Die Erfahrung im Hotel war schön und wunderbar.. Die Gastfreundschaft war sehr warm und hilfreich, vor allem der Mangaler und Front Desk war sehr hilfreich, wenn wir angerufen, der Schwimmbad war sauber und sauber, Meeresfood war schmackhaft schön Zimmer sauber und sauber, aber brauchen ein wenig Verbesserung Gesamterfahrung war Gut.

The resort is a good property especially for family with kids. Good location, good vibes. The only thing that can be improved is the ambience and the service. The staff is polite, serves you well. Need improvements with basic services like providing complimentary water bottle for the day without asking. But a place worth recommending for a good stay and family getaway!

Reaching zostel kolad is fairly easy its a 3 hour journey from either mumbai or pune (drive from pune is really scenic. Zostel is located on the banks of kundalika river. We need to cross the river to reach zostel and zostel provides a ferry service for this, which also a unique experience. It is a beautiful property with clean rooms, outdoor sports (badminton, volleyball & cricket, indoor activities (table tennis, carrom and etc) and amazing restaurant. Zostel kolad particularly lights up after 7pm. There are multiple activities organized by zostel every night involving dance, music, drinks and lot of food. Truly, it was an amazing experience making me want to extend my stay (unfortunately they were fully booked. Ps: book your stay a month early. They sell out very quickly particularly on weekends.

GGastnutzerRadha's Cottage is a lovely retreat, very well located at the end of the road in Matheran. It's a simple place, furnished largely with period furniture. The food is outstanding - the best I've had in 6 weeks of traveling in India.
For those who are unfamiliar with Matheran as I was, a couple pieces of information:
- The ”toy train” runs very infrequently. Be sure to get a schedule if you plan to take it from the parking.
- It's a 4.5km walk from the train station near the parking to Radha's. Don't believe the stationmaster if he tells you it's a 20 minute walk, it's an hour's walk.
- It's still another 1.5km from the train station in the village to Radha's. If you've got a bag it's probably a good idea to get some help from a porter.
- Sometimes the electricity goes out. When we stayed, these outages were brief, just a minute or 2.
- Sometimes the water in the bathroom is dark brown. This surprised us one morning. It's dirt, and cleared during the course of the day.

GGastnutzerDies ist eine historische Lage in Matheran. Ratheesh und sein Geschäftspartner waren so willkommen und hilfreich und die Unterkunft ist so voll von Charakter. Für einen wirklich „grünen“ und einzigartige Aufenthalt in einer völlig einzigartigen Lage ist die Veranda im Wald absolut eine Notwendigkeit. Das ist zweifellos der Ort, um in Matheran zu bleiben, wenn Sie ein Zimmer bekommen - würden Sie vorschlagen, früh zu buchen, damit Sie nicht die Chance, hier zu bleiben verpassen - und ist so viel mehr als ein Hotel.
Das Essen war großartig und wegen der Größe und Layout schien nie besetzt. Ruhig und entspannend bleiben.
Da es kein Telefonsignal in der Station Matheran Hill gibt, würde ich vorschlagen, Ratheesh zu kontaktieren, bevor der Aufstieg zum Bahnhof für Ortsanweisungen gemacht wird. Es gibt Wi-Fi am Veranda im Wald.

YYanniSehr komfortabeles Zimmer, in einem ruhigen und entspannenden Ort von Matheran. Gemütliches Essen und vor allem sehr freundliches und bedienbares Personal! Unser Aufenthalt war wunderschön, wir haben es sogar für zwei weitere Nächte ohne Probleme verlängert. Das Hotelpersonal war immer bereit, uns bei allen Fragen zu helfen. Das Zimmer war groß und mit allen notwendigen Dingen.

GGastnutzerDie Lage ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand. Zimmer sind sauber. Essen ist etwas teuer, aber erfreulicher Frühstück war gut. Ausstattung ist gut. Schwimmbad ist zu nah zum Eingang und Hilfedesk so könnte es sich etwas schrecklich fühlen, wenn Sie nicht dazu verwendet werden. Service ist gut. Gute Erfahrung insgesamt.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities met my basic needs. However, there were a few areas where improvement is needed. The room interior is not so good. The wi-fi signal was a bit weak, and the breakfast options were somewhat limited. Additionally, there was some noise from neighboring rooms, which affected the overall tranquility of my stay. In summary, hotel mari aai provided a decent stay, but there is room for enhancement in terms of amenities, interior design and noise isolation. I would consider staying here again, depending on my needs for future trips”
