Great meal, reasonable price, good service. Arrvied on a whim. Most tables were reserved but 'squeezed' us in. Order was taken quickly. Menu had a good selection. Was a delay getting the food but it was worth the wait. Had the sizzlers and enjoyed every bite. Decent price. Overall a good experience and will be coming back to sample the specials.

This was my/our third stay at the White Hart and that alone tells you that it is such a fabulous Hotel. too many accolades to write but everything was above and beyond expectations. The rooms were much bigger than expected and beautifully appointed. Easily on par with the Premier Inn chain but a little bit more special in every way. The Hotel has style, class and character, which is sadly lacking in the larger chains. The staff are simply wonderful and you can have a good chat with them, regardless of the time of day or how busy they are. The restaurant has an eclectic menu but everything is freshly cooked, so you really do get the best meals. The restaurant isn't a bland space, you do feel as though you are in a much classier restaurant and it is always busy. Free parking and quick access to the major routes makes the location ideal for all clientele. We will most definitely be returning for multiple stays and will be looking forward to it. Meine Mutter und ich nahmen ein Hotel Swindon des Jury für einen kurzen zweitägigen Aufenthalt für eine Konferenz ein. Aufgrund einer medizinischen Notlage und dann, wenn wir beide krank waren, wurde unser zweitägiger Aufenthalt zu einem siebentägigen Aufenthalt. Die Jury wurde unser Zuhause weg von zu Hause und konnte nicht besser sein. Die Mitarbeiter waren angesichts unserer bedauerlichen Situation sehr unterstützend und freundlich. Ich habe niemandens Namen gefangen, aber ich wollte mich besonders bei zwei Mitarbeitern bedanken, die mir bei meiner Mutter geholfen haben, als sie sehr krank war und ins Notfallzimmer ging. Die beiden Damen gingen über und über ihre üblichen Arbeitsaufgaben ohne Zweifel. Ich schulde ihnen eine gewaltige Dankbarkeit und ich hoffe, ihre Aufsichtsbehörden erkennen das erstaunliche Personal, das sie so glücklich haben. Unser Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und hatte einen großen Blick auf Swindon, die eine charmante Stadt ist. Besonders alte Stadt Swindon, gerade auf der Straße vom Hotel. Es ist zentral auf vielen großen Buslinien gelegen und ist kurzen Spaziergang vom Busstation. Das Frühstücksbuffet war absolut lecker, wie jeder Mahlzeit vom Restaurant. Meine einzige Beschwerde ist, dass das Zimmer nicht mit einem Mini-Kühlschrank oder Mikrowelle ausgestattet war, was für uns sehr bequem gewesen wäre, aber wir konnten nur fein essen zwischen den verfügbaren Lebensmittelzustellungen und dem Hotelrestaurant. Ich wünsche mir, dass jedes Hotel Jury's Inn Swindon Caliber war. Gut gemacht. 👏

On arrival, first impressions are very favourable. This is a nice-looking inn with loads of character. We arrived out of hours and had to call the number for check-in advice. No problem, this was fairly smooth. Unfortunately, our room, which was otherwise OK, had no aerial cable to reach the television. After 5.30, when the bar opened, I popped in and asked about this. We were promptly swapped to another room, room 3. Room 3 needs to have the toilet properly plumbed in. At the back of the lavatory, there is no drop. In fact, the waist is actually having to work against a very slight upward gradient. This meant that every time I flushed, I had to help the flush with a bucket of water. Sometimes, even then, taking several attempts. Otherwise, the room was clean if not a little tired. There was no housekeeping on our second day, so I had to ask for tea and milk top ups. Apart from that, it would have been fine as we only had 2 nights. On the second night we ate in the restaurant. The food, though it took a while to arrive, was very nice. Although when we were asked if we wanted gravy, which wasn't on the menu, we were charged £1.95 each. While one of our group couldn't have a banana split, we were still charged for it. In spite of her alternative being cheaper. So a nice It was our first time at the Carpenters Arms and a few nigles that could be ironed out fairly easily for a more memorable stay. Would I return, perhaps, I wouldn't rule it out.

A nice comfortable bed, and a decent breakfast.

We chose this hotel for a couple of reasons. Firstly it said it had a car park. Then two days before our stay, they emailed to say their car park was limited and we might have to park elsewhere. Limited is being nice - it has 8 car park spaces for the whole hotel. So it is highly likely you'll need to stay at the car park across the road with no gates and no security. We were supposed to get a discount as we were staying at the hotel but were told the discount wasn't working. Then the lifts weren't working so we had to carry out cases to the top floor! Having lugged our luggage up 15 flights of stairs (which were not nice and had rubbish in the stairwell), we found they had put us in a double and not a twin. My husband is 6ft 4 so we always book twin beds as we can't fit in a double...and this was a small double. They do not have a phone to ring reception so I had to go back down 15 flights of stairs to talk to reception. Even though they made the mistake, they acted like we were a real inconvenience but they did move us...to the twin room next door, which meant another 15 flight of stairs for me. Breakfast the next morning was crazy and they had run out of most things. They did bring out more but we had to wait about 20 minutes to even get cutlery. We were really unimpressed with the hotel. The staff weren't friendly or helpful, there were hardly any amenities and having to deal with the dirt and rubbish in the stairwell, the hotel did not feel clean. I would rather pay a little extra and stay somewhere much better.

Schöne und schöne Umgebung. Viel zu wählen von zum Frühstück. Die meisten Mitarbeiter sind nett, aber es gibt einen Mann, der nicht so nett ist, wie er spricht und Fragen beantwortet. Es gibt zwei Glas im Badezimmer, das ist gut, aber wenn Sie ein Glas im Zimmer trinken möchten, bringen sie Ihnen immer noch die gleiche Art von Glas zu. Ich denke, sie sollten unterschiedliche Glasformen für verschiedene Zwecke haben. Auch einige der Teebecher sind zu groß und sind überhaupt nicht klassisch.

Stayed one night in a superior double and i cannot fault the cleanliness and facilities of the room. I was Warned that the bar stayed open to early hours and i didnt hear anything when in my room. The breakfast was ordered the night before and was excellent. All staff happy to help and polite.
