Das Hotel ist sehr idyllisch zwischen Kallithea und Afytos gelegen. Die Anlage und Zimmer sind sehr schön und gepflegt. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für das Abendessen und den Service beim Abendessen. Für kleinere Mängel im Zimmer hätte ich gerne noch 1/2 Punkt abgezogen. Das Hotel ist gut, aber aus meiner Sicht nicht sehr gut. Allerdings ist die Bezeichnung „befriedigend“ bei 3 Sternen auch nicht gerechtfertigt. Eine ausführliche Erklärung folgt. Lage: Das Hotel liegt etwa 1 Fahrstunde vom Flughafen Thessaloniki entfernt. Zu Fuß erreicht man in ca. 15 Minuten den Ortskern von Afytos mit einigen kleinen Bäckereien und Supermärkten. Abends lädt das schöne Örtchen zum Bummeln, Essen gehen oder Cocktails trinken ein. In die andere Richtung erreicht man in ca. 25 Minuten zu Fuß die Einkaufsstraßen von Kallithea, mit vielen kleinen Läden und einer großen Auswahl an Restaurants, Bars und Tavernen. Die Wege zu beiden Ortschaften sind beleuchtet und man kann dort guten Gewissens auch im Dunkeln laufen (wir waren 2 Frauen und haben uns sicher gefühlt). Strand: Das Hotel selbst hat keinen eigenen Strand. Über die bereits oft erwähnten 155 Stufen (oder alternativ eine länge Straße) erreicht man den Strand von Afytos. 2 Liegen und einen Sonnenschirm bekommt man für 12€ Verzehr. Sprich man muss sich an der dazugehörigen Bar etwas für 12€ kaufen (z. B. 2x Cola für je 5€ und 2x 0,5l Wasser für je 1€). Die Liegen und der Strand sind sehr sauber. An der Bar gibt es Duschen und Toiletten. Es ist ein feiner Sandstrand mit einigen Felsen und Steinen im Wasser. Es gibt einen kleinen Abschnitt, bei dem sich keine größeren Steine im Wasser befinden und somit ein Zugang problemlos ohne Wasserschuhe möglich ist. Der Strand geht flach abfallend ins Meer und man kann noch einige Meter gut stehen. Das Wasser ist super sauber und glasklar. Handtücher für den Strand kosten 50 Cent pro Handtuch. Anlage: Die Hotelanlage verfügt über mehrere einzelne Gebäude, sowie einen großen und kleinen Pool. In der Lobby gibt es eine Leseecke und ein großes Bücherregal mit Wanderbüchern. Beide Pools sind sehr tief und für kleine Kinder nicht geeignet (mind. 90cm tief). Am Pool gibt es Duschen, Umkleidekabinen und Toiletten. Es gibt ausreichend Sonnenschirme und Liegen, sowie größere Sonnenbetten. Die Handtücher für den Pool sind kostenfrei. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Fitnessraum, der jedoch zu unserer Zeit geschlossen war (warum ist mir ein Rätsel). Zudem gibt es einen kostenpflichtigen Wellnessbereich. Vor dem Hotel gibt es sehr viele kostenfreie, überdachte Parkplätze und einen kleinen Spielplatz. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und man hat einen fantastischen Ausblick aufs Meer und Sithonia. Zimmer: Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und verfügen über einen Kleiderschrank, einen kleinen Kühlschrank (nur ca. 8cm tief und für Flaschen gedacht), sowie einen Schreibtisch mit Stuhl. Die Matratze und das Kissen waren mir zu hart (aber das ist Geschmacksache). Alle Zimmer haben zudem einen

Sie waren so nett und hilfsbereit und erklärten uns, welche Strände wir besuchen sollten, welche Restaurants wir besuchten und was wir im Allgemeinen alles brauchten. Die Suiten sind ruhig, modern, sauber und haben alles, was Sie brauchen! Die Zimmer sind so schön, dass man am liebsten den ganzen Tag drinnen bleiben möchte, denn sie haben alles, was man braucht! Der Infinity-Pool mit Blick auf das Meer war fantastisch. Sie haben die Möglichkeit, ein Boot zu mieten, was ein Muss ist, da es sicher ist und eine weitere wunderbare Möglichkeit bietet, die Insel in der Nähe zu erkunden. Alles in allem war dies einer der besten Aufenthalte, die wir weltweit hatten. Wir werden es nie vergessen. Und ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen, wenn Sie auf der Suche nach einer Unterkunft sind!

