Letzte Station auf der Rundreise, bezahlbares Hotel in der Nähe von New Haven. Parkplatz vor dem Haus, freundlicher Empfang, Zimmer sauber und ausreichend groß (Familienzimmer) . Frühstück wie immer - nichts besonderes, freundlicher Service, viel Müll. Gegenüber ist eine Pizzeria, die man sehr empfehlen kann und nebenan ist ein Liquor - Store der eine gute Auswahl vorweisen kann. Kann man dann auf dem Zimmer noch einen Wein trinken. Für Leute auf Durchreise, die anständig übernachten wollen, aber jetzt sonst keinen Luxus benötigen absolut ok. Gerne wieder

Einer meiner Lieblingshotels, in denen ich geblieben bin, sind die Preise sehr erschwinglich, die Zimmer sind unverschämt und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Ich und meine Freundin kamen vor ein paar Wochen zu diesem Hotel und genossen unserem Aufenthalt gründlich. Wir sind wieder zurück und lieben es. Dieser Ort ist wunderschön. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Älteres stop-over Motel an der Interstate. Gehörte früher zu einer Kette (American Value Inn). Nun in privatem Besitz und familiengeführt. Älter aber sehr gut Instand gehalten. Neues Dach, neue Fenster, neue Eingangstüren, frisch gestrichen. Alles sehr sauber. Nettes Personal. Preis-Leistung überragend. Natürlich laut, aber wer Ruhe sucht, muss sich ein Hotel in den Bergen suchen. Es ist halt ein Motel an der Autobahn.

Besonders gut für ein Motel. Es ist offensichtlich, dass die Eigentümer gut für ihre Eigenschaften sorgen -- sauberes Grün, gut geformte Einrichtungen, nichts fehlt, Wandschutz hinter dem Türknopf, anständiger Geruch (d. h., fehlender Geruch). Ich freue mich, dass wir dieses erschwingliche Heiligtum im überpreisten New Haven Markt gefunden haben. Auch, Stop & Shop, Gas und Essen in der Nähe. Caveat: basierend auf nur einem Aufenthalt in einem Zimmer. Wir werden nächste Woche wieder sein.

Nur auf der Hochgeschwindigkeitsseite, 15 Autominuten von Yale entfernt, den umliegenden Restaurant-Supermärkten, die Lage ist ok. Das Zimmer war muffig, das Zimmer zur Strassenseite war sehr laut und muss zum Hinterzimmer sein. Das Frühstück ist einfach, wie Kaffee, kann voll sein, aber das war es auch schon. Dieser Preis ist auch in Ordnung.

After staying at this “hotel,” I understand better why the good ones in the vicinity sell out quickly. The quotes around “hotel” are strategic. It’s a motel. Our first impression was to flee, but we had already booked and paid for it. Check-in confirmed our initial impression when the receptionist asked if we needed a TV. Need a TV? Doesn’t our “suite” have a TV? Apparently, not all of them do. The stairway to the second floor consisted of a steep set of cracked cement stairs so tiny that my size 10 ½ shoes struggled to climb. An older person or anyone with stability issues could not reach the second floor. As you enter the room, you wish you would have turned around and hopped back into your vehicle. Inside our suite, the horrible review continues. After turning on the air conditioning, which did a fine job cooling the room, there was a strange smell we could not identify. Scanning the room, I was surprised to find a grasshopper perched upon the bedspread. I removed it and released it back into the wild. Thank you, Red Roof Inn, for a life-long anecdote. The inspection of the space continued with one disgusting discovery after another. The towels were either stained or dirty. Upon looking beneath the pillowcases, you could see apparent blood stains. The bedspread and linens did not appear clean. The furniture was mismatched, old, and disgusting. The remote control to the optional TV was so dirty and sticky that I washed my hands after changing channels. I decided not to turn on the TV in the morning to avoid the remote. The bathroom functioned well, although we found it difficult to survive with a tiny bar of soap that we shuttled back and forth between the shower and the sink. Despite a small kitchen area, we did not open the refrigerator door. We didn’t want to eat anything in that suite. We should have put more effort into researching this place before booking it. The negative reviews we read are faithful to our experience. After a one-night stay, it is obvious how deceptive the pictures are. They do not reflect reality. We would not recommend this place since our collective mantra in the morning was, “We survived.”

The Hotel Marcel was quite Modern and very aesthetically pleasing! Upon arrival, I could tell this hotel was full of charm and personality. I especially enjoyed my stay in a corner suite with a King bed. The bathroom was very luxurious and I felt as though it was something out of a magazine. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and affordable. If I had one gripe it would be that the interior of the room was very dim in lighting even when the lights were fully on (touch censored lighting was available). I wish more light was able to be in the room.

Neben dem kostenlosen Parkplatz und dem Frühstück wird das Hotel nicht empfohlen. Die Elektrösse sind besonders beeindruckend. Die Lärm ist wie ein Fall. Während des Aufenthalts hat die Elektrösse wieder ein Mal gebrochen. Ich bin glücklicherweise nicht da, sondern ich habe geplant, sie zu benutzen. Das Ergebnis ist, dass die Elektrösse nach dem Tastenknopf nicht öffnen und sich nicht bewegen kann.

Das Frühstück ist komplett mit Fleisch, Ei, Milch, bequemen Parkplätzen und die Küche ist komplett mit Geschirr und Küchenutensilien ausgestattet, die sich hervorragend zum Kochen eignen! Ausgestattet mit jeweils einem kleinen Fitnessraum, Laufband, Crosstrainer und Fahrrad.
