Actually, our rating is very close to a 5 because everything was great except for the very hard mattress, the thin bedding (it was a chilly night) and the cold bacon at breakfast. The property is very clean from the inside out, the 24/7 pool and jacuzzi area (although closed for cleaning while we were there) is nice; and as others have remarked previously, the rooms are spacious and are equipped with a small kitchenette. The Happy Hour was nice and didn't close until 9 pm (which was also a nice feature). In recognition of all the ”perks” here, we do plan to try another stay at Gateway Studio Suites when we find ourselves in Sierra Vista overnight. Hopefully, the bed linens will be thicker (especially if the night is chilly), that mattress a bit softer and hot (or at least warm) bacon at breakfast.

VVacationer820563We were a small (12) tour group coming down from Phoenix, having spent the day at San Xavier del Bac and the Bisbee Copper Queen Mine tour. That being said, the Gadsden was the highlight of our day! Obviously, the lobby is breathtaking and a hidden gem in this part of Arizona. An additional bonus was the excellent service we received from the desk clerk - Alexis (sp?). He was there when we checked in and wasn't fazed by the numerous questions, handling us with professionalism and kindness. When we went to leave the next morning, he was back behind the desk, as he was filling in for someone else. Our stay was great; this hotel is definitely a destination in itself.

Quiet comfortable stay (we were on 2nd floor, our usual pick) Breakfast was great, nice selection to satifsy all - even blueberry pancakes! No weird odors in the room or anywhere - I think carpeting was replaced recently (even in the stairwells) or else they've got a great cleaning service! Easy check-in/check-out.

Wir hatten vier Tage vor unserer voraussichtlichen Ankunft in Sierra Vista eine 'Suite' reserviert und das Zimmer für vier Nächte reserviert. Diese sogenannte 'Suite' wie angekündigt und auf unserem Rezept gezeigt, musste enthalten, Unter anderem eine Küche und ein Tisch mit drei Stühlen. Nachdem wir über 2.500 Meilen über fünf Tage fahren, warten wir auf Entspannung und Erholung für eine kurze Woche. Check-in war 3:00 Uhr, Und das war die Zeit, um die Towneplace Suites von Marriott anzukommen. Das Zimmer war nicht bereit und so warten wir noch 45 Minuten ohne Erklärung oder Entschuldigung. Als wir endlich das Zimmer sahen, waren wir verärgert. Ein Küchenschrank, ein Backofen und ein Kühlschrank wurden in die Ecke eines sehr kleinen Zimmers gehängt. Es gab keinen Tisch wie angekündigt, es gab keinen Raum, um einen Tisch zu setzen, lassen Sie sich drei Stühle allein. Habe ich erwähnt, dass das Zimmer sehr klein war? Nur ein Raum für zwei Personen, um sich zu bewegen. Wenn man die Küchenfläche für die Vorbereitung eines Essens nutzt, gibt es keinen Ort, um es zu essen. Ich bin ein stolzer Veteran und 'Unterstütze unsere Truppen', aber die Regierung hat viele Zimmer in vielen Hotels in Sierra Vista für die Militär, die ich annehmen, hier sind, um zu helfen mit 'Grenzsicherheit'. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt in meinem Leben würde ich lieber mit meiner Frau in einer ruhigeren Atmosphäre essen. Towneplace Suites hatte uns ein Zimmer im ersten Stock zugewiesen. zwischen zwei Zimmern besetzt von Soldaten. Nicht alles, dass ruhig. Glücklicherweise konnten wir nicht bei Towneplace Suites von Marriott bleiben. Als wir den befugten Tischpräsidenten darauf hingewiesen haben, dass unser Zimmer nicht das war, was wir gebucht hatten, und erstellte ein schriftliches Rezept, das, verwirrt, dann. Nach einer langen Zeit der wütenden Telefongespräche, gab es 'nichts', die sie es richtig machen konnten, außer eine kostenlose Flasche Wasser zu bieten. Es war sehr spät, aber wir waren sehr glücklich, eine Wohnsuite in der Nähe Candlewood Suites zu buchen, ein schöner, geräumiger Ort, den wir sehr empfehlen über Towneplace. Wir werden nie wieder zu einer Towneplace Suites von Marriott gehen. Wissen sie sogar, was das Wort 'suite' bedeutet?

