I've been treated very well by the staff and the owner during each visit. I especially like how clean it smells throughout the hotel. the rooms are spotless and the bed is more comfortable than most hotels that I've stayed at in Dilley. Other hotels offer free breakfast too, but there is always a fight over who gets the last ***** of bacon. Those other hotels rarely have anyone refill breakfast items when they are all eaten. I never have that problem when I stay at this Best Western in Dilley.

Although this hotel is showing its age and is slightly worn down (not like the picture taken when it was brand new), we found we really liked the room. We had an accessible room with a jetted tub. The room was enormous and the tub was deep and wonderful. There were a couple of things wrong, though. First of all, the room had absolutely no soap or shampoo. Not even a tiny bar of soap. Since we weren't planning on bathing having recently bathed at home, we did not call for any so I'm unsure if they would have given you any. The next day I saw the maid's cart for cleaning a room and I did not see any soap or shampoo on it. The second thing was the handicapped shower. The shower curtain barely reached the curb so water spilled out onto the floor when the curtain billowed out. If the shower bar had been installed a couple of inches lower, that problem wouldn't have happened. There was so much water that we weren't able to get it up with our used towels making the enormous bathroom slippery and dangerous. On the plus side, the towels were of good quality and not really thin. The bed was very comfortable. The bed could have used a better quilt/top as it was very thin and did not warm you when you were under it. It was like sleeping under a sheet alone. The breakfast area was small and the offerings were small as well. They did have scrambled eggs, and sausage as well as bacon. Not much of it, but enough. They had a waffle maker too. No orange juice, just small cartons of apple juice. They also had a selection of pre-packaged pastries. I tried the blueberry muffin heated in the microwave and it was of very low quality. The coffee was wonderful. Given all this, though, I would recommend this hotel. It was great given the price of the room.
