Perfect location and rooms were lovely. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the beds were very comfortable. There are definitely some things that could be better. Would let guest know its over bath shower in advance of stay, people have mobility issues and with modern bathrooms assume these things might be accessible but climbing into bath for a shower was not ideal. After a long day driving and touring would be nice to have tv reception in room, it was really bad reception and very few channels to browse. Breakfast ‘hot’ foot was not hot and got even colder with only having cold plates to put the food on to. Toasters are so slow, need to put toast on 10 minutes before rest of food. Iron and table in room would be good. These things wouldn’t put us off staying but they are all things that take away the shine of a nice place.

Gestern Abend hier mit Freunden geblieben. Ich habe sehr herzlich willkommen! Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zwillingezimmer war klein und datiert, aber uns störte nicht, da wir nur irgendwo nach den Getränken den Kopf werfen mussten. Die Zimmer sind wirklich mit schwarzen Blinden oder Gürteln versetzt. Wir waren spät zum Frühstück, aber das Mädchen zwang uns mit dem vielleicht schönsten Frühstück, das ich je in einem Hotel/b&b empfangen habe. Wäre sicher noch einmal hier bleiben. nichts Fantasie, sondern komfortable saubere Betten, erstaunliche Gastfreundschaft und beste Frühstück jemals. Großer Wert für Geld auch

The Kilford Arms is a small, comfortable hotel. My wife and I stayed here on the last night of our tour. We had a very large room, with one queen and three twin beds. We only needed the queen. Our room had four chairs, which was a very pleasant surprise, as I don't think I've ever seen more than two chairs before. The room had a large area to hang clothes, and also provided some storage by the desk. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well.

Die Bewertung geht an den Ormonde Leisure Club vom Hotel. Mein Praktikum dort war die beste Erfahrung die ich machen konnte mit der besten Chefin Elaine Sherwood. Elaine ist eine tolle Persönlichkeit mit sehr viel Erfahrung und Sympathie. Ich bin ihr sehr dankbar für alles was sie mir beigebracht hat und mir mit auf dem Weg gegeben hat. Ich werde auf jeden Fall nochmal nach Irland kommen und ich hoffe dass die Elaine immer noch dort sein wird und mit ihrer Lebensfreude und Elan den Club am Laufen hält. Dankeschön über Die Zeit dort berichte ich wirklich sehr gerne.

Location was great; easy to walk to everything we wanted to see. The room was clean and had all we needed. Like all other hotels in Ireland, there is no air conditioning in the room, but the fan provided in the room helped a bit on what was probably an unusually warm summer evening. Breakfast was very good, too. The hotel bar was nice, with live music in the evening, too. Just be aware that if your room is facing the road and your window is open, it could be noisy at night due to surrounding bars/pubs. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful hotel, We had a few small issues with our room not being serviced on the second day of our stay. Also on the third day the bed was made up, but we were left with no towels or water. I had to ask one of the housekeepers on tje corridor for towels. Not what you would expect from a four star hotel . Breakfast was a big let down, the full Irish was like something you would get in a petrol station deli counter. Cheapest of ingredients the bacon and sausage and hash brown were disgusting . This in no way was a four star breakfast. We asked for soft eggs and on both mornings the were like hockey pucks, Also the coffee in the bar is dreadful. An espresso arrived in a tea cup!! I have to say the plus + rooms were fab and spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel. It would rake very little to really make this an amazing hotel I would start with the quality of the breakfast .There were two staff members who were absolutely outstanding and made up for the shortcomings of other departments . Helena and Tony were exemplary They epitomize how things should be done.Without doubt Helena and Tony need to be recognised for their friendliness and being so helpful. Also the night porter on Monday night was top and the young Irish lad behind the bar Probably wouldn't stay again because of the housekeeping and terrible breakfast.
