Wir hatten ein Komfortzimmer mit Terrasse im 2. OG (man muss von der Lobby aber nach unten!) mit seitlichem Meerblick. Zimmer sehr schön, groß und sauber. Das Hotel punktet mit seiner Lage über der Bucht und dem damit verbundenen Meerblick von vielen Zimmern und dem Restaurant. Von außen ist das Hotel nicht sonderlich ansehnlich und die Dekoration innen (wenn man mal von der Lobby absieht) nicht so dolle. Man läuft lange durch unpersönliche Gänge um an sein Zimmer zu kommen. Kein Tageslicht in den Gängen. Ist vielleicht nicht so super wichtig, aber irgendwie würde man von einem Hotel dieser Kategorie mehr erwarten. Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Service ist aufmerksam. Spa-Bereich ist vorhanden, haben wir aber nicht genutzt. Ich glaube, ich würde dem Hotel trotz der Annehmlichkeiten keine 5 Sterne geben. Alles in allem hatten wir aber einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt (wir waren eine Woche da) und haben die Lage und die wunderbare Aussicht sehr genossen. Das macht einiges wett...

Context - 12 night stay, family with 2 young teenagers in August We stayed in Villa 100, a 'luxury 2 bed townhouse' Accomodation: Great accomodation, some maintenance required, but not important. The accomodation was spacious, clean, beds were really comfortable, showers were great, loads of kitchen storage, sofas really comfortable, effective air com, kitchen with 4 burner hob, ovem, microwave, toaster, cofferr machine, washing machine and dryer. 5 star comfort, and nearly 5 star appearance (just a few maintenence piece needed ie chips in kitchen cupbaords, locks of bathrooms not aligned etc) Outside the accomodation we had 2 loungers, 4 would have been better, a table with 4 chairs with a few of a small pool. The pool near our villa was excellent. We generally were able to get this to ourselves at some points in the day, and there were always loungers available. This isn't the main pool. The main pool is a couple of minutes walk from the villa, and again excellent. it was quiet, but still an atmosphere, no problem getting loungers. On one day we had to hunt down an umbrella. There is also an indoor pool, that opens out to a terrace. Didn't think we'd use it, but it was really nice, and we used that as well. Useful when it's windy and the outdoor pool got chilly. The spa was good. My wife had a treatment that she said was very good. there was a steam room and sauna, both good, a small gym (didn't use). Jacuzzi was open, but didn't seem to work ie no bubbles! Outdoor pool bar was closed for refurb, but an indoor alternative was available. Restaurant was probably the biggest disappointment. We were self catering, used it once, and didn't return. The food was ok, but comparing it to the external restaurants we ate at, was nowhere near as good and significantly more expensive. Service in the restaurant was more comparable to a 3 star hotel. What was particularly disappointing was that 'portuguese' night was just a subset of the standard A la carte menu. Housekeeping were variable, ranging from spectacular to average! Some days they even unloaded our dishwasher which was a lovely touch. Other days they took away hand towels and didn't replace them. Resort did not have much to do for teenagers, other than making their own entertainment in the pool, but for us that was fine. Overall, a hotel is pleasant, lovely pool areas and accommodation is extremely comfortable but let down by the restaurant. Outside of the resort, in Carvoeiro we ate at 'Elliots' in the centre, and 'Recanto da Boavista' (2 minute walk from the hotel). Both of these restaurants were excellent, and catered well for my son who has a milk allergy. The other place we went to in Carvoeiro was Sandoskas. Again really good, but more cheap and cheerful. Whilst their bread contains milk, their baguettes don't, so hot dogs with baguette is a milk free option! The ice cream shop opposite also does a good range of vegan ice creams. Das Hotel ist eine hervorragende Lage für ein Hotel und ist nun vollständig renoviert zu einem sehr schönen 4-Sterne-Hotel. Wir haben hier vor der Renovierung geblieben, aber jetzt ist das Hotel so viel moderner und ideal für den Besuch von Carvoeiro. Wir blieben in einem fantastischen Meerblickraum vorne, das perfekt für den Sitz am Balkon, ein Getränk, ein Lesen oder ein Buch oder Kartenspiel zusammen. Das Restaurant war geschlossen, als wir da waren, so wurden uns Frühstücksgutscheine zu verwenden in Jan oder im Zentrum gegeben. Beide Restaurants bieten großartige Frühstücksbuffets, die besser waren als das Buffet, das Sie im Hotel bekommen hatten! Die Zugabe der Dachbar ist unglaublich, fantastische Aussichten, schöne Cocktails und großartiges Personal. Dieses Hotel ist immer perfekt gelegen, aber nicht richtig upgradiert ist es das ideale Hotel in Carvoeiro!

Gehen Sie zur Benagil-Höhle, ungefähr 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Das ganze Hotel ähnelt einem kleinen Resort. Es war ein bisschen ähnlich wie das, in dem ich in Las Vegas übernachtet habe. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr groß. Ich habe das Restaurant und den Pool nicht ausprobiert. Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich und kostengünstig.

