Alle Angestellten sind sehr nett und der Zustand des Zimmers, die Annehmlichkeiten, die Qualität des Thermalwassers und die Temperatur sind perfekt.
Das Kaiseki-Frühstück ist köstlich und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut, wenn man bedenkt, dass das Ryokan eine private heiße Quelle und einen Sitzplatz/Frühstück beinhaltet!
Wohin man auch blickt, die Landschaft ist wirklich schön und das große öffentliche Bad ist so hübsch.
Die Lage kann ohne Mietwagen etwas schwierig sein, aber wenn Sie den Ryokan vorher fragen, können Sie ihn an einer nahe gelegenen Station abholen!

MMerlin ChanAlthough the building of the hotel was constructed in 1997, the room was modernly decorated and very comfortable.
There were 3 onsens available for guests to use and they could not be missed.
The dinner and breakfast were remarkable.
The staff was nice and helpful.
The hotel was located near mount Asahi-dake. It was good to have onsen after hiking in the mountain.
What’s more, the area which the hotel was located was free from light pollution. I saw a sky full of stars and it was superb.

I recently spent one night at the Higashikawa Asahidake Onsen Hotel Bear Monte in a Superior Twin Room, and the experience was quite delightful. The hotel's proximity to the Asahidake Visitor Centre, which is highly informative (I spent an hour there), and the ropeway to Mount Asahidake makes it an ideal choice for nature enthusiasts and hikers.
The room was spacious, featuring a modern and minimalistic design that provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. My family particularly enjoyed the bath, and the attention to detail in the provided pajamas added an extra touch of luxury to our stay.
While the buffet spread for both breakfast and dinner wasn't exactly fantastic, it was good enough to satisfy most guests. The variety was adequate, though there is room for improvement in terms of the selection offered.
One of the highlights of our stay was waking up to the sounds of nature and the gentle breeze. The hotel's location is perfect for those looking to trek, hike, or simply enjoy the natural beauty of Daisetsuzan National Park.
Overall, Higashikawa Asahidake Onsen Hotel Bear Monte offers a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the area, with spacious rooms, thoughtful amenities, and a prime location near key attractions. I would recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Mount Asahidake.

GGastnutzerWir vereinbarten einen Termin mit dem Shuttlebus und das Auto war sehr bequem zum Sitzen. Der Raum befindet sich in einem Zimmer im japanischen Stil und eignet sich sehr gut für zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind. Der Abendessenteil ist gut, aber der Frühstücksteil ist bereits leer, aber nicht gefüllt.
Ich mag den Innenteil der heißen Quelle, aber das Wasser draußen ist etwas warm und zu kalt zum Einweichen, sodass ich es nicht genießen kann.
Die Lage ist auch sehr gut, es gibt 7-11 gegenüber und man braucht zu Fuß etwa 10 Minuten, um die Eisfallsaison zu sehen.

GGastnutzerThis is a little gem in Biei. It gave me cute little cozy wooden hut in the snow kind of vibe. Iooking out from the dining area and our room, the view was fantastic and breathtaking. Few things to highlight
1. Affordable cost.
2. Quite and peaceful space where you can sink in and enjoy at your own pace
3. Beautiful snowy farm view
4. Clean and spacious room
5. Polite and thoughtful staffs who can communicate in Mandarin is a plus point
6. Complimentary breakfast made by the chef was yummy. Thanks to the chef who also specially prepared a vegan set meal for my mother
7. Coffee beans, coffee grinder and tools for drip coffee making is prepared in the room for guests
8. Spacious parking space
However, for old people who are weak and unfit to carry heavy luggages up and down the stairs might suffer a little as the hotel doesn't have a lift access to the bedrooms on the second floor..
The hotel bed is not as comfortable as other hotels in Japan.
Overall, I love my stay in this hotel and would be glad to revisit this place.

DDashakIch war mit meiner Familie hier. Es wirkt wie ein familienfreundliches Hotel – Buffet und nichts zu tun.
Das Zimmer hatte eine Gasheizung, die für so ein kleines Zimmer ungeeignet war, sodass wir das Fenster leicht geöffnet lassen und den Luftreiniger die ganze Nacht auf höchster Stufe laufen lassen mussten.
Das Personal war okay und hat nur seinen Job gemacht, aber niemand sprach ein Wort Englisch. Wir sind 15 Minuten länger durch das Hotel gewandert, da die Google-Maps-Position nicht korrekt war.
Die Onsen-Annehmlichkeiten haben mir sehr gut gefallen! Sie waren großartig – Pflege von Kopf bis Fuß.
Aber die Nähe zu Biei und dem See macht das wieder wett.
Ich glaube nicht, dass ich wiederkommen werde, aber für den sehr günstigen Preis bekommt man, was man bezahlt. Viel gelernt!

Trotz ihrer Schwierigkeiten, ihre Hilfe in Englisch auszudrücken, ging sie aus ihrem Weg, um unsere Fragen zu beantworten, sowie mit der Küche zu arbeiten, um ein schönes Abendessen für uns zu bereiten, obwohl wir keine Vorbestellungen. Es gibt auch kostenlose Rahmen für Abendessen von 10pm-1030pm bei Nacht für Gäste, die hungrig fühlen. Und der beste Teil war die Bergblick extrem schön.

RRachoooLarge hotel room, clean and tidy but a bit old. Air con was not functioning much so need a fan. No special view from hotel room, was facing mountain / car park side. Limitrd car park space at hotel, but they could arrnage shuttle bus connecting a public parking area. Busy hotel restaurant, which means long queue for food. Hotel staff are nice and can speak english. Mixed onsen, but the floor of onsen was not even, difficult to walk through.

GGastnutzerWe wanted to visit Shirogane, hence we chose the few hotels there. We settled on this one because of room availability and the guarantee that it was non-smoking. The hotel is old, but it's like all the other hotels in this area. We enjoyed the osen (especially the outdoor setting), which turned out to be free (as opposed to what was reflected on Trip.com website); we confirmed with the hotel before we arrived that this was indeed the case. Great that breakfast and dinner were included as there are very few other choices in this area.

KKobe FukaeThe hotel description did not capture the situation enough. I was confused due to lack of room pictures. They also posted several listing for different rooms under different hotel name section. But this room is perfect for us. The location is a bit far (if you are not used to walking) from the station but it is only around 7-9 minutes walking. The surrounding area is a quiet neighborhood. The building is new and very clean. It was also warm inside even when the weather forecast said -14 celcius outside. The japanese food they served was also very good. They provided free coffee/tea and water in common area. They also let us lent their microwave. The bathroom is only one but very clean and comfy. The room has its own mini fridge, ac, and tv. If you are wondering where to stay in Biei, I definitely recommend this place.
