Mein Sohn und ich hatten die schlimmste Woche möglich, um ihn von NY nach Florida zu verbringen. Unsere Lebensbedingungen waren schrecklich, so beschloss ich ein Hotel zu bekommen. Behindert war ich nötig spezielle Unterkünfte. Als ich Hotels in der Gegend suchte, dachte ich, das Red Roof Inn sei die Wahl. Ich war nicht enttäuscht. Daniel Fisher antwortete und versichert mir, dass er alles tun würde, um meinen Bedürfnissen gerecht zu werden, die auch frühzeitig ankommen und überprüfen vor der 11 Uhr Zeitplan. Nach der Ankunft führte mich Herr Fisher zu meinem Zimmer, das am nächsten zum Eingang war. Das Zimmer war eine Suite, die zwei Queen Betten (extrem komfortable), ein Schreibtisch und ein kleines Essenstisch umfasste. Das Zimmer war spotless. Ich brauchte auch Hilfe bei persönlichen Fragen, die Herr Fisher, Gerald, und der Rest des wunderbaren Personals betreut haben. Daniel Fisher, der Generalmanager und sein Personal, um meinem Sohn und mir zu helfen, gebündelt. Wir applaudieren und danken Ihnen !!

Stayed here with a group of student athletes and coaches and can say our stay was awesome. It seems like they are just finishing renovations on the first floor, but the renovated room we were in was large, clean, and modern. Breakfast was above average for this type of Hilton, pool/hot tub/courtyard all great touches. Plenty of parking for cars, busses, etc. Will return when we are back in the area - good hotel for teams playing Army.

Wir hatten eine erstaunliche Erfahrung bei den Howard Johnsons. Lou war der Nachtmanager absolut erstaunlich, der uns sehr sicher fühlte. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten waren sehr komfortabel. Das Frühstück war aber ziemlich freundlich... Und das Frühstück war nicht sehr freundlich.

Schmutzhafter Toilettensitz, Haare auf Duschewänden und kein Shampoo. Wir riefen den Vordertisch für Shampoo und es kam nie. Erzählte dem Vordertisch beim Checkout und die Frau hörte gerade und gab mir mein Rezept und ich sagte: ”Du kümmerst dich nicht? Sie sagte: „Wer hat gesagt, dass ich mich nicht kümmere?“ Ich sagte: „in professioneller Hinsicht.“ Sie sagte, dass sie nicht für die Hauspflege verantwortlich ist und das war professionell. Sie fragte dann, ob ich sie mit dem Manager sprechen wollte, was ich ja sagte. Ich wartete ein paar Minuten. Sie kam zurück und sagte: „OK. Ich sprach mit dem Manager.“ Und ich stand gerade da. Es gab keine Entschließung und kein Angebot, die Dinge richtig zu machen, der Manager kam nie zu mir. Wir haben mehr als 400 Dollar für unser Zimmer verbracht und ich musste das WC reinigen und zwei von uns mussten eine Dusche ohne Shampoo nehmen. Das ist nicht 100% Zufriedenheit garantiert. Ich werde nicht zurück zu der Lage oder irgendein Hampton Inn vorwärts bewegen.

Das Hotel liegt auf der Hochgeschwindigkeitsseite, der Verkehr ist sehr günstig, ganz in der Nähe der Woodbury Outlets, eine halbe Autostunde entfernt. Sie können auch einen Termin für einen Besuch der nahegelegenen West Point Military Academy vereinbaren. Leider bin ich aus Zeitgründen nicht zur Militärakademie gegangen, um sie zu besuchen. Ich bedauerte es und hoffte, es beim nächsten Mal nachholen zu können. Der Boden ist nicht hoch, nur zwei Stockwerke, obwohl sehr nah an der Straße, aber die Nacht ist sehr ruhig. Einfach frühstücken, Waffeln selber machen und anstoßen.

I would have rated 3.5, but the location tips it up if you are visiting the academy. It’s a dated hotel but nicely appointed (linens and room size). The rate was much better via Google than through the hotel website. No free breakfast, mediocre and expensive food, no laundry (really needed it after sports camp!). The gym was ok- a little hard to find. Impressive array of graduates displayed throughout the hotel and very enjoyable time in the outside bar. TV was small— made me realize that I’m getting old as it was hard to watch. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the location made camp drop off and pick up quite easy.
