Galaxy hotel is a good place to stay, if you want a mid-way experience. First of all, the prices are not high, so your expectations also shouldn't be :) Located 30 minutes away from downtown of Athens, with a great tram and bus connections, this place is conveniently located for also the big city experience and the beach experience. Rooms are clean and equipt ok. However, the space is limited and if your room is looking at the beach (which looked so attractive when we were booking our stay) this is where the nightmare begins! Just in front of the hotel is a boulevard, which seems like a real high way! Although the rooms have a nice balcony, we never used it since the dust and the noise is so bad and very disturbing. Breakfast offer was ok, a simple continental breakfast with a limited, but nice selection of courses. However, the courses are the same every day. Although it is a ok place for a 3 star hotel, and we didn't expect too much of it for the price we paid, the boulevard experience has lower our impression much more.

Check in and out was very quick and easy. Based on other reviews we didn't bother with the breakfast so I can't comment there. The room was a nice size, bed a little firmer than I enjoy, sleep couch pretty comfortable, and the bathroom was nicely equipped. They are constructing a new building across the street and they start early, well early for us. About 7am is when they started to working on which was a bit bothersome due to our late night. Otherwise the room was nice and we enjoyed the proximity to Bikini Beach, which was nice and clean for my family to enjoy. I think once that building is completed, this could be a nice location for future visits.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, die Nachtblicke sind wunderschön. Die Umgebung ist auch gut, sehr bequem. Frühstück ist sehr gut. Der Service ist OK, wenn Sie sich aufhalten, sonst möchten Sie das Zimmer mit einer Terrasse aktualisieren.

The design of the suites is rare in that it is spacious. I had the Penthouse Suite which extended the entire side of the hotel. It had balconies on all three sides so you could open the balcony doors and get a summer breeze. I only turned on the air conditioner for my room as mosquitoes will bite you in the early morning. The spectacular ”Ocean Front” view give you a 180 degree view of the Agean Riviera. You could watch the sunrise from the front balcony and watch the full sunset from the balcony or dining room. I could have just stay in the suite all day. The towels and linens are first rate and the hotel will supply you more than you need. Their normal schedule is to clean your room every other day but when I asked they agreed to clean my room every day. I was concerned as the hotel has not been open much for two years due to covid. But everything was like the reviews of two years ago. One important tip is to email or call the hotel directly to make a reservation. You will get a much better rate. The rate I received ($333) was about the same as a hotel room in Athens. It is 7 miles to Athens center and about a $19 Uber fare. Do use Uber. I had a taxi driver that wanted to charge me 250 Euros for the trip. For your GPS and Uber you have to enter your destination as Scale Suites. For some reason the GPS and Uber d0 not recognize the address. The closest ”supermarket” was about the size of a large closet. One further away was the size of a 7-11 store. Restaurants in the area are not very good. But the city Alimos is much nicer than Athens. Not as much graffiti and few beggars and homeless people. If you have a rental car the garage under the hotel makes it so convenient to park your car and walk 10 steps to the elevator that takes you to your suite. In cooler times they have a real fireplace and they sell you bundles of logs. While this is a good hotel it is not the Four Seasons. The manager will probably be unshaven and wearing an old T-shirt. The staff is attired properly. The two hot tubs on the roof allow you have a glass of champagne while having a panoramic view of the coast as well as the mountains in the opposite direction. If you stay at Scale Suites I can assure you will love Athens. But book very early (you have to pay for the entire stay when you book) to get one of the best suites. The Excelsior Suites are not available in the summer time.

Ήταν τέλεια πολύ όμορφο δωμάτιο όπως το είχαμε δει σε φωτογραφίες ωραίο κρεβάτι το τζακουζι ύπεροχο και καθαρό το προσωπικό εξυπηρετικό φουλ....όλα τέλεια το συστήνω..είχε ησυχία ήταν κοντά στην παραλία...αλλά και από το κέντρο με το μέτρο από τα mall,Αγίου Δημητρίου

Die Lage ist absolut top. Straßenbahn in Gehweite, mit der man direkt an den Sintagma Platz fahren kann und vor der Türe gibt es unzählige Beach Clubs für jedes Budget. Glyfada zum Shoppen ist ebenfalls mit der Straßenbahn in ca. 20 Minuten erreicht. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr klein und die Auswahl ganz ok. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Leider war der Pool nicht in Betrieb und auch die Hotelbar war leider nie geöffnet. Das fanden wir sehr schade. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und es war immer alles tip top.
