Ok place for a quick business stay. Bar and restaurant were severely understaffed. Quality of food is mediocre at best. For every one of the four days of our stay, we had to request an additional towel. One day we had to request shampoo. One day the room was not serviced at all. If rooms in a hotel are ”non-smoking” , then the policy should be implemented. I didn't find it so conveniently located from the old city center. With the local traffic it would take 30 mins. There is literally nothing around it other than highways and a Starbucks half a mile down the road.

Nos asignaron una habitación, nos dieron la llave y al acceder a la misma, ésta YA ESTABA OCUPADA e irrumpimos en la privacidad de otra familia. Es inconcebible que tengan este tipo de error en un hotel porque pone en riesgo a los huéspedes o sus pertenencias. Tuvimos que pedir disculpas a los otros huéspedes y bajar a hacer el reclamo con todo el equipaje para que se nos asignara otra habitación desocupada. Por otro lado, la limpieza en el hotel no es suficiente. Las alfombras se perciben sucias tanto en habitación como en pasillos. El baño tenía cabellos en el área de regadera. No es muy agradable que los jabones que proveen son líquidos como si se tratara de baños públicos.

Una buena opción para viajes de placer o negocios, en lo personal este viaje fue por motivo de celebrar mi cumpleaños y el personal del hotel me dejo una sorpresa muy personalizada y agradable en mi habitación, las instalaciones en todo momento son muy limpias, servicio al cliente excelente, desayuno tipo buffet variado y en un rango de horario accesible, horarios de check in y check out muy cómodos y accesibles.

The approach to the hotel is nice. The bell boy was available to pick up my luggage. As I checked in with the 2 young women at the front desk, I asked if I could make a shuttle reservation for my early flight the next morning out of QRO airport. The receptionists, both of them , told me that the hotel did not have a shuttle, but that they could make a taxi reservation. I specifically stayed at the Domun Hotel because it shows on its web site that it has a shuttle. The receptionist told me that she could book me a taxi for 1500 pesos. Yes, I correctly typed the amount she quoted me. When I told her that I would then make my own transportation booking via Uber, she then quoted me 1000 pesos. By then, the bell boy came and realized what was going on, and told me in English that the hotel has a shuttle available for its guests. I made a reservation with him for a 4am pick up. I then paid the receptionist, after requesting to show me exactly the amount she was charging my credit card, 500 pesos. She was actually expecting me to sign the charge without showing me the amount. Something is seriously wrong here. The room was perfect, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shuttle driver was right on time. With no traffic, it was a 20+ drive to the airport. I probably would not stay there again. The checking in was unpleasant and felt dishonest.
