Dieses Hotel hat mich total überzeugt. Es war eines der günstigeren mit für mich guter Lage. Das Check-in war unkompliziert und freundlich, das Zimmer geräumig und sauber, ebenso das Badzimmer mit «nur» Dusche, was mir sehr entgegenkam. Besonders positiv zu erwähnen ist für mich hier, dass es mehrere Möglichkeiten gibt, das Necessesaire aufzuhängen. Shampoo, Conditioner und Duschgel sind in der Dusche fix angebracht, praktisch zu benutzen und von guter Qualität. Der Wasserdruck reichte darüber hinaus, die Haare zu waschen – auch nicht selbstverständlich. Der erste Eindruck des Zimmers war insofern besonders bemerkenswert, als es das erste Hotel dieses US Aufenthaltes war, bei dem ich nicht den Eindruck hatte, einen Kühlschrank zu betreten. Wenngleich es derzeit draussen gar nicht so irrsinnig warm ist (es ist auch hier Winter), wird hier üblicherweise runtergekühlt, dass es einem weh tut. In diesem Hotel war die Temperatur dagegen angenehm. Das TV-Geräte böte die Möglichkeit, sein eigenes Netflix und andere Dienste zu nutzen, das Angebot der TV-Sender ist eher klein im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels. Die WiFi Verbindung war sehr gut, sie reichte problemlos für ein Zoom-Meeting mit Bild und Ton, ohne Unterbrechnung, ohne technische Schwierigkeiten, sehr überzeugend. Bett und Kissen passten für mich, ich hatte einen guten Schlaf – mal abgesehen davon, dass meine Nachbarn mit dreifachem lautem Türgeknalle morgens um fünf Uhr den guten Schlaf etwas unterbrachen. Das ist auch der einzige Wehrmutstropfen, den es allerdings in sämtlichen Hotels zu beklagen gibt: Selbst wenn man wollte, ist es schlicht nicht möglich, die Türen leise zu schliessen. Dass dies grundsätzlich möglich wäre, habe ich in einem Hotel in Europa erlebt. Weshalb Hotels dies nicht verbessern, ist mir rätselhaft. Ansonsten gibt es an diesem Hotel von mir absolut nichts zu bemängeln, ich würde wieder hier buchen.

JJohnnyB1036Worst IHG experience ever! Check-in was on Aug 4th & our checkout is planned on the 10th. It started with the very bad smell in the room (I will mention its number after we checkout). Then we had 2 cockroaches, alive, playing around. We informed the reception & they were so indifferent. The housekeeping promised to clean the room, however, we found the cockroach exactly where we left it. The telephone in the room was not working so we couldn't even leave the kids early in the morning to enjoy some coffee. Finally today, after 3 consecutive days, they fixed the phone. On our way back tonight, we had lot of bags in the car so I asked for the trolley. Their answer was: it is in use. I asked if they had another one or if they could check whether it was free now. They replied back: it is still in use, you can go up check it yourself! Can you imagine such a reply?! In fact, I went up myself, found it in the hallway & brought it down. This is the first time I regret being a Platinum member with IHG. I am seriously thinking to cancel my upcoming trips as I cannot tolerate another service like this. Robert at the reception & another tall employee were not helpful at all & very rude. This hotel should be avoided at any cost. Regards, Johnny

PPEIZHIDie Lage des Hotels ist golden, es ist praktisch, dorthin zu gehen. Es dauert 2 Minuten, um zur Mühle von Katy zu fahren, und es ist kein Problem, dorthin zu laufen. Es gibt auch ein Kino und in der Umgebung gibt es viele Supermärkte und Geschäfte.

Das war weitgehend eine der schönsten Erfahrungen, die ich im letzten Jahr hatte, in so vielen verschiedenen Hotels zu bleiben!!! Ich empfehle das Katy Best Western als nächsten Aufenthalt, wenn Sie in der Gegend sein werden! Viele Attraktionen in der Nähe. Großes Restaurant und Einkaufen mit in Spazierweiterung vom Hotel! Das Personal und der Aufenthalt waren stellvertretend!

JjenwhiteMein Mann und hatte einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Betten sind sehr komfortabel. Das Frühstück war ein Grab und gehe, aber ich war froh, Shipley-Donuts zu sehen, als ich einen Kaffee holte. Der Gentleman, der uns in der Nacht geprüft hat, war sehr freundlich. Wir werden sicher zurück gehen ...

Immer die schnellste Kontrolle, wenn in Eile und nie Probleme mit diesen Jungs haben. Ich empfehle jedem, einen billigen, aber schönen Ort zu suchen, um für die Nacht zu bleiben, wenn aus der Stadt. Danke nochmal!

Room could have been a bit cleaner (there was hair on the floor of the shower, and the floor had some sort of residue that stuck to bare feet - bring socks/slippers!), but that's my only complaint, and it's not a big deal. Easy check in and check out, comfy bed, and a hot breakfast (bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, toast). The food was cheap hotel faire, but that's what I would expect at this price point. It filled us up, and we didn't have to go spend more money at IHOP down the road. Win/win! Would stay again. :)
