Plane deinen Aufenthalt in Dunmore

Ich war seit vielen Jahren häufig Gast dieser Anlage. Mein Sohn und ich haben hier seit seinem Kind mehrere Male im Monat besucht. Ich habe Freunde, Kollegen und andere Familienmitglieder hier angesprochen und alle sind sehr zufrieden und wiederkehren. Wenn Sie nach einem schönen Ort zu bleiben suchen, wenn Sie fahren Lost Trails, oder die O&W-Line, ist dies der bequemeste Ort zu bleiben. Es ist nahe Lebensmittel, Gas und sogar ein Autowäsche, um Ihre Maschinen nach dem Fahren zu reinigen. Das Personal ist großartig. Keara ist AWESOME und hat eine große Hilfe bei den Reservierungen und ich gehe zu Person, wenn wir hier bleiben. John Mayer

Dieses Hotel ist eine unerwartete Suche in Scranton. Es wäre in jeder großen Stadt passend. Die Architektur ist schön, die Zimmer gut eingerichtet und das Personal sehr freundlich. Es ist bequem gelegen in der übrigen Stadt Scranton und ein weiteres großes Hotel, das einen großen Konferenzplatz bildet.

Das Hilton Scranton ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber die Zimmer sind soweit Sauber. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir sind für 1 Nacht dort gewesen und hatten ein Zimmer im 6. Stock, was auch sehr ruhig war. Das Frühstück ist typisch für Hilton und auch sehr lecker, empfehlenswert sind vor allem die Omelette. Der pub unten in der Lobby war ebenfalls ganz gut, leckeres Essen zu adäquaten Preisen. Falls ich mal wieder in der Gegend bin, würde ich wieder dort übernachten.

Room was booked as part of a travel package for a music event at the mountain. Check-in was 3pm, event’s doors open at 4, you would think they would anticipate a lot of people descending on the property at the same time. Many of the rooms were not ready at 3, leaving a large group of travelers stuck in a warm lobby or in line out the door in the hot sun. Instead of bringing out pitchers of water, or some token of appreciation for the wait, the woman at the desk just attempted to avoid eye contact with everyone. When we it was our turn to check in, the clerk told us that the room was not ready, it would be about 15 minutes, to sit off to the side and she will call us over as soon as it’s ready so we don’t have to go through the line again. After about 20 minutes, my husband checked with her and she replied “Oh, yeah, it’s ready.” Who knows how long we would have sat there if he didn’t check back? They only had enough keys to give out 1 per room. The electronic key through the app does not work at this facility. The key stopped working, and when we went down, the woman in front of him had a disabled key too. The alternative side entrance next to the elevator broke down, so everyone had to go around through the lobby. I wonder if that’s a fire code violation in case of a need to evacuate? The restaurant is closed, and the “continental breakfast” is a rolling cart full of gas station-style faire. The room was not clean. It did not look vacuumed. There were strangers finger prints all over the ice bucket lid. There was black mold and obvious water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom, likely due to no exhaust fan. We started with an empty roll of toilet paper, facial tissue box was out too. There was a little dorm fridge on the floor right in the middle of the path to the bathroom, we moved it right away because it was surely something we would fall over getting up in the night to use the bathroom. There was a letter telling us they are not performing housekeeping during our stay because of Covid and to leave trash and dirty linens outside the door and to call the desk to request more. I have stayed many nights at hotels in the same price range for concerts and my kids travel team sports. I don’t expect a ton, but this place can do much better.

Stayed for one night. No complaints for the price. Small breakfast included, waffles, muffins, hard boiled eggs. Plenty parking onsite. You might want to set the gps to Stanley’s Garage as the hotel entrance is in the back parking lot
