Re Hotel provided for “a national company” the accommodation was unsafe, unfinished and unfit for purpose. To be clear; I have been in the construction industry for 33 years and I am currently the service delivery manager of 16 years with this company, accountable for the Responsive Repairs, maintenance and Voids properties for “a national housing provider”and “a national company” fire compliance work through our other FRA departments & Fire Safety work across the country. The hotel in question Blaby Westfield House Hotel is truly an appalling hotel provided by Agiito web site options. On entering the car park, the front entrance windows blinds were hanging down off the windows, after I parked, the reception was to the side of the building. On entering the reception, I could smell and feel the dust in the air. There were patches of bare plaster on the walls where the walls had been repaired, I understand thing need repairing so I walk to reception and gave my reservation. I was greeted by the reception person who took my reservation and informed there was no breakfast as the chief was on holiday (I was informed at the time of booking there was no breakfast) therefore I asked is the chief back next week? to which the recreationist stated, ”we don’t know he has been gone a long time”. So now I am thinking what?? I continued my booking and received room number 102 which is situated in the main house building above the front entrance. After walking up and around several corridors through several fire doors which I guarantee are not certified under fire regulations (I am fully versed in the requirements for fire doors and fire safety of buildings). As I walked to my room again around another small corridor the hard-wired fire alarm had a yellow empty tile grouting bucket on the floor as I focused on the bucket, I then realised water was running into the bucket as I looked up it was running out of the fire alarm sensor into the bucket!!! I returned downstairs and informed the receptionist who said, ” Yes it’s the water tank in the loft is leaking the man was meant to fix it last week but it’s still leak, and he hasn't returned yet.” Therefore, there has been no working fire alarm at this hotel for over a week!!! Another breach of Fire Regulations and hotel safety regulations. I asked so when is the Fire Alarms going to be fixed? and the receptionist shrugged his shoulders and stated “I don’t know”!!! The appalling condition and false advertising of this hotel doesn't stop at the complete failure of all Hotel fire Safety Regulations. I was sent to the bar while the receptionist went to get what I can only assume was the manager, I was asked could I go down the ground floor corridor to the bar / restraint area. I walked down the corridor as requested to find myself in the front reception bar/restaurant area, yes where the blind are hanging off the windows, once on the inside looked like a building site!!! Ich war bei der Marriott für Geschäftszwecke und war dort 3 Nächte. Es war das erste Mal, dass ich dort war und bei Ankunft war die Rezeption ziemlich grundlegende mit sehr wenig Informationen über das Hotel geteilt. Es legte den Ton für meinen Aufenthalt fest: Das Zimmer war ok, aber müde. Es gab keine Seife im Badezimmer und es gab Haare auf dem Boden. Das sagte, es war sehr ruhig und das Bett war sehr komfortabel Meine Schlüsselkarte war nicht für den Exekutivlounge, die Teil des Pakets mit dem Zimmer, für das ich bezahlt hatte, aktiviert. Dies war eine Aufsicht über die unweltgemäße Ankunft. Ich habe das Zimmer jeden Tag gereinigt. Das geschah die ersten zwei Tage und am dritten nicht. Ich hatte keine sauberen Glass oder Wasser im Zimmer, die mich dann von der Rezeption bis zur Bar übergeben, bis jemand bereit war, mir ein sauberes Glas und eine Flasche Wasser zu geben. Das Restaurant war beschäftigt und sie waren unterbesetzt. Meine Nahrung kam vor meinem Getränk, und als es kam, hatte das Glas einen großen Krack ganz rund. Es wäre schön gewesen, nicht zu warten 20 Minuten auch für einen Drink. Das Wi-Fi im Hotel, einschließlich der Exekutivlounge, war sehr schlecht und die Telefonrezeption war so schlecht, dass ich in meinem Auto zu setzen musste, um Anrufe zu machen. Nicht akzeptabel für ein Hotel, das Geschäftsdienstleistungen anbietet. Ich sprach mit dem Essen am Morgen, dass ich zurückgelassen habe, um Rückmeldungen zu geben, da ich nicht einfach gehen wollte, ohne etwas zu sagen (Ich habe versucht, mit der Rezeption über ein paar Fragen zu sprechen, während ich dort war, aber keine Hilfe gab). Die Dame, die ich traf, war nett und entschuldigte sich, und sie nahm meine E-Mail und sagte, sie würde mit dem Manager sprechen und zu mir zurückkommen. 3 Tage später und nicht ein Wort, das mir nicht Vertrauen für ihren Kundenservice und Dinge, die sich für zukünftige Aufenthalte verbessern. Auf positivem Hinweis waren die Bar- und Restaurantpersonal (mit Ausnahme der Dame auf der Restaurantrezeption) sehr freundlich und hilfreich, obwohl sie von ihren Füßen gelaufen waren. Ein großer Schrei auch für Lenka im Executive Lounge. Sie war der beste Botschafter für das Hotel. Ich bin einmal im Monat in Leicester mit einer neuen Stelle und trotz der Tatsache, dass Marriott das nächste Hotel ist, werde ich nicht das nächste Mal nach meiner Erfahrung und ihrem offenbaren Mangel an Interesse an meiner Erfahrung als Kunde bleiben.

Our had booked three rooms for a family get together. The staff were all efficient, helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were looking a little ragged and in need of updating. The hotel was full and busy and tended to be noisy. We had two disturbed nights from noise in the corridors. I thought the hotel could do more to promote courtesy among guests. Such as better signage - you are now entering a quiet zone no noise in corridors. The posters on the walls were not obvious. The pool and spa were closed for repair and we were not informed of this prior to our travel.

Nice place and location. See you next time. I love the staff they are very friendly. Rooms very neat Nice environment close to a mall where you have different restaurants. Lastly parking is free.

Myself and my family had an amazing time - the portions of the Christmas meal were so big and so tasty I was surprised at how generous the servings were!! The service was spot on and very professional. The kids got beautifully wrapped presents which they were so happy with - a super friendly Santa Claus went round to meet and greet all tables and the kids were so happy - the tables were personalised with named table settings which was a lovely special touch - there was a lovely kids play area- the staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for us to make us comfortable and if we needed anything extra they sorted out for us immediately. Well done to all the Winstanley team you are all amazing!!!! Thank you so much - our Christmas was stress free with no stress making Christmas dinner and the kids all had a fab time and all my family were impressed 💕 This is the first time we have decided to have Christmas dinner out and we were not disappointed it was fab, great atmosphere, music and decorations overall perfect experience. Massive thank you to all the amazing team once again at Winstanley House ♡

Only one towel was available not the most hygiene of rooms. Location is great
