Plane deinen Aufenthalt in Lemiers

Wir hatten für eine Nacht eine Suite mit Arrangement gebucht. Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig im Grünen und ist umgeben von einem herrlichen Schlosspark, der zum Spaziergang einlädt. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nachdem wir unsere Sachen in der, zwar etwas kleiner als erwarteten, aber dennoch schönen Suite verstaut, uns etwas frisch gemacht und auf dem Balkon ein Glas des bereitgestellten Proseccos genossen hatten, waren wir im Bistro eine Kleinigkeit essen. Hier waren wir sehr zufrieden! Am Abend gab es im Rahmen des Arrangements ein 3 Gänge Menü im Kasteel, wo auf Sonderwünsche sofort problemlos eingegangen wurde! Das Essen und auch die Weine waren sehr gut und der Service war absolut aufmerksam! Die Suite ließ sich sehr gut abdunkeln und der Schlafkomfort war gut. Am Morgen konnten wir dann im Kasteel das wirklich umfangreiche und leckere Frühstücksbuffet genießen, hier gab es eine sehr große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken! Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in toller Umgebung und sehr gutem Service!

Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende hier anlässlich unseres Hochzeitstages. Auf Grund von Corona konnten wir diesen Termin im letzten Jahr nicht wahrnehmen. Umso größer die Freude, als wir bei tollem Wetter anreisten. Der Empfang war neutral und wenig herzlich und unser Zimmer, obwohl nach 14 Uhr, nicht fertig. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung oder das Angebot auf ein Getränk nach einer Anfahrt von mehreren Stunden. War nicht nötig, da wir ortskundig sind und uns zu beschäftigen wussten, aber das Angebot wäre eine Servicedienstleistung. Wir hatten ein einfaches Zimmer gebucht, das absolut ok und ausreichend ist. Wer länger als 2 Nächte bleibt und das Wetter schlecht ist, dem empfehle ich eine höhere Kategorie mit Whirlpool und Dampfbad. Hatten wir beim Mal davor. Am Abend waren wir, auf Grund des Hochzeitstages im Restaurant… absolut einzigartiges Essen. Hervorragende Qualität und eine sehr freundliche Bedienung! Allerdings kam es beim bezahlen des Weins zu einem Missverständnis, das man mit mehr Souveränität und Freundlichkeit hätte lösen können. Beim Frühstück am nächsten Tag waren wir die ersten, die so früh unterwegs waren, was man uns deutlich spüren ließ. Es wurde uns nichts gezeigt oder evtl ein Omelett oder Spiegelei angeboten. Am Abreisetag allerdings wurden wir (zur selben Uhrzeit) von einer sehr netten jungen Servicedame empfangen, die uns vom Vortag nicht kannte und uns somit in das Frühstück ‚einwies‘ und uns köstliche Spiegeleier briet. Ein Servicehighlight die Gute! Beim check out lief es genau so unpersönlich und neutral wie beim Check in; hier würde ich mir für ein Hotel dieser Güte mehr Kommunikation und einen ausgeprägteren Dienstleistungsgedanken wünschen. Lächeln kostet nichts! Die angebotenen Arrangements vom Hotel kann ich also nur empfehlen! Beim Abendessen um die 50€ +/- für Wein und Wasser einkalkulieren 😉 qualitativ lohnt sich das in jedem Fall! Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen… irgendwann!

Hotel Brull is located in a nice small village between the hills of southern Limburg and a great starting point for cycling or hiking through the area. The exterior is amazing, with 3 different terraces, so always sun and a nice view. The people from the hotel are super kind and helpfully. Breakfast was more then enough, and eventhough we had to deal with corona measurements it was possible to eat at your room or outside on the terrace. We had a Deluxe room which was spacious. I've read complaints about rooms not being sounds proof but that was minimal. The building is dated from 1700 something, so we call it (sound/noize) the charms of such a historic building! We stayed here for a night and it’s basic and fine. The breakfast just had the necessities like some eggs, bread, cheese, ham, etc. but it was good. They also had a nice coffee machine so if you want to drink a cappuccino you can! While the breakfast area was small, it was enough to seat quite a few guests. When we arrived (I believe it was around 8:30am) there were tables that were not cleared yet and during our breakfast only one of those tables was cleared and cleaned which is something they could improve so the guests don’t have to stare at trash all the time. The room did not have a fan or an airconditioning, which is fine, but we also could not open the windows at night because they did not have screens and there were quite a lot mosquitoes and other unwelcome guests waiting to get into our room. The windows were also extremely dirty which is quite disgusting since they open inwards. The beds were clean and the mattress was soft and surprisingly comfortable! The bathroom had soap and showergel/conditioner attached to the wall and the showerhead was small but powerful. For the elderly there was a chair in the shower so you could sit down. The towels were clean and there were two shower towels per person. (the smell in the room also gave away a lot of elderly stay there) The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful so for people wanting to cycle or hike its perfect. Outside the hotel is a seating area where you can drink something. The seats were comfortable and there was plenty of shade. While you drink your cold beverage you can enjoy the view of a small lake and fountain separating the hotel from a main road. We read online this was a 2 star hotel but it was worth 4 stars. In our opinion everything was fine but compared to other 2 and 3 star hotels we stayed at it is definitely not worth 4 stars. Definitely a hotel to consider for an event so you basically only have to sleep there.
