We booked this hotel for one night as a treat for a bit of R&R after our city break in Porto. We arrived a little early, about 2.30 and the room wasn't ready yet. After checking in, we went for a little walk round the grounds and by the time we returned the room was ready. We had booked the private pool suite, as we were celebrating a birthday, and it did not disappoint! It is definitely one of the most luxurious, high tech rooms we have stayed in. Everything was spotlessly clean, the room was nice and spacious, it had all sorts of high end features(like ireless phone charging pads and a google speaker) and all the usual features were finished to a high standard. The terrace was lovely and although people could see us (depending on the angle) it still felt very private. The pool was lovely, it was quite warm (it was July) but still refreshing enough, especially when sitting in the shade. It was lovely to sit in the pool and take in the view of the beautiful trees. It was so still and peaceful, the only sound was the odd bird or the ringing of a nearby church bell. We went for dinner in the hotel restaurant. The service was great, the menu was a little limited but the food was tasty. I can't eat gluten and they had a good understanding of this. In the morning at breakfast there was gluten free bread, cake and biscuits. It would have been good if they were covered, to avoid cross contamination, as they were next to the normal toaster but it was still good to be catered for. After we checked out of our room we laid by the main pool. There are lots of loungers and it was nice to use the pool, sauna and hot tub. Also, we were able to shower and change in the spa which was handy. Overall a great stay and we would definitely return.

We stayed for two nights and we were really disappointed by the cleanliness and the hotel staff. I tried to reach out by email with the following points to the hotel directly as well as to the corporate office of Golden Tulip. But emails remained without answer. Therefore I post my experience here. Hotel staff is untrained, never greets and has pretty much no idea of hotel business, one guy was working in a t-shirt. The air condition was not working when we arrived (can happen). Two person of our group were trapped in an elevator. There was a fire alarm at around 10.30pm without any further information. The back of the bed and the bed frame were full of scraches, also in the restaurant (artificial leather wall). There were traces inside the toilet of the previous guests. The toilet brush was an absolut nightmare. Inside the kettle (I used for my baby) were little animals (silverfishes). Why would a 4star hotel use paper cups in in the bathroom and for the coffee in the rooms? The curtains had holes. All chairs and the sofa were full of stains. The shower head holder was broken. Breakfast buffet was just not on the level of a 4 star and presented without any care. I hope to inform other guets before the experience the same.

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut an einem schönen Ort. ...Gut zu wissen, Rauchzimmer (Informationen in der Beschreibung Zimmer) gibt es nicht in den meisten Hotels, man spricht vielmehr von Zimmern mit Balkon, was auch bedeutet, dass man nur auf dem Balkon oder Terrasse rauchen kann, aber der Preis ist höher Kosten, die die Basis. Dieses Hotel ist ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, mit der Auswahl an Komfort (Großzimmer) oder für einen sehr niedrigen Preis (kleine Zimmer mit kleinem Fenster). Im Zentrum der Stadt finden Sie dort: viele Kaffeehäuser mit Terrasse, die sehr billige Snacks, Apotheke, Kleidung, Einkaufszentrum und sehr billige Schuhe. Ich war dort, um noch mehr in den Norden zu reisen, um die natürlichen heißen Quellen in den Bergen zu entdecken (und kostenlos: ”Thermalbads”, aber die Zeit (Windsturm und Regen) hat mir nicht erlaubt, dort zu kommen. Inês ist sehr empfänglich und benutzerfreundlich, wie die brasilianische Dame, die für den 7. Stock des Hauses zuständig ist. Andernfalls haben die Verantwortlichen im Allgemeinen alles in ihrer Macht Stehende getan, um mir das Zimmer zu finden, das mir am besten entspricht. Sehr guter Aufenthalt, ich würde im Frühjahr zurückkommen, wenn ich es kann.

Das ist ein guter Zimmer, mit Zimmer zu arbeiten, komfortable Unterkunft, zentrale, Ich nutzen diese, wenn ich in der Nähe arbeiten auf der Zona Industria, die Dusche leistungsfähig genug und sehr sauber und Badezimmer ist sehr sauber

Die Hardware-Anlagen des Zimmers sind gut zu benutzen, sauber, der Garten ist ruhig und schön und der Pool ist sehr ungünstig, obwohl wir nicht schwimmen. Mit dem Restaurantsaal wird das alte Haus dekoriert, es zeigt, dass die Gastgeber eine tiefe historische und kulturelle Ersparnis haben und der englische Service ist enthusiastisch. Nachdem wir die kleine Stadt von Aveiro beobachtet hatten, kamen wir in diese Umgebung und sahen den ruhigen Geschmack und den ruhigen Geschmack. No sé cómo este hotel puede tener las estrellas que tiene. Limpieza la justa, instalaciones viejas y descuidadas. Teníamos dos habitaciones; en una de ellas había unos calzoncillos y unos calcetines detrás del mueble de la tele , lo cual ya demuestra lo mucho que limpian. Las dos habitaciones con un baño lleno de desconchones en las zonas de las paredes, el plato de la ducha lleno de humedades y juntas negras. La insonorización de las habitaciones es inexistente, escuchas todo lo de las habitaciones contiguas. El pasillo con sábanas en el suelo encima de la moqueta. La suerte fue que lo usamos solo para dormir un par de noches, porque no repetiría la experiencia nunca.
