Finde Hotels in Windsor

Hier verblieben letzte Woche für zwei Tage. Es ist ein schönes ehemaliges Haus und wunderschön. Zimmer war nicht riesig, aber groß genug, mit einem schönen Badezimmer und einem Tube. Es gibt keinen Aufzug, aber sie werden Ihr Gepäck für Sie aufnehmen und abnehmen. Das Personal ist nett und freundlich. Die Frau, die das Restaurant überwacht, war sehr nett und hilfreich. Zimmer haben kein Kühlschrank, aber sie boten an, unsere Getränke in der Küche Kühlschrank für uns zu setzen. Hatte Frühstück und ein Abendessen im Restaurant/Lounge und das Essen war gut. Die Lage ist gut.. Wahrscheinlich eine 10-minütige einfache Spazierfahrt zum Schloss und Einzelhandel, wo es viele Restaurants und Geschäfte gibt. Wie andere bereits erwähnt, gibt es einen Park, aber es ist ziemlich klein (Sie müssen einen Raum, den wir nicht erhalten konnten) und sehr eng. Sie empfehlen einen gewerblichen Park, der rund um ein 7-8 Minute zu Fuß entfernt ist....so nicht groß, aber nahe genug.

Ich habe in vielen Hotels geblieben, das ist nicht, was es sagt, es ist. Ein 4-Sterne hat keinen günstigen Kaffee in Kunststoffbeuteln im Zimmer, es hätte eine Podium-Maschine, das Zimmer war nur durchschnittlich und nichts besonderes, in der Tat habe ich bessere Zimmer bei einem Premier in bei 10x billiger. der Spa ist ein Witz, Der Whirlpool außerhalb des Bades ist die Größe eines Paddling Pool und ist gebrochen, sie haben eine Sauna, es ist ein Outdoor-Schacht, das wurde umgewandelt, alles in eine Art von Gewässer Weg. Das Frühstück ist sehr arm, der Bacon ist günstig, es hat weiße Gloop auf es, das ist von der Verwendung billige Brine Bacon nicht getrocknet, was ist, was die meisten Luxus-Hotels verwenden, und es ist unterkocht, ich beschwerte und sie haben sich entschlossen, einige für mich zu kochen. Sie verwenden auch keine lokalen Quellensauce und sie sind auch nicht gleichmäßig kocht, gleichmäßig geformt und aus einem großen günstigen Box zweifellos. Sie bitten Sie, die Maschine für Kaffee zu verwenden, ein 4-Sterne-Hotel hätte Kaffeefilter, wenn Sie fragen, sie machen einen Kupfer, aber nur wenn Sie fragen. Sie räumen nicht jeden Tag und ich wurde bei der Eincheckung gesagt, es kann 3 Tage vor dem Einchecken sein. Der Reiniger sagte mir, sie würden es jeden Tag tun, wenn Sie die Rezeption beantragt haben, warum nicht sagen sie das. Ich fand das Personal nicht besonders angenehm der Hauptrezeptionist, er sieht aus wie Jon Kay aus der BBC war nie angenehm, bei mehr als einer Gelegenheit ging er vor mir durch die Haupttür und niemals hält es so die Tür nahe in die Ich. Ja, er hat mich gesehen, weil er mich ansah, als er vor mir ging. Bezahlen fast £5000 für 9 Tage ist extortioniert und nicht in der Nähe eines 4-Sterne-Hotel, es ist ein niedriger 3 am besten sogar mit der einzigen Blick auf den Fluss aus der Bar. Das ist eine traurige Reflexion von Windsor, der sich stolz auf eine Königsstadt ist.

Stayed just the one night - two rooms - travelling with family to visit Windsor Castle. This accommodation totally met our needs. We were greeted by a friendly on site building manager /housekeeper/host/receptionist (a man of many talents!) who kindly checked us in an hour early. Both rooms were clean and extremely spacious - nice to have a dining table for takeout if required with spotless (and again large) bathrooms. It was a chilly weekend but rooms were quickly very warm and cosy once we turned on the electric heaters. Worth noting that there were also aircon units for summer use. It couldn’t be more centrally situated, tucked away on a small side street just steps from the Castle, High Street, and Royal Station shopping development. There is no on site parking but we went with the recommended King Edward V11 option about a ten minute walk out of town and reasonably priced at £10 per 24 hours. Nothing to fault beyond the fact that the other members of our party, whose room was at the end of the hotel closest to a neighbouring night, club did hear some noise but were not seriously disturbed. Two small but welcome additions to the room would be a fridge and coffee maker for which there is certainly space but this is a minor criticism. Also, just an observation - be aware this is not a traditional hotel with 24 hour reception. There is no reception as such but the friendly manager is there to admit and greet you between 9-5:30 pm (and he’ll happily look after your luggage during this period both before check-in and after checkout which is very helpful). Outside of those hours, access to the building is via key pad lock. We were initially a little nervous of this but it all worked well and was not a problem for us. In case of issues, there is an emergency out of hours phone number which is re-assuring. Self-service breakfast is available at a very reasonable price but can’t comment beyond that as didn’t take it. All in all, at the very reasonable price paid - we booked direct - this is highly recommended, excellent value accommodation for any Windsor stay and we’ll certainly be returning.

Well we bloody loved it! What a great stay. We stayed in one of the pirate rooms and our boy loved it. We got the birthday VIP package and it was fantastic! The amount of goodies given far exceeded what we expected and the boy was over the moon. He loved the decor and so did we. Room was spotless! Self service check in is fine by us because there was a help desk to visit and any time we needed something the staff were very helpful. The kids entertainment in the bar area was fantastic! The staff who were doing all the games and stuff were brilliant so please share that with them! Been to many places that attempts kids stuff and this was one of the best we’ve had. We ate at the bar and the food was good, we ate at the castle restaurant and that was good and the brick restaurant for breakfast and again it was great. We absolutely loved the breakfast. As far as the hotel goes it was great! Swimming pool could do with a bit of an update but we got wet and that’s all that matters! Thanks Legoland!
