The bad reviews I read prior to going made me concerned. I was shocked and thrilled that my experience was nothing like the reviews. While my room could use some cosmetic updating, it was extremely clean and was well equipped. The staff was exceptional and the free breakfast had a lot of options and was very good. I will definitely stay again. In fact I rebooked a room for this Saturday night.

I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars, but some things made that not possible. Tony, at the front desk, was great. He was professional, accommodating, even answered the phone immediately, when we called down with a question. Hotel is clean and well kept so no issues there. It’s not the JW so travelers, go there with a realistic view. The reason why I couldn’t give the place 5 stars comes down to three things 1) what hotel outside a major city charges for parking? This hotel has a $10 per day charge. We are in the middle of the suburbs way outside Philadelphia so why is there a parking fee? 2) there are no usb charger ports. Looked around the desk etc and couldn’t find any. It’s 2022, and should be standard. 3) the room door slams shut and can be heard down the hall. We had some late arriving neighbors and early departing neighbors and when the door closes, it woke everyone up. Simple fix with tension on door, but it’s the little things that make all the difference to be 5 stars, at least in my book. Would definitely return, overall it was a very good stay, my 5 stars are reserved for amazing hotels, which I have reviewed in the past. This is still above par and with a bit of fine tuning can certainly end up with 5 stars.

Das schmutzigste Teppich, das ich je gesehen habe. Nicht sicher, wie dieses Hotel offen ist und diese Zimmer mit dem aktuellen Zustand vermieten. Bleib weg Zimmer 213 Stock ist schrecklich, Klimaanlage Rattles, Zimmer 211 wir bewegt, weil der Klang von der Ak-Einheit so schlecht war und überall Farben. Es ist zu spät, um zu versuchen, ein anderes Hotel zu suchen - dieser Ort muss für ein paar Monate geschlossen werden und re machen die Böden und Ac-Einheiten. Lebt NACH jedem Hilton Standard überhaupt. Heißrohr war während des ganzen Wochenendes nicht betrieben. Waffelmaschinen gebrochen und nicht zum Frühstück verfügbar. Kaffee- und Teemaschinen wurden nicht voll oder heiß gehalten. Vielleicht brauchen wir ein neues Management?

Der Service am Front Desk war sehr hilfreich und die Leute waren nett und verstanden, wie wir die Reservierung im letzten Moment wegen des Drohnens, um zu einer Beerdigung zu kommen und das Datum falsch gemacht. Sie haben alles angepasst, so dass wir die beiden Nächte bleiben können, obwohl wir um 2:00 Uhr eingereist sind. Nicht alle sind so nett und ich schätze es sehr. Wir suchten nur einen einfachen sauberen Ort, um mit meinem Hund zu bleiben. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Sie sorgten dafür, dass ich in der Nähe der Treppe mit leichter Zugang zu einem Bereich, um meinen Hund sich zu entspannen. Es gab ein TV, eine kleine Maschine, Kaffee zu machen und ein Mini-Kühlschrank. Wegen der Kotze ist ihr Frühstücksbuffet nicht, aber sie haben eine Kaffee- und heißes Wassermaschine und sie haben heiße Frühstückssandwiches, die Sie beantragen können und dann heißen. Wenn Sie mit Ihrem Hund reisen, ist es gut zu wissen, dass es einen Seitenwandel vor dem Hotel und Sie können Sie für einen anständigen Spaziergang auf einem Leash trotz der Straße ein bisschen beschäftigt nehmen. Ich möchte auch erwähnen, dass das Hotel eine nette Bricka draußen hat und ist wieder vom Weg genug, um Zimmer ruhiger zu sein.

On the positive, the staff is excellent and although an older property, it is maintained decently. The elevator closest to the lobby would be in the mix for world's slowest. Around the corner in the back is a much faster one that obviously has been updated. It is worth the extra steps to reach it. So, are you a ”light sleeper.” The staff says light sleepers don't like the rooms situated closest to the adjacent train with a frequent and obnoxious train whistle that blasts through night. Once passenger trains sleep, there are still freight trains, a la 2 a.m. We switched the second night to a quieter room. It still was not exactly quiet. Keep the fan running, or stay elsewhere. Unless of course you sleep through everything. The train sound would be okay but for the persistent really annoying horn.

From booking to checkout this was an excellent experience. The facilities were exceptionally clean. Our room was well equipped, quiet and relaxing. King size bed was very comfortable, and just firm enough. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and both times we used them there was no one else there. Plenty of fluffy towels on the shelves nearby and great lounging furniture. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Not sure how they got the bacon that perfect, but glad they did! The history of this facility is amazing. Lots of converted buildings that make it feel like you’re staying in someone’s luxurious home. Highly recommended!!

Lage des Hotels ist gut

A friend booked this hotel stay. One of the worst hotels I stayed in. Initially we were very surprised at the dilapidated condition of the property itself (in comparison to the price rate). As we decided to make the best of the situation for our 2 days stay we were more disappointed by the room and service. The room was gloomy/no curtains/barely clean. Our bathroom bathtub water drain did not empty properly. We had to call the front desk. The same person that checked us in came to empty the drain. Apparently, they have no staff to accommodate guests. She was very fake and pretentious with excuses. Don't bother with the morning breakfast as they only serve artificial processed wrapped food items. The next day we were out all day to return to a room that had never been cleaned by housekeeping. Again, we called the front desk to complain and were met with the same pretentious fake front desk person; trying to dismiss the problem regarding the lack of service. We were told ”housekeeping” forgot to clean. We said this was unacceptable. We were met with the excuse that housekeeping had already left for the day. Obviously, a lie since they probably have NO staff. We were told someone would bring clean towels and linens to the room. It seems like the rooms are only re-arranged when a guest arrive to give an appearance of cleanliness. I didn't appreciate the performative fake behavior of the front desk lady regarding this matter. Bottom line one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Choose better.