Wir waren dort im September und sprachen mit dem Personal, sie sagen, es wird unglaublich beschäftigt im Juli/Aug. Manic war das Wort verwendet. Persönlich würde ich diese Termine vermeiden. Die große Frage für mich war der Preis der Ala-carte Restaurants. Echt teuer. Chancen sind Sie nicht besuchen, wenn Sie auf der halben Platte sogar mit den 15pp € sie auf die Fanzierrestaurants aus. Der Preis von Getränken im Allgemeinen und Wein im Besonderen ist lächerlich. Es scheint eine Wahl von rotem Wein durch das Glas zu geben. Nur eine. Griechenland produziert viele rote Weine so nur mit einem durch das Glas, das 150ml Glas - bei €11 ein Glas. Bonkers. Wir hatten in Thessaloniki Weine bei €5 für eine halbe Flasche und sogar in fantastischen Restaurants in Thessaloniki, schöne Restaurants, wir zahlten nicht mehr als €7 ein Glas mit viel Wahl. So persönlich - wenn Sie nach unten fahren, ich würde in einem guten Weinshop oder sogar Lidl, die etwa eine halbe Stunde entfernt ist und genießen Sie Ihren Wein auf Ihrer schönen Terrasse. JJanineTeeDas Hotel ist sehr idyllisch zwischen Kallithea und Afytos gelegen. Die Anlage und Zimmer sind sehr schön und gepflegt. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für das Abendessen und den Service beim Abendessen. Für kleinere Mängel im Zimmer hätte ich gerne noch 1/2 Punkt abgezogen. Das Hotel ist gut, aber aus meiner Sicht nicht sehr gut. Allerdings ist die Bezeichnung „befriedigend“ bei 3 Sternen auch nicht gerechtfertigt. Eine ausführliche Erklärung folgt. Lage: Das Hotel liegt etwa 1 Fahrstunde vom Flughafen Thessaloniki entfernt. Zu Fuß erreicht man in ca. 15 Minuten den Ortskern von Afytos mit einigen kleinen Bäckereien und Supermärkten. Abends lädt das schöne Örtchen zum Bummeln, Essen gehen oder Cocktails trinken ein. In die andere Richtung erreicht man in ca. 25 Minuten zu Fuß die Einkaufsstraßen von Kallithea, mit vielen kleinen Läden und einer großen Auswahl an Restaurants, Bars und Tavernen. Die Wege zu beiden Ortschaften sind beleuchtet und man kann dort guten Gewissens auch im Dunkeln laufen (wir waren 2 Frauen und haben uns sicher gefühlt). Strand: Das Hotel selbst hat keinen eigenen Strand. Über die bereits oft erwähnten 155 Stufen (oder alternativ eine länge Straße) erreicht man den Strand von Afytos. 2 Liegen und einen Sonnenschirm bekommt man für 12€ Verzehr. Sprich man muss sich an der dazugehörigen Bar etwas für 12€ kaufen (z. B. 2x Cola für je 5€ und 2x 0,5l Wasser für je 1€). Die Liegen und der Strand sind sehr sauber. An der Bar gibt es Duschen und Toiletten. Es ist ein feiner Sandstrand mit einigen Felsen und Steinen im Wasser. Es gibt einen kleinen Abschnitt, bei dem sich keine größeren Steine im Wasser befinden und somit ein Zugang problemlos ohne Wasserschuhe möglich ist. Der Strand geht flach abfallend ins Meer und man kann noch einige Meter gut stehen. Das Wasser ist super sauber und glasklar. Handtücher für den Strand kosten 50 Cent pro Handtuch. Anlage: Die Hotelanlage verfügt über mehrere einzelne Gebäude, sowie einen großen und kleinen Pool. In der Lobby gibt es eine Leseecke und ein großes Bücherregal mit Wanderbüchern. Beide Pools sind sehr tief und für kleine Kinder nicht geeignet (mind. 90cm tief). Am Pool gibt es Duschen, Umkleidekabinen und Toiletten. Es gibt ausreichend Sonnenschirme und Liegen, sowie größere Sonnenbetten. Die Handtücher für den Pool sind kostenfrei. