GGastnutzerIt was wonderful to have 6 EV charging stations at this motel. Even though it was only 7.3kW/hr, it is free and enough to make a huge difference on travel. I booked this location specifically for the EV charging feature. I used the J1772 charger.
The breakfast was standard continental breakfast and nice to have yogurt and fruit.
The only thing I would do differently is to request a top room floor. We were on the second floor and they do have high ceilings and large rooms, but the party above us was thumping on the floor, ie feet were running. We were in room 201 and I went up to 301 at 1030pm to talk to them. I told them we were getting ready for bed and it was pretty loud as they were right above our room. Although English clearly wasn't their first language, they said ”oh sorry!”. I thought it would start to get more quiet, but lasted until 12:30 am. Honestly, the rooms were dark with the shades closed and if they would have just turned out the lights, there would be absolutely no way anyone could be running around in the dark.
That was the only thing negative was the walls/ceilings might be a little thin, but I guess it depends on your neighbors and again, my request would have been a top floor to avoid this next time.
Beds were very comfortable, check in easy. And again.... Loved EV charging on site. Thank you!

Sie bieten ein Waschzimmer für Gäste, das für uns groß war, waschen zu machen, als wir von einem nationalen Park in einen anderen gingen. Kundenservice war sehr freundlich, als wir die Kontrolle gemacht. WiFi war das beste bislang in unserem Zimmer. Ein großer Aufenthaltsort, wenn Sie in der Gegend oder zwischen nationalen Parks sind.

Wir besuchten Buckley, Tacoma und Seattle während unserer Reise und dieses Hotel war nicht mehr als 20-30 Minuten am längsten zu jeder Ort, zu der wir reist. Das Personal war alle so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten absolut keine Beschwerden. Ihre Covid Vorsichtsmaßnahmen waren angemessen und hatten keine negativen Auswirkungen auf die Erfahrung. Sie benötigten Reservierungen, um den Pool zu nutzen, aber wir konnten den Pool zu den Zeiten, die wir wollten, einfach nutzen. Das kostenlose Frühstück war GREAT! Das Frühstücksbetreuungspersonal füllte die Behälter mit entweder geschroteten Eiern oder vorgefertigten Omelettes, Sauce oder Bacon oder beides und eine Kuchen, sie hatten auch Kaffee, eine Auswahl an Saft, Milch, Joghurt und Muffins. Es war reichhaltig, bequem und zufriedenstellend. Angesichts der meisten anderen Hotels in der Gegend entweder völlig vergab ihr kostenloses Frühstück oder nur das kontinentale Frühstück mit keiner heißen Option bot das war hervorragend. Wir werden absolut zurück!

GGuest UserIch möchte zunächst sagen, dass ich in diese Bewertung ein wenig verwirrt werde. In meinen 40+ Jahren Reisen, habe ich nie ein Hotel oder Motel gesagt, dass ich meine Belohnungen nicht verwenden kann. Aber in diesem Fall wurde mir gesagt, die Punkte können nur für “Standard Zimmer” verwendet werden und alle ihre Standardzimmer wurden reserviert. So ging ich vorwärts und bezahlt für ein ... nicht-standard Zimmer??? . Nun, ich kam zu meinem Zimmer und schätze, was - es war nur ein Standard-Motelzimmer. Es gab absolut nichts Besonderes oder fehlerhaftes mit diesem Zimmer. Mit diesem und aus dem Weg, hier sind die positiven Aspekte meines Aufenthalts. Die Anlage ist etwas neu und es war sauber (der weiße Geruch hang schwer in der Luft). Das Personal war freundlich, aber nicht unbedingt freundlich. Das Bett war mittelgroß fest und es gab viele Kissen. Das kostenlose Frühstück war ziemlich gut. Binnen 150 Meter vom Hotel waren zwei Restaurants ... das Essen im Pho Restaurant war wirklich gut. Jetzt für einige Nebenwirkungen ... (1) für alle Sie leichten Schlafer, war das ein lautes Motel. Obwohl wir in einem Zimmer auf der Rückseite des Motels mit einem leeren Teil konfrontiert waren, konnten wir immer noch den nahe gelegenen Verkehrslärm hören. Außerdem können wir Gäste in ihrem Zimmer und im Halle sprechen hören. Wir können auch die Fußgänger von oben auf dem Boden hören. (2) Dieses Motel befindet sich in einer nicht so schönen Lage von Tacoma ... Sie schließen sogar die Frontlobbytüren nach bestimmten Stunden, so dass Sie Ihre Zimmer Schlüsselkarte verwenden, um in die Lobby zu gehen und den Aufzug zu betreiben. Verbunden mit der Lärmfrage ... Ich habe ein paar Schusswaffen bei ca. 3 Uhr gehört.

