This was my first time visiting Sunriver Resort. I heard how beautiful it is, so I finally booked my trip. Beautiful, heavenly, stunning charming, relaxing comes to mind. I would highly recommend renting the bikes, it was the best part. For 5 days, I didn't leave the resort. We golfed all 3 courses and all three were spectacular. Spent the afternoon Kayaking down the river was the perfect afternoon. I can't say enough good things about the staff, food, and activities during our stay. Perfect place to getaway and I can't wait to go back.

We spent 2 days. The room as clean and comfortable. They only change linens every 3 days by default. I don't know if that's a covid policy for now or usual. However, we asked for clean towels the 2nd day and got them immediately. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Provided breakfast was minimal but good on the first day and some hot items were provided. The 2nd day had no hot items and very little of everything else. We actually ended up getting something down the street. As for Covid protocols. As I said the room was very clean. I did not see the staff remind anyone in the lobby to mask, and I saw quite a few came through not wearing one over the 2 days. I know this is not uncommon for most businesses as some non-maskers become angry and unpleasant of asked. However, Covid is serious and every business that doesn't insist on the rules being followed makes it harder for every other business that tries to. It also makes ones stay less pleasant as you have to dodge folks, pick when you go to the front desk, etc. I'm quite aware that this a difficult thing to do, but seeing one front desk person remind an unmasked guest would have upped my opinion and review.

GGuest UserDas Zimmer war sehr sauber, das Bett war sehr komfortabel für 2 Personen. Der Pool war am Ende der Tage 95-degree sehr willkommen. Anita's indische Lebensmittelwagen (recht auf dem Grundstück!) ist atemberaubend und bequem. Anita war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gemütlich! Die Konsequenzen: Ein helles Licht über dem Büro scheint die ganze Nacht ins Zimmer, und die Gürtel sind zu dünn, um es zu blockieren. Sie können auch das helle Licht nicht außerhalb Ihrer Tür ausschalten. Bessere Gürtel, und eine Valenz über den Gürteln würde wirklich helfen. Während die Damen, die kochen und sauber waren, waren die Männer, die den Platz laufen, um die am wenigsten freundlich, die wir auf unserer gesamten 24-day Straßenreise getroffen haben.

GGuest UserWe have stayed here often, in fact for years, when we come from Portland to spend the holidays with our family in Redmond. Yes, it's my fault that I did not see the small font when I booked, that said non-refundable. We did not anticipate an out of the ordinary snowstorm that made all the passes from Portland to central Oregon nearly impassable. In fact, none of our family from outside of Redmond could make it there. I called over 48 hours before our reservation to let the front desk know we may need to cancel if the roads didn't improve and was told that she could not give me a refund based on my reservation. Since I did not want to be out nearly $500, we attempted to make it. When it became obvious over 24 hours before our trip, that it was not safe to travel, I called to cancel and asked for the manager to call me. I never received a call. I emailed the contact info for Choice Hotels, the parent company of Comfort Suites, and received an email a couple of days later that, since their hotels are individually owned and operated, I would need to contact the hotel directly. My husband has now called THREE times, only to be given the same message that the manager would call him back. It has now been nearly three weeks of phone calls. Do you think a manager has called? Of course not. I get it....we booked on a non-cancellable reservation, but you can't even give us a call???? What if instead of a snowstorm, it was COVID that would have caused us to cancel? Guess we'd have to drive there anyway and stay in your hotel so we don't lose our $500. This did not just happen to us, but also our sister whose flight from Juneau was repeatedly cancelled due to staff shortages and the snowstorm in the Pacific Northwest. Absolutely NOTHING she could have done to get herself from Juneau to Redmond, Oregon, without a boat or an airplane. After years of being a repeat customer of this hotel, we will no longer be returning. Good luck to anyone who wants to get ahold of the manager of this hotel in the future.

Etwa 30 Sekunden später erscheint er mit der Mädel hat die Handtücher, die er buchstäblich auf den Boden auf der rechten Seite vor mir geworfen hat und er schreit, dass ich seine Handtücher zerstört und uns ausschießt er würde nicht mein Geld zurückzahlen, das ich die Polizei rufen musste, und bedenken Sie, dass das über ein paar Handtücher, die nicht einmal so schmutzig waren, das Zimmer war in perfektem Zustand, als er es ansah, so dass es ein Anzeichen für ihn gewesen wäre, dass wir verantwortlich und respektvoll waren Und es zu erhöhen, er nicht einmal Waschen Sie die Handtücher, bevor Sie mich anrufen und auf dem Zimmer schreien, ich war am Telefon mit meiner Freundin, die im ICU im Krankenhaus ist, und hörte auf diesen Kerl, der uns so behandelt hat. Ich prüfte ein Sleep Inn Choice Hotel, das eigentlich nahe am Krankenhaus war und ein Viel schöner und nachdem wir wieder in gesetzt wurden, lief ich zu einem Waschmaschine und etwa 2 Stunden + 20 $ und viel zusätzlicher unnötiger Stress später setzte ich sie in eine Waschmaschine, foldete sie und kehrte sie er war nicht da die Dame auf der Vorderseite, die war extrem cool die ganze Zeit und verstand nicht einmal, warum wir so behandelt wurden, besonders nachdem wir wunderbare Kunden waren und das Zimmer selbst sauber halten. Er kümmerte sich nicht, dass wir eine ernste Familiennotfälle hatten. Wir haben beschlossen, in seinem Motel zu bleiben, er hat nicht einmal die Handtücher gewaschen, bevor er beschlossen, seine Kunden so zu behandeln. Während er einen Cadillac Escalade Suv auf Ränder vorne und will gut bezahlende respektvolle Kunden wie Kriminelle über ein paar Handtücher, die er nicht behandeln hat. Selbst sauber, bevor er es auf unsere Aufmerksamkeit bringt. GGuest UserÜberraschend gut. Zimmer war aktualisiert. Es war sauber und frisch. Das Frühstück war auch mit einer breiten Auswahl an Lebensmitteln akzeptabel. Wir waren sehr überlastet für dieses Zimmer, weil wir im letzten Moment gebucht haben. Sehr enttäuschend und unzufrieden mit dem Preis schlagen!!

Made a reservation back in November for last night. At the time of check in the clerk said there was no rooms that they overbooked the entire hotel due to local events. If it wasn't for someone not showing from one of the these events this rating would have been bad and my group of four would not have had a room. The hotel and rooms were very clean. The staff was very nice and very friendly. Parking lot filled up fast.