GGastnutzerFirst, I have to mention the nightlight built into the bathroom mirror here. This feature is ingenious, and every hotel should install them. Despite staying at more than two hundred hotels all over the country and the world, I've seen this only twice elsewhere. And one of my pet peeves at hotels is no nightlight, because I'm either blinded by the bathroom light if I get up to use the facilities in the middle of the night, or I grope around in the dark in an unfamiliar room. Kudos to management for some intelligent, thoughtful planning in consideration of your guests. Check-in at dusk was fast and efficient, and we were assigned a room on the top floor, away from the elevators as requested, to facilitate a quiet stay. The view of the mountains from our room greatly enhanced our visit. Features I love about this hotel include: Wall-mounted toiletries dispensers - very eco friendly. Keurig coffee maker Extra spacious king room with a divan-style sofa in a cozy seating area Lots of counter space in the room and in the bathroom Tons of lighting, including lamps and wall sconces Fast wi-fi and plentiful electrical outlets for charging gadgets Necessary amenities - microwave, mini-refridge, iron/board, hair dryer, etc. Full size tub and phenomenal water pressure Ultra-comfy bed, as always in IHG brand hotels. Pillow choices, firm or soft Blackout blinds The outdoor pool/hot tub area is gorgeous, with an adjacent large patio where guests were congregating. I didn't notice if there was a gym on site. Complimentary breakfast is served from 6-9:30. Although we're organic eaters and mostly vegetarian, we checked to see if there was anything we consider edible. Fresh bananas and apples were offered. Hubby also found a veggie-eggwhite omelet (highly unusual), and I had a boiled egg. Otherwise, the menu was typical - breads, cereals, dairy, instant oatmeal, instant waffles, processed bakery items, pork, etc. But we don't expect better in this regard during our hotel stays. This overnight visit was near perfection. We did hear a smidge of hallway noise, but nothing woke us during the night. Oh, and one of the window panes in our room was defective with a permanent fog. Repair the window, maybe add a recycle bin, and add raw sugar to the in-room coffee service . . . there would be nothing left to improve. We'd definitely stay here again.

GGastnutzerDas Pool-Gebiet war wirklich nett! Das Zimmer war eine gute Größe! Das Bett war komfortabel! Schatten sind dunkel (in guter Weise)! Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank ist definitiv ein Bonus. Duschebereich ein wenig datiert und braucht ein wenig Update. Frühstück war gut! Echt ziemlich nett!
Insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt!!!

Llulaby12138We were tired after driving from California, and after dinner we just wanted a decent room in which to freshen up and get some sleep. I have stayed in many Motel 6 over the years, and usually they are no-frills but quite clean. Their phone reservation system was awkward and difficult, and the clerk said, ”We have plenty of rooms, just come in after dinner”. We arrived, different clerk, checked in fairly quickly and went to our room. I pulled back my sheets and what did I find? Hairs. Lots of them, from all parts of a body. The sheets and pillowcases were wrinkled in the way that says, ”Someone has slept on these already”. I pulled back my friend's sheets and her bed also had various hairs. Utterly revolting. I called the desk and the guy said he'd be right there and move us across the hall, ”but it was their last room”; what happened to ”plenty of rooms”? That room had clean sheets but dirty pillowcases (and horribly lumpy pillows). He managed to scare up a couple more pillows that had clean cases. The drapes in the room had a large burn mark and the bathroom door had what looked like milk and dog hair all over it. Cleaning is clearly not how the housekeeping staff occupy their time. There weren't enough towels/washcloths for two people. We left as soon as we could in the morning and didn't even get into the shower. When I checked out, I saw that they had knocked off 25% of the bill, from $120 to $90, which we appreciated. Still, for what we went through and the obvious lack of care by the housekeeping staff, it didn't seem like enough. I would avoid this motel completely.

Ich kann nicht genug über die gute Lage dieses Ortes sagen. Ich hatte Schwierigkeiten, sich dem Hello Rewards Programm zu beteiligen, um eine ermäßigte Zimmerpreise zu erhalten, und der Manager verbrachte viel Zeit, um mir zu helfen, so dass ich den Preis bekommen und nach einem stressigen Tag der Autoprobleme in mein Zimmer. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, große Kissen (!), ein Kühlschrank mit Eis, Mikrowelle, etc. Wunderbarer Pool außerhalb meines Zimmers, viel Parkplatz mit Sicherheitskameras, reichhaltige Snackangebote im Büro und Verkaufsbereich. Ich war beeindruckt von der freundlichen Ausstattung der Mitarbeiter gegenüber den Gästen und gegenseitig. Einige Bauarbeiten sind im Gange und das war überhaupt nicht intrusive. Lage ist groß in Bezug auf den Spaziergang oder Lebensmittel, wenn Sie nicht fahren wollen. Komfortable Zimmertemperatur ohne hohe AC-Lärm. Ich kann nicht glauben, dass es so gut für diesen Preis ist!

Nice clean hotel with a beautiful mountain view. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious! We had booked for three nights but my husband was having difficulty with the altitude. Since we had to cancel for one of our nights due to his health concerns the owner's were terrific and immediately refunded the one day since we had to leave a day early. Tombstone is a delightful town with lots of western history.
