Finde Hotels in Montgomery County

I'm giving this property 3 out of 5 Stars strictly for their staff. They are the only asset this place has going for it. They are warm and welcoming and professional. The property itself has been falling apart for years and it's been doing this for at least the last 18 years I've been coming here. The doors are scuffed. The walls are scuffed. The carpet is sticky. When I'm not outside. I wander around bare feet on these carpets. I have to come into my room and clean and sanitize my feet. The door handles don't always work, sometimes you have to push them up. Sometimes you have to push them down to make them work. When I got into my room, the connecting door to the connecting room next to mine was completely unlocked with no safety gear on it. I opened up my side and tried the other side and realized I could simply walk into that room anytime I wanted which meant they could get into mine. This means this is a serious safety issue The hotel receives an awful lot of noise off of the freeway, which wouldn't be a problem if they had soundproofing. Usually in these circumstances you leave the fan on your air conditioner on to cover up the noise from the freeway. However, you can't do that here. Every time the fan kicks in to keep the room reasonably comfortable, it turns on with a screaming wobbly sound, which is guaranteed to wake you out of your sleep. The computer was broken in the business center so I couldn't print anything and when I tried to email it to the front desk that didn't work either. The Vandelia property near here is only $20 to $30 more and believe me you will get a much better night's rest there than here. Hilton should be ashamed of themselves leaving this property to deteriorate. It is the one closest to the airport and it's certainly past its prime.

For the priced paid, hotel is excellent, check in was a breeze, friendly staff. Breakfast could have a little more variety, (for example some bananas or oranges)but for a quick bite it does the trick. Hotel is close to the aiport. Overall, place is oK.

Ich blieb hier, weil es auf meiner Route war, und es akzeptiert Haustiere. Zum Preispunkt ist dieser Ort ein Dump. Ich wartete 10 Minuten in der Lobby, indem ich mich selbst wartete, um zu prüfen (es war 6 Uhr, also nicht spät.) Kein Gewerkschafter, niemand um. Ich rangte die Uhr ein paar Mal auf den Desktop. Keine Antwort. Als der Vorderdesk-Agent endlich auftauchte, sagte sie mir, sie sei „beschäftigt im Rücken. ” ? Der ganze Ort ist alt und braucht große Aktualisierung. Sieht schön aus der Außenseite, aber ist alt und laufen ins Innere. Der Aufzug und das Zimmer sind klein und dunkel. Der Aufzug riecht wie **** (viele), und das Zimmer ist wie Stachelfett gefüllt. Ich nehme an, die Person vor mir von den McDonalds nebenan gegessen und der Geruch hatte nicht verschwinden. Glücklicherweise hatte ich in meinem Auto Luftfrischschlauch. Es gab eine Mikrowelle und einen Kühlschrank im Zimmer, aber der Kühlschrank war völlig aus. Mein Computer würde nicht mit dem WiFi verbinden, so dass ich nur mit meinem Telefon gefangen war, aber es war nur ein Übernachtungsverbleib. Ich habe auch den Stuhl in den Raum bewegt, um hinter ihm zu schauen, um herauszufinden, wo meine inquisitive Katze sich entschieden hatte, zu verstecken, und es gab ein gebrauchtes Handtuch hinter dem Stuhl. Sie bewegen natürlich nicht die Möbel zu reinigen, so dass wer weiß, wie lange das war? Ich denke, die Grundlinie ist, dass Sie im Hotel für ein Bett und eine Dusche bleiben, und beide waren akzeptabel, so dass es einen Stern wert ist. Das Wasser war auch heiß. Ich fand diesen Ort fehlt jedoch im Vergleich zu anderen Orten, die die gleiche kosten. Es gibt auch ein Frühstücksbuffet, aber es war sehr mittelschwer. Nichts Besonderes, und nicht gut gelagert. Ich habe auch kein Rezept für meinen Aufenthalt erhalten. Ich fragte einen, als ich auscheckte, aber die Person auf dem Büro scheint nicht zu wissen, wie man einen drucken, und als sie jemand anderes fragte, scheint diese Person nicht interessiert, es zu drucken und ziemlich viel ignorierte den Antrag. Ich habe ohne Rezept verlassen, aber ich weiß nicht, warum es nicht während der Nacht unter die Tür gelegt wurde, wie jeder andere Hotel tut? Ich werde mit Holiday Inn Express für kurze Aufenthalte wie diese in der Zukunft halten, da diese Hotels neuer und viel konsistenter und qualitativ hochwertiger sind. Ich würde nie wieder hier bleiben, aber dann hoffe ich, dass ich nie wieder zu Dayton, Ohio besuchen muss.

I called this hotel before commuting into the Dayton International Airport to confirm that they provided transportation to and from the airport. They said they did. When I arrived at the airport and called them, they said that they could not get ahold of their driver to come pick me up. It was a $15.95 Uber ride to the hotel. They did not offer reimbursement. The room was okay, about what I expected for a Clarion Inn. Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast. Location is good for proximity to a park with hiking/running/biking trails, restaurants, and grocery store. I went for a run before checking out and needed a shower. The shower provided a trickle of water. I ended up turning on the tub faucet and laying on the tub floor to rinse my hair out. It was far from ideal. I requested a refund for 50% of cost of my stay at checkout as the main purpose one usually stays at a hotel is for a comfortable bed and a warm shower. I did not get the latter. The front desk attendant told me she did not have the authority to make that decision and directed me to email a video of the showerhead's performance to the hotel manager and gave me an email address. I did this while standing there. I followed up 48 hours later after receiving no response. I have attempted to call this hotel numerous times since this stay and no one answers the phone. I contacted corporate Choice Hotels and they apologized for this franchise owners lack of attention by giving me 8000 points to use toward a stay at one of their other hotels. Most hotels in this area require 12-20,000 points for a free nights stay. A month has passed with no response from this hotel. The morning I left, the hotel driver was there. He was a kind, older gentleman. He told me that they never called him the day before to come get me. He insisted I sit in the front seat of the van as it had an airbag and he wanted me to be safe. He would not accept a tip for handling my bags. He was the highlight of my stay. Good conversation and sense of humor.
