Das Hotel ist nicht weit vom Blauen See entfernt. Vom Blauen See bis zu den heißen Quellen, um hier zu leben, ist es einfach, am nächsten Tag zum Flughafen zu gelangen. Es ist Self-Check-In. Jede Kabine hat einen Check-In-Code. Suchen Sie Ihr Zimmer und geben Sie den Code ein, um den Schlüssel zu erhalten. Der Laden ist sehr enthusiastisch. Ich spreche nicht sehr gut Englisch. Sie fuhr hierher, um die Tür für mich zu öffnen. Das Zimmer war sauber. Es wäre in Ordnung, wenn ich in einer kleinen Kabine kochen könnte.

Wir haben für unsere ganze 8-Tage-Reise nach Island aus den USA geblieben. Wir sind eine Familie von 4 und das Familienzimmer war eine schöne Größe, um uns zu passen. Der Ort war sehr sauber und die Betten und Kissen waren komfortabel. Vogar ist ca 20-30 min außerhalb von Reykjavik, aber wert der Fahrt. Der Besitzer lebt auch dort, so dass sie, wenn etwas nötig ist, sofort helfen kann. Sie traf uns und begrüßte alle mit einem Lächeln und einem Handschüttel. Hoch empfohlen Arktis Wind!

Second time staying at Start Keflavik hostel because i had great experience there. It’s near to the airport by bus/car. Bonus / Kronan supermarket are within 30 minutes walk and along the way you get to snap some nice photos of the surroundings. Staff were very friendly and helpful and i had a good chat with the Chinese lady. Very spacious, cosy and clean amenities especially the recreation room, lounge and dining hall. Guests are provided with coffee, tea and other beverages at anytime. A wonderful place highly recommended for all travellers!

Ein fünfminütiges Fahren zum Flughafen. Das Hotel bietet eine Art Fahrt zum Flughafen, aber Sie müssen im Voraus buchen, wenn Sie hier bleiben. Zimmer waren geräumig und sauber. Badezimmer war hervorragend. Frühstückszeiten sind sehr frühe Reisende zu bekommen. Insgesamt, toller Ort zu bleiben!

Located in the airport town of Keflavik, near the cargo terminal , while KEF international about 10 minutes drive away. We stayed here becos we need to catch the 7am flight to London gatwick .Clean n comfy. Love the small lobby n sitting area. Small kitchen but comfy , complimentary coffee free flow. Met the sweet lady owner , she chit chat a bit with my fren. A frequent traveller herself. Highly recommend if you need hotel near KEF airport.

We got there just before midnight and we had a bit of a tricky time finding the hotel! It's in a block of flats and we couldn't see the hotel name anywhere (we did see in the morning that the name is just a non transparent foil with ABC on the windows). When we went inside the vestibule, we saw a piece of paper with an arrow pointing to the reception desk. It was glued by adhesive tape, which was a bit strange. It all looked a little spooky, to be honest! The self-check-in is really quick and easy if you're already inside. We didn't see anyone using the self-check-in or self-check-out during our stay, which was really nice after all (yeas, we are introverts) The hotel rooms are fine, if a little minimalistic and spartan. The hotel has everything you need for one night. TV is in a bit of an awkward position for anyone trying to get to the bed. The sink is a little small. But the price is fair and not high compared to other choices in Iceland, which is great! I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who's flying out in the morning and does not need luxury. It's really handy that you can leave from the airport.

Was our last night in Iceland, stayed here as had an early flight next morning to catch. Located near the airport and we were taken aback when we arrived as there were no parking spots available with the lots used as spaces for airport parking. No one manned the front desk and we had to call to get our room and access code. Room was good size for 4 people and we needed the space for our last minute packing for our flight out in the morning. Room has an ensuite bathroom and open Wifi. There is a shared kitchen and rest area in the guesthouse which has coffee, tea, juice, TV, sofa and dining table. Comfortable, warm and quiet overall. To our surprise there was even a jail cell within the guesthouse. Not sure the background of the guesthouse. In the morning was surprised to find breakfast spread out from 6am in the kitchen though we were not told it was provided. We did not have time to consume any but to get hot water for our flask to rush to the airport. Nearby Reykjanesbær do not miss out eating places like Issi fish &chips and a Bonus and Kronan supermarket.

An excellent place to stay and only 9 mins from the airport. Great to stay on arrival or night before departure. We were met by the owner, Reynir. The B&B was homely, warm and welcoming. Our bedroom was the music room, where the decoration of the room was musical instruments along the ceiling. A very quirky, different kind of property situated next to the sea. I only had to cross a road to view the Northern Lights who were displayed beautifully. We had a lovely breakfast before setting off on our trip. Transfers and drops offs to the airport are offered, but we had a hired car. There was also use of a fabulous hot tub. Would definitely recommend Ravens B&B