The hotel is undergoing quite a bit of construction/renovation, but that was not an issue for me as I was only there for 1 night as I was attending P!nk's concert at the Tacoma Dome. The hotel was an easy walk from the Amtrak station. Check-in was very smooth. Jose, the person who checked me in, was super warm and friendly. He was efficient and communicated clearly everything I needed to know for my stay. The hotel is very clean. My room was very spacious and modern. This was such a nice change from another hotel I stayed in about a month earlier in Richmond, VA. I did take advantage of the free hotel breakfast the next morning, and I was impressed by the offerings. It was much more than just cereal, bagels, and juice. There was all of that and then some (e,g, hot bar, assorted pastries, selections of juices and types of milk). Checkout was also a breeze, and the young lady (I didn't get her name) assisting me was lovely. The room rate was elevated because of the demand from out of towners coming to Tacoma for P!nk's 2 night stand at the Dome. I met quite a few other hotel guests that were there for the concert. However, the ”regular” room rates seem to be an excellent value for what the hotel offers. Once the renovations are complete and things such as the fitness center are back in operation, it'll be an even more excellent value for the dollar. I look forward to coming back soon for a weekend getaway to explore Tacoma.

KkitsuanddateWe stayed in the Cottage just 1.5 miles from the main motel. It was a delightful cabin! Immaculate and well equipped, comfortable bed and a cozy fireplace. The privacy was the best part, well, except when the 15+ elk greeted us steps from the porch one morning! :-) The location is great, close to Mt Rainier entrance. Don't miss the hot tub-it's the perfect private spot to relax. (There's also a huge fire pit with seating by the Grill) Got a pizza from there and it was very good. Friendly and efficient staff made check-in & out easy. Tasty latte in the office, thanks Raven. Special thanks to Jennifer, she went the extra mile on more than one thing for us.

Das Personal war freundlich, sorgfältig, und hilften in so vielen Arten mit allen unseren Bedürfnissen Wir hatten tolles Essen, und hatten so viel Spaß im Ballzimmer zum Tanzen .

We went into our stay at the Gateway Inn with very low expectations after reading all the reviews here. We were more than pleasantly surprised when our experience was just the opposite. We had reserved this using points and from the time we reserved until our actual stay, the price went down 4 times so we ended up booking two nights for only 31,737 points. They emailed us AND called us the day we were to arrive to let us know that if we came after 6 pm, there would be instructions posted on the outside office wall. It was there, just as they said it would be. We stayed in cabin 28 with was very spacious and clean. It had two queen beds, a chair, a desk with chair, a large dresser and TV, 3 nightstands, 2 benches, 2 closets and a small kitchenette area with a microwave, coffee pot and mini frig. The absolute best thing was the bathroom which had its own heater and 6 hooks on the wall. When we came back from hiking with soaking wet clothes, shoes and fanny packs, we put everything in there, turned the heater to 80 and closed the door. We woke up to perfectly dry things! It is located pretty much AT the gate to Mount Rainier so going in at our appointed time was a breeze! When we needed more towels and a blow dryer, they took them right over to the cabin for us while we went to eat dinner. The WiFI worked great and we were all about to connect. We didn't try the TV but that's not why we were there. We were able to park right in front of the door for easy unloading and loading. I really don't have one negative thing to say about this place and am so thankful that our experience was a great one.

The pictures make it look much better than it actually is. I know that Days Inn is not a high caliber property regardless of where you go but I have stayed at more than a dozen Days Inn properties as well as hundreds of nights at other Wyndham properties. This motel though was the worst experience we've had. It started with the check-in counter being so high and the woman working behind the desk. I couldn't see her or understand what she was asking me to do. We had to sign a form stating they would charge us for all damage in the room and if we found damage we were to report it first so they didn't charge us. Our room was dirty. The floor under the desk had dirt and garbage in it, and the bathroom had built up scum and stains on the tub. Our ceiling had a giant hole cut in it with an access panel that didn't cover it. The bathroom door had a hole kicked in it and the towel bar was falling off the wall. The bed was uncomfortable, the blankets VERY thin and only 3 pillows which is odd for a King Size. The towels were stained and we had to ask for more towels as we stayed for 3 days. The booking site said they do housekeeping every day and our room was never cleaned, and when we asked for more towels they insisted we bring the dirty ones down before they would give us new ones. And they don't even give you hand soap. We had to ask for it and they said they only have body wash (which also wasn't in the room). Every day when we came back our key card didn't work. There was no breakfast as advertised. The pictures make it look like a buffet but the only thing in the closet they call a breakfast room was stale sugar filled danishes and Kirkland chocolate chip granola bars. This hotel is not even worth the price they're offering it for. I will never stay here again
