TTaylorMy husband and I travel to Milwaukee each year for his birthday. We chose this hotel for its location in proximity to our dinner reservation and the attractions we had planned. There were several negative reviews for this hotel regarding check in, cleanliness, and parking, I'd like to share my feedback to ensure travelers do not deter from staying at this hotel for those reasons. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by a friendly front desk staff and were able to check in promptly at 4pm. We were able to conveniently park in their side lot while we brought our belongings up to our room. The room was extremely spacious and had beautiful upgrades and convenient amenities such as a full kitchen. The high ceilings really made this room unique. Everything in the room was very clean. There is a parking garage directly across from the hotel which was easy to access and only cost $22.00 a night to park. When staying in downtown MKE it is to be expected that you will pay for parking, and knowing our car was in a covered garage was peace of mind. We choose to Uber to our destinations, so we didn't have to find parking multiple times, and we never had to wait more than a few minutes for our ride to arrive. My only disappointment was there was no happy hour. I was under the impression there was a cocktail hour offered, but it didn't take away from our stay, as there were several liquor stores within walking distance to grab a drink for the room while we got ready. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with options, fresh, hot, and the egg bites were delicious. The last thing I will add which is huge for me, they have complimentary water, hot water for tea, and coffee in the lobby at all times. I hate forgetting to bring a water bottle for the middle of the night when staying at a hotel, so I loved this feature. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again in the future! Don't let the negative reviews sway your decision. This was a beautiful, newly converted hotel that you should absolutely check out next time you are staying in the area.

We stayed here during Summerfest, June 28th, and it was a nice, sleep filled night. Our room was very nice and clean, few things looked aged but nothing at all, really. The breakfast was okay, there were things that we found tasty and filling. The pool and hot tub was a wonderful surprise. They do need to work on their exist side doors, it was raining when we got in at night and the side door does not work so we had to run for the front door. It was after 2a.m. so someone HAD to be at the front desk to let us in, it would have been miserable waiting for someone at the desk if they weren’t at their post. And real, they already had a card key at the front door, so I am not sure why they have to lock it besides. If a guest has the key, they get in, otherwise everyone else would be locked out, right? It was a great place to have a week-end away... I would go again. We left our raincoat in the room and Chris (the Manager) made arrangements to have it mailed to us. Good work.

GGuest UserWe had two rooms booked from Friday October 21 checking out Sunday October 23rd. On Saturday October 22nd upon our return to the room we noticed the door ajar (with no sign of forced entry), and steam emanating from the room and the sound of shower on. Upon entry we found all hot water taps were going full blast, the room had been ransacked and our items strewn about. The thief took my purse, laptop, daughter’s iPad and various other personal effects. I immediately went to the front desk where the clerk told me to call the police myself. No hotel security came to our aid. And when the police were finally called - no one from the hotel bothered to participate in the investigation. When I asked for another room for me and my 11 year old daughter to sleep so we would feel safe, we were told we’d “have to wait until the police investigation was done” ie several hours into the morning. When I called the front desk again to ask if we could please switch to another room - she hung up on me. I was livid. When I called the front desk back to ask again about switching rooms, a woman security officer said “you’re going to listen to me… you are not getting another room!”. Upon hearing this we packed our bags and found a room at the Hilton down the street. While waiting for our Uber to arrive (this is at 1 am by then) I approached the front desk to tell them we were leaving and to ask for the hotel manager’s name and number. I was then told by this front desk clerk to “google it”. And when I reacted in anger , this security “officer” then started coming toward me and menacing me. So we left. When I went back the next day - I asked for a refund and was told to send the police case file #. Which I did and emailed Sunday morning by 11:30 am. I still have not heard back about the investigation or any refund. So not only were we robbed by someone who obviously was given access to our room, but we were told to stay in a steaming, wet ransacked room and mistreated by a belligerent front desk clerk and her coworker security guard. If you are a woman travelling alone with a child, don’t stay at this property if you have a choice!

GGuest UserHier blieb ein paar Mal. Reinige komfortable Zimmer. Es fühlt sich sofort frisch an, wenn Sie einreisen. Das Hotel war nahe der Autobahn und der Mall, so dass es einfach zugreifen konnte. Das Personal ist immer willkommen und freundlich. Das Hotel-Hotelpersonal ist auch sehr hilfsbereit.. insgesamt 10/10

Für das erste Mal, dass ich in WI bin, sind die Mitarbeiter hier erstaunlich, wunderbar und sehr respektvoll. Sie haben mich hier wie eine Familie behandelt, und das ist ein wunderbarer Gefühl je, wissend, dass Sie neu zu einem Staat ohne echte Familie sind. Das Hotel ist immer sehr sauber und die anderen Gäste sind auch sehr süß. Beth ist einer der schönsten Leute, die ich jemals getroffen habe, jeder hier geht auf und über für seine Kunden.

GGuest UserI was a GM for a Country Inn & Suites so it’s in me to inspect whether I like it or not. This CIS was great! I of course saw a spot here or there that could use a touch up of paint or something but the property was clean across the board. The desk staff were welcoming, asked what I needed and delivered. I didn’t catch the housekeeper’s name on the third floor but her laugh was contagious and she was nice as she could be. I had my concerns about an airport property, but they delivered a great stay! Thanks!

GGuest UserPositives: die Nähe zu Orten und Dinge zu tun im Zentrum, der kostenlose Shuttle zu nahe gelegenen Orten, Parkplatz und Frühstück in der Tarif enthalten. Negatives: 1. ) Das Fehlen von Reinigung im Hotel: Das Zimmer hatte Schmutz, Krumm und andere kleine Dinge (auch eine Pille von irgendeiner Art!) die nicht auf dem Boden gespült/vakuiert waren, es gab an der Wand an einem Ort feste Schlamm, die nicht gespült worden war. Das Zimmer riecht weder frisch noch sauber. Im Hotelhalle auf unserem Stock gab es eine Menge Goldfisch-Kracker auf dem Boden gebrochen und nicht für einen ganzen Tag aufgetaucht. 2. ) Der konstante, unerträgliche Geruch des Rauchens und ********* im Hotelhallen (dies sollte ein nichtraucher Hotel sein!) die die Luft sehr düster, duftend und schwer atmen machte und machte unsere Kleidung geräuchert. 3. ) Die Fertigstellungen im Zimmer fehlten: es fehlte ein Türbeinhaken und Handhabung, es gab Farbe touch-ups über bestimmte Wände im Zimmer, die nicht die gleiche Farbe wie der Rest der Wand waren 4. ) Mangel an Stromausgängen, um Telefone und andere elektronische Geräte zu laden: Es gab sehr wenige Stromausgänge und keine in bequemen Orten wie an, neben oder irgendwo in der Nähe des Nachtstuhls und des Bettes, so dass wir unsere Telefone neben dem Bett halten konnten. 5. ) Die Bettwäsche waren klein und mehr wie schlanke Couchwäsche werfen als regelmäßige Bettwäsche. Die waren dünn, ununterstützlich und für eine sehr unbehagliche Nacht gemacht, wo ich wenig Schlaf hatte aufgrund der unbehaglichen und düsteren, Rauchen Sie Luft im Hotelzimmer und Hallen.

GGuest UserDie ganze Erfahrung war gut, außer dass es unter Bau ist, so dass die Eismaschine nicht funktioniert das Zimmer war schmutzig, als ich es erreichte, es war unter der Sofa, es musste im Grunde gereinigt werden, so dass wir es selbst zu reinigen. Das Restaurant, das dem Hotel beigefügt ist, ist ein Abbruch, aber nicht das, was es angemessen war.
