Very helpful and supportive for having to extend my stay, without much warning.l, due to hospital appointments. Clean and cosy studio unit which was suitable for my needs. Cafe Zest is a superb Cafe with menu items for Gluten-free customers and also willingness to find out ingredients in foods offered. Great coffee always 😋

So Quiet!. Even though right next to a service station this motel was very quiet and the coffee from the BP was actually very good. Could not fault the clean crisp sheets and plenty of room in the Tons of Sky Sport but there’s no movie channels. An easy fix if you remember your Netflix password. Very happy with our stay

Great location, easy to find Cuba Street directly off Main Street. Motel located opposite stadium. Appreciated that they accommodated request for upstairs room and were okay with possible late arrival. Have stayed previously, obvious current owners have continued to update and improve facilities (new carpet, I think, and bigger TVs) Very clean, most importantly no trace of previous occupants, just a couple of spots that need attention....on carpet (looks like a spilage) and corner of spa bath (bit of mould) and walls by TV in need of repaint after repair. (I had first room in corridor, upstairs) ...otherwise perfectly clean. Disappointed not to have the recliners but understand that they may have to the end of their useful life. Would have liked to have had breakie out on deck but no table, (just 2 chairs), a small table would be very useful addition. Bed in this room not as comfortable as previous stays, maybe needs a topper. Air conditioning was great. Book direct with motel to get best rate.

Ich muss zugeben, dass ich nicht sicher war, was zu erwarten war, wenn ich dieses Motel reservierte. Ich werde glücklich zugeben, dass ich angenehmen überrascht war. Leicht zu finden und gut gelegen. Freundlich Gastgeber. Sauber und gemütlich Parkplatz. Das Zimmer selbst war spotless. Obwohl ich nur eine Nacht dort war, ließ es mich mit einem positiven Eindruck und ich werde sehr glücklich dort wieder bleiben.

What a fantastic place to stay. Very clean modern rooms and close to the centre of Palmerston North. Shopping mall just across the road. Great hosts who made us feel welcome. It was a very pleasant stay and will be on the top of our list for places to stay when we return.

Der Mann, der uns in die Stadt genommen hat, war nicht gut, unfreundlich, erzählte uns nicht, wo unser Zimmer war, schaute uns von oben, als wir heraus gingen, was schrecklich war. Das Zimmer war wirklich sauber (außer Kunststoff links auf dem Boden). Der 2. Tag Service war schrecklich. Keine Betten gemacht, keine Seife ersetzt, keine Gesichtskleidung ersetzt, verwendet Handtücher nicht genommen, links Reinigungsspray Flasche in unserem Badezimmer. Die Akte über das Zimmer war soso sticky die Seiten ineinander gehalten. Der Duschedruck war schrecklich! Nice warmes Wasser aber. Liebe, dass wir fünf von uns in einem Zimmer passen können! Drei Singles im Schlafzimmer & eine Königin im Lounge. Komfortable Betten und Betten, aber für eine andere Schranke (& Seife) zu ringen, da jeder nur kalt mit dem Blatt & super dünne Duvet war. Keine elektrische Schranke geliefert. Super komfortable Sofa. Trotz anderer Bewertungen re dies fanden wir es wirklich ruhig & es hatte gute schwarze Gürtel. Kleine Touchs wie matching Lichtblasen die gleiche Schatten & Farbe & Reparatur der Bettseite Einheit sind billig & machen einen großen Unterschied. Nicht empfehlen, es ist gut bezahlt, eine gute Lage nur von Service in allen Bereichen abgesetzt.

Ein großer letzter Minute hier bleiben! Buchte ein Zimmer im Harrington's Motor Lodge nur 10 Minuten vor meiner Ankunft. Ich bleibe in der Regel auf der Straße, aber die letzte Minute Zimmerpreis hier war wirklich gut. Die schöne Dame am Rezeption hatte meine Buchung nicht ganz gesehen, so sie schnell um mein Zimmer organisiert zu werden. Reine Frischmilch angeboten, keine dieser schrecklichen UHT-Taschen zu sehen. Parkplatz war direkt außerhalb der Zimmer verfügbar. Mein Zimmer war nur eines ihrer grundlegenden Studios. Sie waren nichts Flash, aber alle Fundamentals waren ausgezeichnet. Komfortable Betten, sauber, und warm. riesige TV mit den 50+ Sky TV-Kanälen. Kleine Küchenzeile mit allem, was Sie brauchen, um ein kleines Essen/Frühstück zu kochen. Das Badezimmer hatte eine nasse Dusche, die leider ziemlich schockierend war. Ich hatte Angst, dass dieser Ort als Notfall-Wohnung genutzt worden sein könnte. Es waren ein paar schatten Menschen, die außerhalb ihrer Zimmer hängen, und alte geschlagene Autos. Nach einer schrecklichen Erfahrung vor der Nacht in einem Motel, das eine EH-Anlage war, war ich wirklich nervös. Aber die schatten Leute draußen waren extrem ruhig und respektvoll. So hoffentlich ist dieser Ort nicht eine EH-Anlage. Meine wenigen Grippe wären der schockierende Duschedruck. Das Fehlen von Power Sockets im Bett für die Ladung von Telefonen und dergleichen. Und nicht die Motels schuld, aber das Ausfahren von dem Motel auf Fitzherbert Street kann manchmal sehr schwer sein, und es ist gewissermaßen geduldig. So im Allgemeinen ist die Harringtons Motor Lodge ein sehr anständiger, komfortabeler, sauberer und erschwinglicher Ort, um die Nacht zu verbringen. Die Eigentümer/Manager sind sehr freundliche Leute. Dieser Ort bietet einen hervorragenden Wert für Geld. Wäre sicherlich wieder zu bleiben

I booked many months ( 10) earlier as we were coming for a wedding and had booked 3 rooms. By chance happened to be in Palmy the weekend before the wedding and thought I’ll just check on our booking as we needed to change the number of people coming. To my surprise our rooms were not booked even though I had a confirmation email to state that it was all confirmed for those rooms and dates (3 nights) To our rescue was a lovely lady Julie who was on reception that day. She managed to change and sort everything so we had the rooms we needed. Thank you Julie. Oh but after such hard work by one member to make our stay great it was let down by the rooms themselves. The bed had stained sheets, a very loud and noisy air conditioner, a coffee machine provided as we had a suite, but no coffee pods to use in it. The next day I noticed our bed wasn’t made just pulled up and areas of the room were dusty. It did improve for the other days. Not a 4 star hotel at all more like a 2 star. We felt it was over priced and so won’t be staying again .

Booked 3 rooms for family group, totalling 8 room nights. In Palmy for a family wedding. The room was very clean and the rate very good at $135 a night. The motel is very close to the Mall Entrance with lots of decent shopping and also near a number of restaurants. I liked the walking distance aspect. The rooms were very dark and there is a fan rather than air con. Luckily it wasn’t too hot. Our room had an upgraded bathroom, others did not. There were a couple of issues with the shower not draining in the non renovated bathrooms. The reception manager is friendly, however we requested a later checkout and when refused, asked if wer could just use one of our three rooms, for half an hour, due to a late night the previous day at the wedding. However this was declined. I would have thought request that wouldn’t have imposed on the cleaning schedule too much as the other rooms could have been serviced first. For an $1000+ reservation group, most hotels I’ve stayed in would accomodate this request. Accordingly I have marked down this property, which I rarely do.
