Ich hatte die glücklichste Essenserfahrung in Ihrem Restaurant, dank der außergewöhnlichen Tischservice von Connor! Von dem Moment, als ich einstieg, hat er mich mit einem warmen Lächeln begrüßt und mich zu Hause fühlen. Während der gesamten Mahlzeit war er aufmerksam, wissensvoll und ging oben und darüber hinaus, um sicherzustellen, dass meine Bedürfnisse erfüllt wurden. Seine Empfehlungen waren auf der Stelle, und er überraschte mich sogar mit einem komplimentären Dessert, das einfach göttlich war! Connors Professionalität und freundliche Demoanor haben wirklich meinen Abend erhoben. Ich kann nicht warten, um zurückzukehren und seine unverschämte Service wieder zu genießen. Kudos an Connor und das gesamte Personal für die Erstellung einer erinnerelichen Essenserfahrung!

Stayed overnight for a wedding, we were told by the bride ( who had sorted this with the place )that we could get early access to 1 of our rooms as we had little ones with us,went to reception and told no it's not on the system, when double checked with the bride we went back to reception to try again and still arguing that we hadn't , then got told the girl who sorted it had left their employment, took a while we managed to get a room sorted but arguing was a pain with tired kids. 2 bar staff for around 100 guest is not great, especially when 1 of them was just chatting away while the other bartender kept working, room was ok could do with sprucing up a bit as it looked tired ( especially for £200 per night at discounted wedding rate ). The next morning, we went for breakfast at 9.15am, which we sorted the day before when we checked in and had witnesses to we were told we missed our time as they said it was 8.15am. Again, arguing with us instead of admitting they were wrong and just sorting it, they had to be awkward for a bit. I would not recommend this place for the money you pay. P.s. The staff could do with smiling a bit more and look like they are enjoying their job instead of walking around looking miserable.

We stayed on Sunday 10th September in Delamere, one of the courtyard rooms and started with a perfect Roast Beef Lunch. Possible the best we’ve ever had. Our room was really comfortable and well-appointed. Whilst the bathroom was small, it was cleverly laid out and suited us well. Good lighting for makeup, which makes a refreshing change from most places we visit! Dinner was equally as good (although one constructive criticism would be that the there should be a better variety on the Cheese Board. However we’ve not reduced our 5 * rating because everything else was spot on). After a very comfortable sleep we thoroughly enjoyed a superb breakfast. Great choice, generous and delicious! We enjoyed The Pheasant Inn so much that we are planning to give vouchers to various family members as Christmas gifts and will definitely be back ourselves soon. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful location with an incredibly old characteristic building, friendly and helpful staff. Totally enjoyed my stay, if you get the chance to stay here I would highly recommend it. But please remember this is an old building so floorboards creak and doors will slam and walls may not be the thickest. It’s full of character and charm so if you want high end modern, this may not be the place for you. I loved it here and will definitely return

What a fabulous hotel. Staff are top drawer and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Bedrooms are quite small, but very clean an tidy. Bar is well stocked and for any real ale drinkers. Spitting Feathers bitter hits the spot. Highly recommended.
