By far not a “bad” hotel but was disappointed. I travel A LOT across all brands and typically a Residence Inn is one of my favorites. But this location falls short of my expectations. …maybe because it is next door to a water park and instead of business clients, it has more families and vacationers (the place was packed with kids while we were there)? The facility is nice- what you would expect from a Marriott brand. However, a few minor things were noticed. Most nice hotels have now gone back to daily housekeeping- this location has not. We could have requested service during our three days but did not. Not a big deal, but noticeable. Second, the mirror in the bathroom is damaged. Certainly not a big deal, but noticeable. Trust me, I know the brand standards for breakfast service and standards were offered — just without any extras or common sense or attention to detail. Scrambled eggs full of water content (from being microwaved). BUT the container of salsa was there but no cheese like most properties. Bread, English muffins and bagels were there but no danish or nutra-grain type bars common at most locations. No waffles, no Nutella (for bananas) but they did have the standard peanut butter, oatmeal was empty two out of three mornings. Standard orange and apple juice but lacking the usual cranberry at most locations. Temperatures were in upper 90’s in Rapid City but no urn of ice water infused with lemons or cucumbers in the lobby. But hot coffee is yours for the taking. I just left a Townplace Suites by Marriott earlier in the week. There for breakfast each morning, you had two kinds of waffles with a rotating fruit compote (strawberry and blueberry), chocolate sauce, whipped cream and sprinkles were also offered. In addition, there was a rotating egg choice (scrambled egg, omelet style with cheese on the mornings I was there PLUS rotating protein (bacon, sausages etc), Plus an entree choice that also rotates (quiche, ham and Swiss croissant, sausage biscuit while we were there. Cranberry and chocolate milk. Now back to the Residence Inn: Again no quiche, biscuits, or step up offerings but today instead of scrambled egg, they had round eggs (think McDonald’s egg McMuffin style) which would have been fine if I could have made my own, but the only protein was long link sausage— so no muffin sandwich for me (bacon or Canadian bacon or patty sausage would have worked but oh yeah no cheese at this location. Of course none of this is really a big deal in itself but it falls short compared to other Marriott experiences.

After staying in Bozeman, this Rapid City Courtyard is a great value. We stayed here for two nights, for less than one night rate in Bozeman, Montana. It appears this property is very new along with Residence Inn and Fairfield Inn nearby. It is located conveniently off the interstate, although not necessarily easy to get out turning left onto the main highway 16. The room we got was spacious, and ultra clean. All the needed amenities, great AC on a hot day. The front desk staff was friendly. Our stay here was great. Did not particularly liked the design of a long narrow hallway to get to the elevators. Quite often people had to pass each other with large suitcases. Also, not a lot of parking near the hotel entrance. Instead, cars have to park across the access road in the large parking lot that is shared by multiple hotels in that area.

The pillows are the fluffiest I've ever seen. Beds are very comfortable, and the staff are amazingly awesome and courteous. Check out was simple and easy . Oh and not to forget what an great breakfast with lots to choose from.woukd definitely stay again.

Wir nutzen Marriott Hotels, wann immer möglich während der Reise. Das Fairfield Inn & Suites in Rapid City ist ein toller Ort, um für die Nacht zu stoppen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit einem Königsbett und zwei TV’s, ein Sofa Schlafzimmer und ein Desk-Raum. Das Zimmer hatte eine Mikrowelle, ein kleiner Kühlschrank und Kaffeemaschine. Das Badezimmer war groß und spitze sauber. Wir schätzen immer die Bademäntel, wenn sie geliefert werden. Die Pissen in allen Marriott Hotels, die wir unlängst verblieben haben, müssen dringend ersetzt werden. Ein gutes Frühstück mit heißen und kalten Artikeln ist ab 6:30-9 jeden Morgen erhältlich. Die Eincheckung war schnell und einfach und die Leute auf dem Büro waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor dem Hotel ist ein großer Sitzplatz mit einem Feuerblock. Die Parkplätze sind groß und behinderte Plätze sind direkt vorne. Es gibt viele Restaurants und schnelle Lebensmittel in der Nähe. Das Wasser war zu weich, und wir fühlten uns nach Duschen oder Waschen unserer Hände schlank, als konnten wir die Seife nicht raus. Wir hatten ein großes Problem. Wir waren auf der dritten Etage und der Wind, der Nacht schreien rund um das Gebäude und als es ausging, entdeckten wir, dass das Fenster in unserem Zimmer gebrochen und nicht richtig geschlossen, so dass der Lärm verstärkt wurde, und wir haben nicht viel Schlaf, wenn irgendeine Nacht. Nachdem wir den ganzen Tag fahren und viele verschiedene Standorte sehen, hatten wir gehofft, eine gute Nacht Schlaf. Führen Sie ein unteres Stockzimmer.

Das Hotel wurde auf dem Weg zum US-Präsidentenberg ausgewählt, die Hygienebedingungen sind besser, Frühstücksmittel haben auch mehr Wahlmöglichkeiten, die Servicepersonal ist enthusiastisch und das WLAN ist allgemein.

Das Hotel liegt an der nordöstlichen Ecke des äußeren Rings der rasanten Stadt, mit McDonald's nebenan. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Swimmingpool. Es ist bequem bei hoher Geschwindigkeit. Die Wartung des Windhöhlenaufzugs müssen Sie zuerst überprüfen, bevor Sie gehen. Ich bin auf einen Tornado aus dem Badlands National Park gestoßen. .

I’m in Rapid City pretty frequently for work and I’ve stayed at quite a few hotels, this will now be my go to when I stay here. Great price, super clean modern rooms, comfy bed and it was very quiet all night. Directly off the interstate so it’s a great location but it’s still not noisy. Staff was very friendly when I was checking in. The room has a nice TV and a very soft blanket and the AC works very good. Room is a spacious, has a kitchenette and a full size fridge and there’s a truck stop within walking distance if you want to save some money and buy food to cook yourself. From my experience every hotel in Rapid City is either really expensive or really sketchy but this place is neither! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

Excellent 4 night stay at this location and other Best Westerns from Michigan to South Dakota. We were planning to stay at Hampton Inns, but after negative experience in Souix City, we found Best Western and stayed with them for entire vacation. Excellent service. Great breakfast (full). Used swimming pools and hot tubs, which were relaxing after a long day. The best part is location. Drove northwest to Devils Tower and Deadwood. Next day south to Rushmore, Custer, and Crazy Horse. Then west to the Blackhills. What a great place and want to say thank you to the staff who were excellent! Next trip will be Best Westerns. Great promos right now with double reward points.