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Fitnessraum, der jedoch zu unserer Zeit geschlossen war (warum ist mir ein Rätsel). Zudem gibt es einen kostenpflichtigen Wellnessbereich. Vor dem Hotel gibt es sehr viele kostenfreie, überdachte Parkplätze und einen kleinen Spielplatz. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und man hat einen fantastischen Ausblick aufs Meer und Sithonia. Zimmer: Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und verfügen über einen Kleiderschrank, einen kleinen Kühlschrank (nur ca. 8cm tief und für Flaschen gedacht), sowie einen Schreibtisch mit Stuhl. GGastnutzerEinfach ein unbeschreiblich Schönes Hotel. Wir sind absolut zufrieden. Die Empfangshalle ist hell, freundlich, groß Und einladend. Ein großer Raum mit Rezeption, Pool, Restaurant und Frühstücksbereich, Buffet, Bar. Selbstverständlich alles top sauber. Die Zimmer sind traumhaft! Der Ausblick aus der 6. Etage ist tatsächlich ein Paradies. Rundherum sieht man das Meer. Das Zimmer ist ausreichend groß mit Doppelbett, schminktisch mit Spiegel, Sitzbank, Schrank, safe. Das Bad verfügt über einen Fön, großem Spiegel, Regendusche. Zu dem Zimmer gehört natürlich ein Balkon auf dem super süß ein kleiner Tisch steht mit 2 Stühlen und einer Strandliege. Zu dem Zimmer auch eine funktionierende Klimaanlage (heizt und kühlt super) Die Anbindung nach Thessaloniki ist gar nicht so schwer. Entweder mit dem Auto über die Autobahn und mn ist in 30/40 min da oder man nimmt den Fermbus, steigt am Busbahnhof in den stadtbus um und braucht etwa 1 Stunde und 15 min. Die Tickets sind relativ günstig. 3.60 für den Fernbus und 1.80 für den stadtbus. Im Ort selbst kann man den Tag auch gut verbringen. Kleine Souvenirshops, meeeeega gutes Essen und ein toller Strand. Die Menschen im Ort sind allesamt freundlich Das Personal im Hotel ist besonders aufmerksam, hilfsbereit, jederzeit erreichbar und äußerst freundlich. Das Frühstück änderte sich täglich ein bisschen. Die Auswahl am Buffet war groß. Es ist Für jeden etwas dabei gewesen. Ob herzhaft, süß, vegetarisch. Jeder hat hier etwas gefunden. Abends gab's dann, alternativ zum auswärts essen, a la carte. Vorspeise, eine Auswahl zwischen 2 Salaten, 2/3 Hauptgerichten, Nachspeise. Das ganze für 15, -. Was das betrifft kann ich mich allerdings nicht mehr äußern weil wir nicht im Restaurant gegessen haben. Das wellness und spa Angebot haben wir leider zeitlich nicht mehr geschafft zu nutzen. Für 5,- könnte man in den Wellnessbereich des Hotels für eine Stunde und dort ins Hamam, whirlpool und einem weiteren Pool. Ebenso gab es eine Reihe von Massageangeboten die man extra buchen konnte. Alles in einem war das secret paradise für uns das Beste was wir buchen konnten und wir waren absolut zufrieden. Wir haben gut geschlafen, gut getrunken, gut gegessen, vor allem haben wir uns Sehr gut erholt und der service ist absolut klasse. Wir sind im Oktober 2021 zu Gast gewesen und haben leider nicht so gutes Wetter erlebt. Zum Sommer möchten wir aber unbedingt wieder Gast im secret Paradise sein.

