Fui pelo segundo ano consecutivo passar férias neste hotel. Adoro a simpatia, o acolhimento, a comida e a localização do resort. No entanto, este ano aconteceu o que nunca tinha acontecido em local nenhum. O staff da limpeza dos quartos passava muito cedo, algumas das vezes ainda estávamos a dormir. Mesmo com o papel de não incomodar na porta, batiam. Várias vezes dissemos que em 10 min sairíamos do quarto e assim foi. Normalmente estavam com o carrinho em algum quarto ao lado. O que acontece, é que não voltavam a ir ao nosso quarto, mesmo vendo que já tínhamos saído ou mesmo até depois de lhes dizermos que já podiam ir limpar e com o papel de limpeza colocado na porta. Ficámos vários dias sem limpeza e era necessário ir à recepção pedir papel higiénico. O ano passado não foi assim. Se o pequeno almoço ė até ås 10:30, não preciso sair do quarto ås 9, até porque apanhamos mau tempo com chuva . De resto, nada a apontar.

Hotel was very close to the beach with bars and shops within easy distance. A lovely decorated foyer area with good helpful staff. Room was adequate but not large. A small balcony overlooked the road and a side view to the beach. beds were good and the only down side was there were no hot drink making faciklities. It had 2 lifts, one of which was out of action for our stay, this wasnt really an isue as the hotel didnt seem that busy, nut could be a bigger problem when it was. Room was attended to and beds made every day. I thought the restaurant was lovely well set out and not to busy, although it was just out of season. The restaurant staff were probably the most attentive I have yet to see in a hotel. always smiling and removing used plates and utensils quickly. Breakfast was a good a great choice of prepared fresh and tinned fruits, a small choice of hot food, yogurts, pastries, cooked meats etc. Fruit juice, tea and coffee machines. Evening meal always had a soup, choice of fish and meat, along with selection of vegetables. a huge array of salad items and probably the best display of chilled deserts ive seen in most hotels. The only down side to the food was.. I never had any food that was actually hot, it all seemed just luke warm to me. The roof area was quiet and the pool not large, but adequate for a little dip. A bar was open on the roof if you required a drink. All in all, a great 5 days away at an unbeleivable price for what we got. SHould I return to Monte Gordo, I wouldnt hessitate to stay again.

Esta ultima ha sido mi tercera vez en el hotel y sin duda la más decepcionante. Hemos ocupado dos habitaciones durante tres dias. Seis noches en total. El motivo de mi disgusto es que solo se nos ha arreglado la habitación en tres ocasiones de las seis contratadas. Nuestros horarios han sido dejar las habitaciones a las diez de la mañana, regresar a las tres y volver a salir a las seis de la tarde. En mi opinión tiempo mas que de sobra para tener las habitaciones listas. Lo comunicamos en recepción y la respuesta fue que había que esperar a las siete de la tarde que es la hora límite de la limpieza. Añadir también que una tarde sin avisar entraron en la habitación de mis hijos con ellos dentro y a nosotros nos despertaron llamando a la puerta. Como refiero es la tercera vez que nos alojábamos en el hotel y hasta ahora muy bien, pero esta vez no ha sido así. Pagamos muchísimo dinero en un hotel de cuatro estrellas para pasar tres dias, puedo entender que el hotel esté lleno, pero si hace falta más personal se le debe contratar.

Ich blieb fünf Nächte in Casablanca. Dies war meine erste Einzelreise und ich hatte wirklich den besten Aufenthalt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfreich, ich wollte einen Tagreise nach Tavira (hohe Empfehlung) machen, aber ich war nicht zu sicher, wo der Bahnhof war und wie man dorthin zu kommen. Sie haben Google Karten für mich aufgestellt und zeigten mir genau, wie man dort über Straßenblick zu kommen und mir gesagt, welchen Zug und was zu erwarten. Ich kam dort und zurück ohne Probleme und kostete mir nur 5 € für eine Rückkehr. Die Zimmer sind grundsätzlich, aber sauber und frisch. Als ich heute Abend kam, war es spät, aber ich merkte, dass meine Balkontür nicht verriegelt würde, erklären ich das an die Rezeption und sie kamen und sahen aus, aber der Verriegelungsschrank war gebrochen. Sie wechselten mein Zimmer ohne Zweifel. Ich reservierte für Bett und Frühstück, das Frühstück war großartig. Viele Wahlen und täglich gedreht wieder Mitarbeiter waren extrem freundlich und hilfreich. Ich habe meine Tage am Strand oder Wandern verbracht, als ich einige Freunde in der ersten Nacht gemacht hatte, aber der Pool erschien sauber mit viel Sonnenbetten. Es ist ein kleiner Pool, aber das passt mit dem Hotel auf kleinerer Größe. Es ist eine tolle Lage mit dem Strand nur drei Minuten zu Fuß und ist von Bars und Restaurants umgeben. Ein perfektes wenig weg zu laden die Batterien! Danke für meinen Aufenthalt ausgezeichnet!
