmer. Ich habe schon gesagt, dass dieses Haus seit hundert Jahren gesagt wird. Es kann so gehalten werden. Es ist schon sehr gut. Es gibt Supermärkte und Restaurants in der Nähe, man muss rausfahren, der Preis des Supermarkts ist etwas hoch, das Abendessen besser direkt im Restaurant lösen, Frühstück kann man im Supermarkt kaufen, also die Küche des Holzhauses ist nutzlos. Wenn Sie auschecken, werfen Sie den Schlüssel einfach direkt in den Türbriefkasten und jemand wird ihn reinigen.

My husband, daughter, and I stayed here for two nights during a recent trip to the big island and volcanoes national park. The room was comfortable, clean and very well apportioned. We had a gorgeous patio space overlooking the garden that we definitely took advantage of. The breakfast that was provided each morning was delicious and I loved that they had coffee, tea, popcorn, Ramen noodles, and a few other things available for grabs if you got hungry or thirsty at any time. while the place was a little hard to find when we arrived after dark and in an intense fog, it turned out to be incredibly well located. Just five minutes from the park and very close to two different delicious restaurants and a convenient store. The only thing that could have made the stay better was having clearer directions on what to do upon arrival. We got there around 7 PM and the lights in the main area were off and no one was there! We weren’t sure if we were intruding on someone’s private house when we walked in the door and turned on the lights. A quick phone call to the owner confirmed we were in the right place. We would totally stay here again. Loved it!
