Decent place to stay if you have a car. Several miles from Sintra historic center area, but we left early enough to get a free spot in a neighborhood a few blocks from the National Palace, so that helps. Room was typical BASIC Ibis. Not enough pillows (just ONE per person); towels (again, only ONE total, per person, or trash cans (again, ONE TINY one). No fridge!! No coffee maker. NO ICE machine available for public use in the entire hotel! Very tricky parking spaces. They have about 15-20, which are free, on surface lot, but need to pay if park in structure below...only 3 euros, but they should just make it free. The bar/restaurant area was decent and convenient; fair prices for quick dinner. Breakfast 8.50 euros, but very limited continental breakfast only; not hot items... We chose to eat elsewhere and was less expensive. Not many places to eat in immediate vicinity. There is a very convenient Lidl and Auchan (large grocery/gen merch store) to stock up on supplies before heading out. Internet wasn't working our first night, but was ok the next night. In summary, inexpensive, basic, clean room for the night, but definitely no friils. Would recommend staying here, as long as aware of basic/limited amenities

Das Hotel möchte wahrlich mehr sein als es ist. Sehr alt und abgewohnt. Das Bett war das Schlechteste in welchem ich jemals schlief. Völlig durchgelegen und kaputt. Man spürte sogar die Feder im Gesicht. Das Frühstück ist absolut ok und kann man mitnehmen. Der Blick in den Garten ist letztlich „nur“ ein Blick auf den Pool und alle darin befindlichen. Irgendwie unangenehm wenn man auf seiner Terrasse sitzt und keine zwei Meter davor wird sich gesonnt. Der Kühlschrank war defekt und ich befürchte das wird er auch bleiben. Das Personal war stets bemüht. Wirklich schön ist das das Hotel Ladestationen anbietet. Ob man nun einen höheren Anspruch hat oder nicht aber die Sauberkeit lies zu Wünschen übrig. Die Lage des Hotels ist nett aber ein Fahrzeug wird benötigt, dann sind Sintra, Cascais und diverse Strände schnell zu erreichen. Nach Lissabon fährt man eine halbe Stunde was man aber unter der Woche eh nicht tun sollte. Kurzum, das Hotel wird von mir nicht weiter empfohlen.

Das Zimmer ist sauber und sauber, das große Bett ist sehr komfortabel. Das Frühstück von Cristina ist sehr lecker. Die Tür hat einen kostenlosen Parkplatz.

Myself and my 4 year old son stayed here for a weekend, and it was fantastic! We received excellent communication from the front desk via email as we arrived after check in, which meant we could get straight up to our room upon arrival. It's in a great location, and has modern, clean, fresh décor and super friendly staff. The bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious and A/C. There was plenty of extra bedding in the cupboards too which meant you could change the sheet for a duvet if the weather suddenly changed. The breakfast was a good price, and great continental selection; my son ate everything in sight, and they even went above and beyond to make him pancakes as a treat! There was an honesty bar available throughout the day too for any quick snacks or drinks which was reasonably priced. There's a local grocery shop, pharmacy, café and restaurants all 5mins walk away too which is so useful when travelling with children. Sintra itself was beautiful, my son loved the views, visiting Quinta da Regaleira and spotting the 'castles!' on top of the hills. Do be aware Sintra has a micro climate so the weather can be breezy and cooler than expected!
