Erstens: Das Immobilien befindet sich direkt in der wunderschönen Chianti-Region, aber immer noch leicht zugänglich von Florenz. Wir besuchten im September 2021 und es war die perfekte Zeit des Jahres. Die Grundstücke selbst sind malerisch, und genau das, was wir von einem schnellen Jaunt in die Gegend hofften (wir hatten nur eine Nacht traurig). Wir haben es so sehr geliebt, dass wir am Tag unserer Abreise eine geplante Aktivität storniert haben, um ein paar Stunden mehr in der wunderschönen Umgebung zu genießen ... Es fühlt sich wirklich wie ein Traum. In der Nacht, in der wir da waren, schlug ein großer Sturm sehr schnell und unerwartet, und wir verloren tatsächlich für den Abend viel Macht - es war ganz das Abenteuer! Es war wirklich lustig, aber als alle in den Geist der Dinge eintraten, und wir alle essen mit Kerzenlicht im Abendessen, das sehr lustig und atmosphärisch war. Die Besitzer (ein freundliches und wunderschönes Paar) zirkulierten unter den Tischen und waren nur so eine Freude, es machte uns wirklich fühlen, als ob wir Teil einer Gemeinschaft waren. Das Bett war himmlisch und das Essen und der Wein lecker. Wir sprachen schon über den Tag, bis wir wieder ins Bett gehen. ... Es gab jedoch ein ”aber”, leider. Obwohl die meisten Mitarbeiter absolut wunderbar waren, einschließlich aller Server, gab es eine Frau, die den Vorderdesk/admin arbeitete (wie es die ältere der beiden Frauen war, die den Check-in/Gast-Service-Desk arbeiteten) der so bescheiden und unhilfevoll war, dass wir ehrlich ein wenig zu Hause blieben, so dass wir uns überhaupt überlegen, zurückzukehren, trotz aller anderen wunderbaren Dinge über die Villa. (Der jüngere der beiden Frauen war wunderbar). Wir hatten einen privaten Autotransfer durch das Gebäude organisiert, um uns nach und von Florenz zu fahren; zunächst hatten wir, wie bereits erwähnt, am Tag der Abreise eine Aktivität (nicht mit Villa Le Barone reserviert) geplant und so die Übertragung dauerte uns an den Wir haben uns gefragt, ob wir unsere Übertragung nach Florenz entsprechend ändern können. Ich erkenne vollkommen an, dass diese Art von logistischen Veränderungen schwer zu bewältigen sein kann, so dass wir relativ flexibel mit der Zeit waren -- unsere einzige Anforderung war, dass wir irgendwann zwischen 5pm-10pm in Florenz ankommen, um in unsere Airbnb zu überprüfen; wir nicht Ich hätte auch verstanden, wenn die Antwort einfach nicht war, das wäre nicht möglich. Aber die Art und Weise, wie wir von der Front-Desk-Frau behandelt wurden, war wirklich, als ob wir ihr kein Ende der ungerechtfertigten Schwierigkeiten verursachten, und dass wir unglaublich fordern, indem wir eine solche Änderung verlangen. Es hat uns wirklich geschlagen, weil alle anderen dort arbeiten, so grausam waren. Die Kommunikation von ihr war unglaublich schlecht, und wir mussten mit ihr mehrmals selbst folgen, um die grundlegendesten Informationen von ihr herauszufinden. Sie sprach zu uns, als wären wir unverantwortlich, unerfahrene Jugendliche anstelle gut reisender Mitte-30-Profis (Physik und Apotheker)

Das war unser erstes Mal in Chianti und wir liebten dieses Hotel. Das Personal war wunderbar, freundlich und unterkunftsfähig. Die Restaurants in der Gegend waren fabulös. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, werden wir hier sicher bleiben! Danke für Ihre Gastfreundschaft! !

Pietra del Cabreo - Greve del Chianti Nestled beautifully south of Florence, you would miss it if you didn’t know, Is the most amazingly well kept retreat, named Pietra del Cabreo. Where you can stop to unwind and attempt to slow down the sands of time, Amongst tranquil olive trees and row upon row of Chianti grape vines. It’s Infinity pool disappearing within the hills is a sight of pure wonder, To relax alongside in the Tuscany heat, before cooling off with a plunder. The surrounding gardens and lawns so lush and wonderfully green, Watered every morning by traversing sprinklers, that by day are not seen. And the carefully laid path stones, create the perfect transcending walk, As couples holding hands navigate the gardens and consistently talk. The landscape around is so difficult to perfectly describe, So gorgeous in its presentation and lasting so far and wide. Butterflies cross cross each other as they carefully cruise on by, And swallows take chance for some water, from the clear pool as they fly. The many various trees of all shapes, shades of green and different sizes, Growing berries and fruits and other local food prizes. The hospitality of this place, well it’s just simply amazing from the start, Their style, presentation and delivery, down to a fine art. You are made to feel welcome from the very moment that you arrive, Just what was needed for us, after such a long drive. There was Michele the manager, Leonardo and Matteo too, Nothing was too much trouble and they did all they can do. The rooms are spacious with every detail so meticulously planned to suit, Double shower and twin wash basins and a huge queen bed to boot. The shower wash, conditioner and body lotion and all locally made, Provided in abundance in such presentation and professionally laid. The view out over the hills, is what totally sells this wonderful place, The elegance and perfection, is truly a thing of grace. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available and all provided within, Catering for all with meats dishes, vegan or choice of vegetarian. To be able to dine as we did and watch the sun carefully lay down, Surrounded by other various diners all smiling, not a single frown. The August heat is exceptional, as are the crystal blue skies, Such a difference to British weather and certainly a far cry. We were simply lost in the moment and the total perfection of it all, The best stay ever not an understatement, we simply had a ball. Looking for a stay in Tuscany, look no further than Greve in Chianti right now, It’s 10 out of 10 rating, is very simple to see somehow. I’ve never been to any place, where I’ve said that I would return for sure, But this place grabbed our hearts and reminded us what’s pure. Neil Springall August 2024

From the time we arrived to the time we left, the staff at Pieve Aldina took every measure to make my family (2 young children) feel at home. They went above and beyond - two specific examples: 1) we went to the concierge desk to look for kids’ activities in the area. When a few options weren’t available, one of the concierge even contacted her landlord to get recommendations, given they had young family members. 2) Being from America, our young children aren’t quite used to the later start times for dinner in Europe. The staff helped to arrange an earlier dinner, prior to the opening of the restaurant, for our kids which was much appreciated. The chateau itself is beautiful with great views of the Chianti hills. It is a really convenient location for access to wineries and some of the other Chianti villages. In terms of food, we had some of our best meals in Tuscany on-site at the dining options they had. The staff is knowledgeable and makes recommendations on food and wine pairings. We were very sad to leave, but hope to be back some day.
