Our friends from the UK had to cancel their NZ trip at short notice and couldn’t get a refund from Rosewood Matakauri, so since we live in Sydney, they offered it to us. My wife jumped at the offer for a full board weekend in Queenstown. We arrived Saturday afternoon and from the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Welcome drinks, late lunch, pre dinner drinks and Canapés, an excellent dinner, then breakfast next morning and all over again the next day, the food was impeccable. The room, in 5e lodge was cosy and well appointed. We used the gym, hot tub, pool, sauna..made the most of our weekend there. The bed was comfy, the room has Great Lake views, well appointed bathroom, The staff were fantastic, helpful and always willing to chat. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone, although I guess it’s pretty expensive. Ideal place for something celebratory.

Lake view rooms are perfect. The hotel is ok and as a Mercure, pricing is reflective in the higher end. It’s about a 20 minute walk into town which is downhill. To many sherbets and coming back I would recommend a lift. The local bus is halfway down the hill also. Bar staff and restaurant staff are smiling and helpful. Front desk need to take some learnings from them. Dinner 1 night was a nice meal accompanied by a nice wine and very pleasant service. Breakfast….save your money and head into town. You are paying for the view. Pay as you go as you don’t want a surprise when you check out.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were a family group so we required three rooms. Everything was beautiful, comfortable and cosy. However the highlights were the evening meal(s) we had at the restaurant. We stayed three nights and had such a wonderful time the first night we dined at the hotel that we ended up eating there every night. The menu was comprehensive, our group ordered widely and we all enjoyed each dish. I particularly loved the pumpkin soup, but the steak and pork dishes as well as the hamburgers , were equally popular. Attention was paid to detail, and this was especially the case with the deserts and their superb presentation. The staff were cheerful and generous and made us feel like welcome guests.

Ich kann nicht glauben, wie gut dieser Ort war! ... Wir haben für 6 von uns ein privates 8-Bett-Dorm bekommen, das Zimmer selbst war etwas heiß, aber das Personal brachte uns schnell einen Fan, der massiv half. Die Toiletten und Duschen waren so gut gepflegt und der Lounge, Waschmaschine und Trocknungsräume machten den gesamten Prozess so einfach. Küche ist absolut riesig und perfekt, wenn Sie planen, dort zu essen. Aber das Personal war etwas anderes, unglaublich freundlich und eine Dame hat mir sogar 50c aus ihrer eigenen Tasche für die Lockers geleistet, hat es nicht getan, aber wollte mir helfen! ... Ein absolutes Gemt! Ich werde definitiv hier in Zukunft wieder bleiben.

Das Hotel ist auf einem Slopes, diesmal gab es die erste Reihe auf der Straße, der erste Stock unter der Straße ist die Garage, der Garagepark ist immer noch sehr bequem, die Slope kann auch in den Wagen fahren und bequem für die Gepäckerhebung. Das Hotel hat drei Schlafzimmer, drei Badezimmer, die zweite Etage ist ein Wohnzimmer, wir sind vier große und ein kleiner, genau gut. Das Hotel ist warm und die Einrichtungen sind auch sehr neu. Die geografische Lage ist nicht weit von der Wanderung nach Queensstadt, etwa 10+ Minuten, aber es gibt einen sehr langen Slip ... zurück zum Hotel ist ein bisschen müde 😂 Die Straße ist in der Nähe des Hotels in diesen Tagen repariert und morgens wird er wach. Der einzige Mangel ist, dass es keine Heizungsfolie im Hotelzimmer gibt. Manchmal fühlt sich die Nacht kalt und die anderen sind gut.

Staysouth-Eigenschaften sind ein hervorragender Anbieter. Wir haben in Villa 10 geblieben. Die Unterkunft ist in hervorragender Lage mit allen verfügbaren Einrichtungen. Es ist ein 5-minute Fuß von der Stadt, was es sehr nützlich macht, ohne die Nachteile, dass Sie nach der Stadt fahren und Parkplätze finden müssen. Kommunikation aus Staysouth war rechtzeitig und detailliert. Ich zöge nicht, Esplanade Queenstown zu empfehlen

Genießt einen 4-night Mini-Break bei QT Queenstown. Hotel ist großartig und ich empfehle – perfekte Lage (kurze Wanderung in die Stadt entlang des Seefronts); geräumige Zimmer; und vor allem Personal willkommen und professionell (vor allem schreien Sie auf Louisa & Anthony auf der Frontdesk und Darren & Erike(? ) in Restaurant/Frühstückszimmer – Sie sind großartige Botschafter für QT und machten unseren Aufenthalt extra speziell.

The rooms were very average condition, but our kids enjoyed the big deck to play on. Staff werent very helpful and seemed noone knew what was going on, slack communication it seemed. I had also requested our family rooms to be close (twice) yet when we arrived we were on different floors! The man at the desk had no explantion or idea how to fix this issue. Eventually I called for the manager and she changed the rooms for the following night. The restaurant was unimpressive for the high prices also. Had much better meals in town.