Just got back from a week here. We used it as a base for cycling which was ideal as the location was perfect to explore the area. There is an Intermarche 0.9 miles away. We had a 2 bed villa which was very spacious. Loved the separate lounge area and kitchen and of course a spare room. Yes it is dated and 1 of the beds was really noisy but was adequate for our needs. Villa Our villa faced the main road, which although seems small it was incredibly busy and we were disturbed every night, throughout the night by noisy traffic. There is a very small balcony area which didnt get the sun but the views were quite nice and you could see the sunrise. Food We were really disappointed, having stayed half board in many hotels of varying star ratings, this was by far the worst. Breakfast was childrens cereals (3 of), cold bacon, cold scrambled egg, toast, yoghurt, very watered down juices. Nice fruit salad, selection of cold meats and a cheese. It never changed. The evening meal was from a menu, hit and miss, most of the meat choices were tasteless and dry, the fish and lasagne were nice. I prefer a buffet style by choice. The waiting staff worked hard and were polite. Pool Outside pool was fantastic, plenty of sunbeds, large pool that didnt make your eyes sting or smell of chlorine. We didnt use the indoor pool. Wifi What wifi, there was none available in the villa and even when you went to the pool area or reception it was hit and miss. We needed it to upload our routes for the next day and it became an issue on occasion. There was no atmosphere at the hotel and I appreciate we came at the end of the season. I dont think we would stay here again sadly.

The photos do not do this hotel justice! The hotel is gorgeously decorated and rooms spacious.The bedding and pillows are of good quality and comfortable.This hotel thinks of all your needs. The staff are very professional and accommodating. The breakfast was better than expected with fresh options everyday and so much choice! The pool bar is great with a wide range of fresh food options and cocktails. The best bit is the pricing, cocktails were delicious and so reasonably priced along with the food. We loved the visors attached to the sun beds to help create shade when your hot and the check out time of 12:00. They have seperate showers,indoor pool and hot tub with steam rooms which was convenient before going to airport and a great alternative if your doing a winter break. They even have a pool table! The hotel is perfectly located for bars,restaurants,entertainment and the beach. Great for families,couples or friends. Highly recommend and will be returning!

Großes und ruhiges Zimmer, aber die Schranken sind alt und schmutzig und mit gefangenen Teilen. Großes aber schmutziges Balkon und braucht eine Aktualisierung in der Gemälde. Bad mit guter Raum aber mit starkem Geruch, das aus dem Rail kommt. Das Zimmer ist groß und es wäre gut, einen zusätzlichen Müll zu haben, weil es nur im Badezimmer und in der Küche. Die Mini-Küche hat eine gute Kühlschrank, aber die Schranken und Schrank sind sehr alt, mit starkem Geruch. Ich habe den Mangel an Detergenz und Schlauch in der Küche. Auf der Ebene des Zimmers würde es rechtfertigen, einen Nespresso zu haben, wäre sehr gut. Für den günstigen Punkt sind die Handtücher von hervorragender Qualität sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Pool. Der Poolbereich ist schön, gut betreuten Garten und Top-Stühle zu schlafen. Die Bar ist auch interessant, aber ich habe nicht verwendet, weil ich die Preise ein wenig teuer fand. Mittlere Frühstück, ich empfehle frische Orangensaft zu verbessern und mehr Brünoptionen. Wir essen einen Tag im Hotel, ich empfehle nicht, es ist ein Buffetservice und das Essen war nicht gut, es war teuer. Besser, die Mahlzeiten raus zu machen.

Wir haben Anfang August eine Woche in Placid Village verblieben, das Komplex ist sehr willkommen und gut gepflegt, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und nichts ist zu viel Problem. Wir haben immer ein Sonnenbett am Pool jeden Tag, es gibt keinen Rennen am Morgen und die Leute kommen und gehen den ganzen Tag. Ich habe ein paar Wochen vor unserer Ankunft eine Wohnung mit Meerblick anfordern (dies ist sicherlich in der Entfernung) und genau das haben wir. Wir hatten eine 3-Bett-Apartment, die unverschämt und sehr geräumig, voll funktionsfähige Küche, zwei Balkone, ein echtes Haus von zu Hause und sehr gut ausgetan. Der Spaziergang in Carvoeiro dauert rund 10-15 Minuten nach unten und hat in der Regel einen Uber zurück als billig und reichlich. Auf dem Weg in die Stadt ist ein kleiner Minimarkt für Essentials, aber wenn Sie einen Hauptshop machen wollen, gibt es mehrere Supermärkte in Lagoa, (Intermarche, ALDI, Apolonia, Pingo Doce) die weniger als 4 Euros jede Reise von Uber, wenn Sie kein Auto haben. Die einzige Nebenseite war eine der Schlafzimmer hatte keinen hangfreien Raum, nur einige Zeichnungen aber es gab eine große Schranke in den anderen beiden Schlafzimmern und als wir ankamen, war niemand in der Rezeption, Es gibt keine Anrufklocke, so dass Paul nur warten musste, um uns zu prüfen, in welchem zu der Zeit fühlte sich ewig nachdem Sie seit einem halben Tag reisen, um dort zu kommen. Wir genossen unsere Aufenthalte in Placid Village gründlich und würden sicher wieder dorthin zurückkehren.

Das Hotel ist absolut nichts falsch. Wir haben hier 3 Nächte geblieben, und nur wünschten, es sei länger. Im zweibettvilla mit TV in jedem Schlafzimmer und auch eine große eins unten. Die Größe der Schlafzimmer, Küche und Wohn-/Esszimmer ist riesig. Der Garten, die Schrubber und ein kleiner Rockpool wurden unermüdlich gepflegt. Der Innenpool, der Jacuzzi, die Sauna und das Dampfzimmer waren ein riesiger Plus. Meine Frau hatte eine heiße Steinmassage, denkt, das könnte das Beste sein, das sie je hatte. Die Sachen auf dem Vordertisch sind nett, die Reinigungsmittel sind effizient. Ich konnte einfach weiter gehen.