GGastnutzerSuper Location, leider katastrophales Management Das Hotel ist brandneu und Design und Location sind wirklich sehr schön. Der Hotelstrand ist super, das Wasser ein Traum. Der nächstgelegene Ort mit vielen Restaurants (Nikiti) ist mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreicht. Leider passen jedoch Service und Management überhaupt nicht. Die Zimmerreinigung ist absolut ungenügend, das Essen nicht gut, unter aller aller Würde, also unterirdisch, schlechter als der schlechteste Kantinen-”frass” (sorry, aber es gibt wirklich kein anderes Wort dazu) und das Personal war überfordert. Wir haben nach dem ersten Tag vermieden, überhaupt im Hotel zu essen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist eine Katastrophe, da völlig überlastet. Überall liegen Essensreste auf dem Boden, es gibt nicht ausreichend Platz und neben den Gästen werden Teller in die Müllbehälter entleert. Absolut unappetitlich! Das Personal bemüht sich, sieht allerdings völlig überfordert und abgespannt aus. Alle laufen hin und her, sind jedoch keineswegs eingespielt, machen einen unprofessionellen Eindruck. Offene lange Haare, unsaubere Hemden, fleckige Hosen. Es gibt keinen guten Cappuccino, keinen frisch gepressten Orangensaft, keine Croissants, Fruchtsaft aus den Dosen Das Restaurant bietet zwar eine traumhafte Terrasse, das Essen ist jedoch unterirdisch und wird keinesfalls einem 5*-Haus gerecht, wie oben beschrieben nicht mal 1*-Haus Die Taverna am Strand bietet keine authentische griechische Küche und ist uninteressant. Die Beachbar liefert ungesundes Fast Food und auch hier herrscht Chaos. Die Toiletten am Strand und Pool sind nicht sauber. Die Bestelltische und Liegen am Strand werden nicht gereinigt, so dass sie fleckig und klebrig sind. Lidl Einkauftaschen (ca. 8 Auto Minuten entfernt) machten im Hotel die Runden. Ich war mehr als 35 Jahren Linienpilot und kenne sehr viele 5* Hotels auf dieser Welt, doch dieses Hotel wurde nie unterboten. Kann nur sagen, das war das schlechteste Haus betreffend Essen dass ich je angetroffen habe. Wenig Gäste nehmen sich leider die Zeit, alles ausführlich zu dokumentieren, denn die Antworten vom Management sind so oder so auch immer gleich dumm und sehr arrogant: Regarding the restaurant food from our 3 restaurants and the breakfast buffet, we are pretty surprised by your review as this does not reflect the comments, we have had so far this year from our other guests. Wer Luxus für einen Luxuspreis anbietet, muss auch Luxus bieten und darf sich nicht hinter Ausreden verstecken. Wir haben nach diesem schrecklichen Urlaub das Reisebüro ausführlich informiert und alles mit Bilder und Videos dokumentiert. Das Reisebüro hat uns die Kosten Halbpension vollumfänglich zurückerstattet.

GGastnutzerErstens das Positive. Das gesamte Hotelpersonal ist herzlich und einladend, entspannt und freundlich. Das Personal an der Poolbar ist sehr nett. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Aussicht war atemberaubend. Wir hatten einen seitlichen Blick auf das Meer und die Olivenhaine. Sehr hübsch und super friedlich. Wir haben dies über Secret Escapes gebucht, die normalerweise Luxusunterkünfte anbieten, aber dieses Hotel ist stellenweise sehr veraltet. Es wurde teilweise renoviert und diese Bereiche sind geschmackvoll in monochromen Farbtönen gehalten, aber die Flure sind ziemlich schmuddelig und die Zwischendeckenfliesen hängen im Rahmen durch. Die Treppen sehen staubig aus und würden eine gründliche Reinigung gebrauchen. Die Toiletten auf dem Boden waren bizarr, da die Toiletten die Türen daran hinderten, sich vollständig zu öffnen. Dumme Sache, aber ziemlich seltsam. Der Poolrand war grün, was wirklich schrecklich aussah, da man sich fragt, ob sich dort Bakterien befinden oder ob er einfach nur alt ist. Wenn ja, malen Sie es so, wie es wirklich abstoßend ist. Der Pool-Typ war jedoch sehr nett und die Poolhandtücher waren makellos. Das Essen war ganz nett, um ehrlich zu sein. Keine große Auswahl, aber was ich hatte, war immer lecker. Vor allem das Frühstück war gut, tolle Rühreier. Wir zahlten jeweils 300 £ für 3 Nächte und dann weitere 200 £ für die Taxifahrt vom Flughafen Thessaloniki. Versuchen Sie also, einen Transfer in die Reise einzuplanen, da dies unvorhergesehen war. Es ist weit vom Flughafen entfernt. Insgesamt würde ich dem Hotel 2/3 Sterne geben, was schade ist, denn das Personal ist so nett und ich kann sehen, wie sehr es sich bemüht 4 Sterne.
