I’ve spent 2 nights at The Garzon Plaza Hotel for a wedding. The hotel was clean and tidy: both my room and the communal areas include. The room has had a new AC, which is absolutely necessary during the 35-40 deg summer months in Hungary. All staff members were very polite and friendly. And they have had a very professional approach to all of my inquiries without hesitation. Krisztian at the reception was friendly, skilled, quick and efficient at the check-in. Their bistro called Husevo means “Meat-eater” in English. Being a vegan it was quite shocking at the first time, however their highly experienced and skilled staff has managed to overcome on this obstacle with an extremely polite manner. The waiter, Janos had international working experience therefore he made my inquiry absolutely natural. The chef has made me one of the best grilled vegan experiences I’ve ever had (try the mashed potato with truffles). These gentlemen and Monika at the bar deserve a great incentive, as they are truly great assets of the hotel. I’ve also asked for shirt-pressing in the early morning (5-6am), and it has been done quickly. I used to work for hotels in London, but this hotel brings all the values that can elevate their hospitality onto an international level. The location is far from the centre, however they have plenty of parking space, and it gives you the opportunity to gain access easily to the countryside, if you want to go for a trip. Furthermore they also have a jacuzzi and a swimming pool that I regrettably haven’t tried due to my heavily scheduled errands, however I have no doubt that it could be lovely and relaxing for some. I only have had lovely experiences over there, which raises the bar, as the country itself has some hospitality issues. Thank you Everyone, it was a pleasant and great experience. I will definitely go back, and I recommend it for everyone who wants to be a bit away from the city centres.

Waren op familiebezoek en zowel op de heenreis als terugreis hier overnacht. Wij hadden superieur kamers in het nieuwe deel van het hotel. Mooie ruime kamer en prima badkamer. Het hotel heeft een afgesloten parkeerplaats achter het gebouw. Het ligt in een woonwijk, waardoor je lopend geen restaurant zult tegenkomen. Dat bleek ook niet nodig, want het hotel heeft een prima keuken. Vanaf de snelweg is het snel bereikbaar. Op de terugweg zijn wij dan ook bewust hier naar teruggegaan.

Das Hotel befindet sich im Zentrum von Györ und Sie können direkt zum Szechenyi-Platz gehen. Die Straßen sind breit, romantisch und künstlerisch und es liegt in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Machen Sie einen Spaziergang zur Raba River Bridge und gehen Sie auf die Spitze des Bischofsschlosses mit Blick auf die Stadt. Im Sommer fliegen Hubschrauber oft herum, um Medikamente zu sprühen, um Mücken und Fliegen abzutöten. Wenn Sie mit Ihren Lieben durch die Straßen schlendern möchten, nicht in Panik geraten, essen und trinken möchten, ist dies auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Die Lichter in der Nacht machten Gyle charmanter. Riesiges schwenkbares Schweizer Taschenmesser, Straßen mit verschiedenen Statuen und Schildern, dicker alter europäischer Stil. Das Hotel ist ein bisschen alt und die Innenausstattung ist immer noch sehr künstlerisch. Es gibt viele alte hübsche Kellner, die sich von fast allen jungen Mädchen in China als Kellner völlig unterscheiden. Die Adresse des Szechenyi-Platzes auf der Ctrip-Homepage war ungenau und sie rannten zu den Vororten, die sich tatsächlich in der Nähe des Hotels befanden. Es gibt auch ein Restaurant, das von einem Zhejiangese auf der Straße eröffnet wurde, was sehr gut ist. Kurz gesagt, es lohnt sich, dieses Hotel Gyor zu empfehlen.

I normally enjoy staying at Accor hotels, but unfortunately this was not case at Gyor. It took nearly an hour to check in due to the Reception guy not having any time management skills. Our party of three turned up early evening having eventually finding the hotel in pouring rain as google showed the wrong location. We waited our turn, or we did, only to be told by the Receptionist that two Asian Gentlemen who were sitting in the bar area were before. Fair enough. However it took the Receptionist 40 mins to check them in due to them asking him lots of questions. What he should have doe, bearing in mind that time was moving on and there was a queue forming, was suggest that the two gentlemen go to their rooms and then come back when reception was quieter. This was birthday holiday. I blame Accor for the training of this said Receptionist. I will now think twice about staying in Accor Hotels again as it certainly ruined our stay in such a beautiful city.

Das ist als 3-Sterne-Hotel unten, ich denke, es könnte einfach mehr sein. Das Hotel ist gut in Gyor gelegen, ja, seine kleine, aber extrem sauber. Das Personal ist so hilfsbereit und so freundlich vor allem das Mädchen auf der Rezeption Victoria. Die Lage des Hotels funktioniert perfekt für mich und meine Frau, da sie derzeit hier in Gyor arbeitet. Ich empfehle dieses süßen, freundlichen Hotel 100% an jemand und wird überprüfen
